I think your waypoints could use some work. Trying to load this right at the Aleport waypoint makes my character stutter step a lot when trying to find where to go. So unfortunately, this seems to be completely unusable 🙁

The 9, 10, 11 waypoints also aren’t at the right place for Isles of Umbra South Shore for Endoceras. Waypoints 4 and 5 seem to be better for it. 0, 1, and 2 connect to that one, so that would at least make sense.

EDIT: You also have the wrong bait for Intuition set for Takitaro and the Giant Takitaro (they’re reversed)…so that’s two of the steps in this scenario that need fixing, would highly recommend double-checking it all before using 🙁

Best thing I can suggest is to turn the game into Windows Mode and minimize it, rather than just leaving it open full screen in the background. if it’s minimized, i think you should be able to use your mouse and keyboard normally.

Made a navigation grid for Botanist at The Great Work in Thavnair (Lv85 Mature Trees)

Originally made this for Palm Syrup, but can also be used for Coconut or Palm Log. Ran for 20 mins w/ no issues. Requires flying because I think that’s the fastest way to go about gathering anything, but can be modified by dragging the waypoints down to the ground.

Tested the expert crafting on two of the recipes (that’s all I had yellow scrips for) and it worked perfectly. Didn’t crash, and I think it went out of its way to make use of Centered’s status correctly (but couldn’t tell to be honest.) Both of the recipes I had it craft went perfectly. One with 46 steps and 100% Quality, the other with 42 steps and only 5307 Quality (had really bad RNG)… But the solver worked!

Yeah, lalibot has it right you can play sounds when the window isn’t active. I’ve had it on for years, very handy for alt-tabbing out of the game and a duty pops or something.

Remember that when they squish player stats, they’re going to squish enemy stats to compensate. SOME stuff will get harder to do unsync, but ideally it won’t be a large problem because if it was they’d have a riot on their hands.

Can a moderator remove Yuji’s link in the “Logging The Hours: Black Shroud IV” section? That leads to https://miqobot.com/forum/forums/topic/first-lv35-btn-oak-logs-grid/ which doesn’t have any downloadable .txt file at all (no grids or presets, just the text that says what the setup is)

Not sure if the attachment was deleted or what, but yeah…after 2 years it’s no longer a valid bit of info!

I was not aware that chests could spawn inside of traps…so that’s definitely good to know, and I’ll definitely check out that other thread. Thank you very much!

EDIT: I would also like to echo kekvitirae’s suggestion for a higher plateau for red mage healing. At higher floors, you have to start spamming the heal button yourself, which can lead to you fighting Miqobot for actions and can cause some weirdness depending on what your keybindings are. (Obviously when you get to within the last 10% of possible floors you need to heal yourself every single time you take a hit period so it might be better to not have assist on at all, but that’s another discussion entirely)

Can I make a request to not have the trap guess locations in the 3D radar for POTD/HOH disappear from the screen if you use one of the pomanders to reveal exactly where they are? Am going for the ‘find 100 undiscovered horde’ achievement and if I use that pomander then I can’t try standing on the places where I know a trap COULD be but definitely isn’t because they got revealed. One of the pomanders leaves them on the 3d radar, the other completely removes them (apologies for not knowing the name of the right one, I’m away from my computer for the next few days)

You’ll want to be a little careful using this, because all it’s doing is spamming the command over and over again. It’s not “smart” about what’s going on, it’s just repeating button presses.

I know of at least 1 person who was doing something similar to this (spamming 0 0 4 0 with keyboard software instead of this specific bot, but the end result is the same) all night, and then claimed they woke up to find most of their gil gone. Why? Because somebody transferred their house to that spot (beating them to the punch of buying it) and they put their retainer right on the edge of the property near the board that you have to click on, and kept putting items up for sale which the bot would then buy because it was spamming 0.

Those people were likely using this thing in an unsafe manner.

Don’t let it run for 4 days in a row in a crowded area where lots of people can see you never leaving. Keep an eye on it occasionally so it doesn’t get stuck when running around gathering things. Babysit it a bit, and you’ll be fine. I’ve been using it for over a year (with a few 8+ hour days thrown in sometimes) and I’ve never gotten so much as a warning or anything about it. But I use it smartly, and I’m willing to bet that everybody who was suspended wasn’t being smart about it.

Here’s what I used:

I manually pre-selected the BSM recipe in the crafting window (so it didn’t need to search for it for each of the craft(6) things) so when it went to craft the items, it automatically selected what the crafting window was left on. Sometimes food ran out before finishing all 6 crafts, so you may want to bump those numbers down to 5 just to be safe. My food was on 0 and the syrup was on ctrl+0, so you may also need to change those to fit your own location. The 3 in the keybind is just to wait 3 seconds for the animation to play out. The syrup only needs 1 because it’s a much quicker animation.

Scenario tab will let you change jobs from MIN to BTN and repair and stuff. If you only do the gathering tab, then it’ll just run around the grid and gather items.
