    Botted here for 5 hours MGP straight, never went away from my desk.

    However, I have the bot set to AFK for 10-15 minutes or so every hour, and i also visit my retainers to send them out and then go back to mini-games.

    Never got a tell from a GM, never got a warning, or ban, or anything.

    Using it for idk how many years now, never banned, or suspended.

    Granted I never leave it unattended. If you do leave it unattended, you’re probably gonna get banned eventually because people will catch on and report.

    It’s too bad that running dungeons with trusts doesn’t count for the “Tank You” achievements, then we could just have them run Holminster Switch, Qitana Ravel, or the new Heroes’ Gauntlet dungeon added to the list. Still find it a bit weird that Trusts don’t count, but unsynced solo runs do. XD

    This is one that I would love to see added as well. Tanks at 80 can absolutely crush Sirensong Sea. Shisui is slightly faster I believe (I haven’t done proper timings), but also has a bit more mechanical action, especially on the 2nd boss, though even without doing the mechanics properly, they can still handle it no problem.

    If it was me, I would add one of those two for people doing “Tank You” achievements. I hope to see Miqobot add this function sometime in the near future.

    No, crafting is not broken.
    It works exactly the same way as before.

    Tried to use it to craft, it spammed Rapid Synthesis until it lost half my GP on it

    Rapid Synthesis is an RNG ability. It can fail many times in a row.
    However, Miqobot does not include an emotional response. Regardless of how many times Rapid Synthesis fails, Crafting Solver continues to follow the optimal synthesis path. It will make no attempt to salvage a failing craft.

    There is no magic that would allow RNG abilities to succeed. If the RNG has decided that the current synthesis must fail, it will fail.

    Is something broken with it or is it better to just remove those two skills from the hotbar?

    The rotation including RNG abilities is the best possible rotation.
    But you can manipulate the way RNG affects your crafts by simply removing it from your hotbar.

    • If you craft a lot of expert recipes and would like to achieve maximum rating over a big number of crafts, then RNG abilities are paramount.
    • If you craft only a few recipes and would like to see a stable process instead, then please remove RNG abilities from hotbar.

    Hmm okay, good to know, I’ll keep praying to RNG gods to not hate me too much.

    Yes, our hosting provider DigitalOcean is indeed having problems:

    You may experience problems depending on which ISP route you are using.
    This issue is occuring on a global scale and there is nothing we can do but wait.

    However, Miqobot server is currently online and functioning correctly.
    All you have to do is connect via a stable ISP route.
    If you still experience this problem, please try accessing Miqobot via VPN services.

    Cool, there seems to be a lot of problems with internet access today, not just Miqo, mainly posted it to find out if it’s a problem I can fix myself or if I just have to wait for you guys.

    Good to know though, I’ll chill and wait for it to return.

    How can a human play a gold saucer game for 9 hours straight even with some ‘random’ breaks in between. They cant.

    Hi, I once spent about 16 hours in gold saucer running chocobo races. Manually. Before I learned of the existence of this bot.

    I also spent 7-8 hours straight mining, then several hours crafting.

    Humans can absolutely do that.

    I’ve been through that long ago. I changed their names 5 or 6 times, it doesn’t matter what name I give them, it always errors out.

    I skipped the AFK to next line because the node was already spawned. It just goes through it and repeats it, but it doesn’t actually gather. It just teleports. AFK’s until the time, runs to the end and then resets itself.

    The gathering part actually works flawlessly:

    It’s the scenario specifically that apparently fails.
    And another thing, I am not sure if this is relevant, if i try to export the Scenario for the EtherealCocoon, I get “Scenario EtherealCocoon has unresolved links. Look at message log for details

    Theres a typo in that preset name. Could you export it and attach here?

    I managed to fix it about an hour after posting that, for some reason exporting it and then importing it made it recognize the grid. Now I have another issue with it where it doesn’t actually go gather. It waits until 8:05 ET, selects the rotation, goes to startGathering and does nothing at all.

    No idea what I’m doing wrong here.

    Is this actually useful? I tried to use it to craft an entire set of endgame crafting gear however it practically told me to gather everything myself. It didn’t find a grind for Sandalwood sap, or Ethereal Cocoon, or Shade Quarts, or Bog Sage, or Sweet Marjoram etc.

    It did find the grid for yellow alumen, dwarven cotton boll, dimythrite sand, mythrite sand, iridescent cocoon and effervescent water. It made it at least a little easier to know what i need to gather, but it wasn’t particularly useful.

    Small note about MCH combat assist.

    Five skills are important here, Wildfire, Hypercharge, Heat Blast, Ricochet, Gauss round.

    The way miqo does things in the opener is:

    Air Anchor, ricochet, reassemble, drill, gauss round, heated split, ricochet, heated slug shot, gauss round, heated clean shot, ricochet, barrel stabilizer, gauss round, wildfire, hypercharge, heat blast, heat blast -> ricochet/gauss round/heat blast rotation.

    Miqo always starts wildfire and hypercharge only after using up all 3 charges of both Ricochet and Gauss Round, and then has to Heat Blast twice to reset them, this loses a small amount of DPS, is it possible to put a flag in Miqo to not trigger hypercharge unless either Ricochet or Heat Blast is on 15s cooldown so using Heat Blast will reset one and the rotation can keep going?

    If you guys tell me how to make the changes myself I’d be happy to test if this is a damage increase for MCH, or if you can send me a test version of miqo so I can mess with it in savage and see if it performs better or worse.

    If that wasn’t clear enough, summary below:

    Miqo uses Hypercharge during the opener when both Gauss round and Ricochet are on a 30s cooldown, so she has to cast heat blast twice to reset them and have the rotation there properly.

    Edit: I doubt this will ever make it high on the priority list even if it’s considered or if it was tried already, just might be a small touch that might make MCH even more effective than it already is.

    OP, can you stop being a dick?

    Miqobot devs are just about the nicest people I’ve met. You really should review your overall behaviour, I asked Miqobot devs for something I won’t name out of privacy reasons for the developers, they could have easily said no and that’s that, instead they obliged my request and I continued to use miqo for a couple months after that event until i quit FF14, I’m coming back to FF14 later this week and I’ll be picking up Miqo again, I also got a couple other friends to use this program.

    My previous job involved customer support, and OP, i can safely say you’re one those entitled plants masquerading as a human being that demand free things constantly and believe you are entitled to everything. That ain’t how it works man.

    Being polite and civil about things goes a lot further as compared to what you are doing.

    Are all trust dungeons implemented, or just Holminster Switch for now? Only asking so I know how to plan ahead.
