Constant error messages that it cannot connect to the server, it’s been like this all day. What’s going on? It worked fine yesterday and the day before etc.

Yea something on miqobot is broken, i emailed them and they insist its fine, but something is definitely up atm. I cant access the bot or the website reliably atm.

So got them to look more, it appears their Host is having DNS server issues. So until they fix it some folks in certain regions will be broken due to the routing.

Yes, our hosting provider DigitalOcean is indeed having problems:

You may experience problems depending on which ISP route you are using.
This issue is occuring on a global scale and there is nothing we can do but wait.

However, Miqobot server is currently online and functioning correctly.
All you have to do is connect via a stable ISP route.
If you still experience this problem, please try accessing Miqobot via VPN services.

So I think this may not be your Host Miqobot, it appears that there is some sort of Widespread issue in the North America atm, affecting alot of stuff. sadly we’re just stuck in the middle.

All active license codes have been extended with additional 24 hours in order to compensate for the downtime.
We are monitoring the status of the problem.

So yea, Level3/Centurylink is basically unable to resolve DNS requests at the moment, reports are theres a DDOS going on at one of their datacenters.

If you have a VPN or can change the DNS server of your modem to something else it may fix it, but sadly we’re just stuck :< Sorry Miqobot

Cool, there seems to be a lot of problems with internet access today, not just Miqo, mainly posted it to find out if it’s a problem I can fix myself or if I just have to wait for you guys.

Good to know though, I’ll chill and wait for it to return.

Heads up, my connection just restored itself so i would try closing and reopening and see if more folks are back online.

My connection to the website and the Miqobot client server were down as well, but everything seems to have returned to normal sometime in the last half hour. And my connection to a lot of sites has been iffy all morning. Even Reddit isn’t working right (although that’s not terribly uncommon…)

Our hosting provider has reported that they implemented a fix for the networking issue.
