    For those unsure of what I mean, I’m talking about attacks with the large Eye icon above the enemy (and sometimes player) head. The only way I’ve found to avoid these mechanics is to use the toggle option to pause combat assist and look away. Is this the most efficient way to do this?

    That is the most efficient way to do it yes.

    You dont need to pause combat, just untarget the mob and turn around. After the attack is cast, resume whooping it’s ass.
