I never understood why people have not-real life friends on their friends list. This is especially true if you plan to bot. Luckily the only person on my friends list is a real life friend, and he knows I bot in other games. So no issues for me.

To respond to the original post. I have farmed MGP every day during the last time they had a bonus MGP. Would literally start it before going to bed every night. I would use a random number generator 69-99. And whatever number it spat out, I would farm whatever race that many times. Unless it popped out a number ending in 0 in which case I ran it again. second 0 I just do it. I feel non 0 numbers are more realistic to a real person. No one does anything 100 times. They do it till they are tired which is more likely 99 times or 94. or 106. or if you really tried doing 100 for some reason, you simply lost count and did 101.

I have since adjusted it to where I basically farm whatever material for an hour or so and go do 10-20 races then go back to farming. I farm 8 hours a day, and so will have it go to gold saucer and do some random number between 11 and 25 every time i switch which material i am farming. Just have him teleport somewhere for racing and not just que where you stand next to a ore spawn point.

So one of the users made a tool you might find useful

you basically input what you want to craft, lets say 2 exarchic ring of casting and 1 choker of the same kind
If you already have all the mats you can select crafting own scenario, it will change jobs and what not and make all 3 pieces including the craftable mats from different jobs.
You can also set it to gather most of the mats, some you will still have to buy. and have it gather then craft.

    As always. Lyfox Thank You.

It doesn’t Seem to work. Not sure if I made the meticulous spam one right. just doing it 5 times.
    Any pointers? suggestions?
It seems the 1000 collectability was created with features we don’t have.

Dolomite Grid – You have to unlock Dolomite first.
Includes teleport and going to it. Gather once And extracting materia afterwards which can easily be deleted if you don’t want.
    Available 8AM and 8PM i think.
    Needs flying

    1) You’d still have to walk around but it’d do the combat for ya.

I mean within a scenario that can be created on the other tab. Like go to waypoint xy ‘tab target’ and attack.

Yep you have to go into Shadowbringers and unlock those by doing main story. They are Trust Dungeons.

As always, thanks for the info.

You can reduce some of those times. i know for a fact I was using .37 sec after hitting f12 on your first line when I got my house. Just looked it up. I suggest reduce a time by .05, and see if that works for a few minutes, then reduce it further and try again. if it fails, add .01 and then try again. Just manually adjust each wait individually so you know which is the problem. 37 is not the least time, I would change two of the times every time I ran the bot and never optimized it completely.

Also too fast is obvious you are a bot. Think of how fast you can do it. And i don’t mean once. Put a movie on. Hit a timer, do it 60 times, while watching the movie, and then stop the timer. If it took you 2 minutes to do it 60 times while watching a movie, then realistically you should only have mq do it once per 2 seconds. The closer to what you can do in reality you make it, the less you’ll get caught IMO. which is why I would always have it repeat for some completely random number. repeatChapterFor(4:28:32). Because if you think about tit, nobody plays, or does any task for any exact X:00:00. You always stop at some random time.

Luck Also plays a lot into it. Remember it’s just about who hits it first when it pops, which can be someone doing it slower. Before I got MQ, I lost a house i was spamming on within minutes of stopping. I was too tired, thought to myself f this, i’m never getting a house, started to walk away and saw the purchase go through. Which made me even more committed to getting one. Then within days, 2 in a row I stopped spamming because my wife asked me a question and in that minute pause i lost the house. When I got MQ, within 3 days I got lucky.

Nope. Its something that would require inventory management but theres no such thing in Miqo. It was planned iirc but im not sure how far the development on that point is.

Too bad. Hopefully eventually the community votes to include this. Too bad ffxiv doesn’t let you lock an item into a position.

    Try {esc} instead.

    Awesome!

    Try this:

    waypointPrecise(17)
    teleportNpc()
    changeJob(PLD)

Replace the everything from waypoint(17) to changeJob() with this. teleportNpc() should handle the barracks entering for you so you dont have to hit keys manually.

    Thanks a Ton!

Another set of things to look at is the angle and vangle of your character. Using the “monitor” tab you can see exactly where you are standing and the angle you are looking at. Setting your character to mimic that before using teleportNPC() makes sure that he is going to do the same thing every time.

    waypoint(3)
    vangle(0.5)
    angle(1.0)
    teleportNpc()

    Thanks a Ton too!

Thanks to the both of you on helping me figure out the 50% going through teleport. I was about to comment that I figured it out. I added a waypoint along the path before 17. I add it close to the NPC that I would accidently select. So my character would run towards him but then would be facing away from him when I selected the door. However both your scrips are shorter than mine so I’ll change to both, and let you know which turns out better.

Ok So I mostly got the Feed the chocobos chapter fixed. Grid has 2 waypoints, one in front of chocobo one at teleport point.
    1. Anyway for it to look for the sylkis and select it?
    2. How do I send Key input for “escape”? I replaced “num0” with “escape” to no avail. Its to skip the cutscene.
I also figured out how to send barracks runs through scenario kinda.
    1. So it only works 50%. When I hit f12, it either targets the door to get me in, or targets the dude standing there. Help please???

    //CHOCOBO FEEDING
    teleport(Estate)
    selectGrid(House)
    waypoint(2)
    key(f12, 1.5) //target placard
    key(num0, 3) //open placard menu
    key(num0, 3) //have to hit 0 to see pointer
    key(num0, 3) //tend to chocobos
    key(num0, 3) //0-15
    key(num0, 3) //My chocobo
    key(num0, 25) //Sylkis
    key(num4, 3) //left
    //BELOW Feeds my friends chocobo
    key(num0, 3) //0-15
    key(num2, 3) //Move from mine to his
    key(num0, 3) //Select his
    key(num0, 3) //Sylkis
    key(num4, 3) //left
key(num0, 25) //yes (something about it wont affect favorite.)

//Barracks Dungeons as part of scenario
    teleport(New Gridania)
    selectGrid(Barracks)
waypoint(17) //I made multiple routes to get there for no reason thats why 17
    key(f12, 1.5) //target placard
    key(num0, 3) //select
    key(num0, 3) //option
    key(num4, 3) //left
    key(num0, 20) //yes
    changeJob(PLD) //in case i forget
    dungeon(The Stone)
    squadron(5)
materiaExtract() //cause yeah otherwise i forget.

Its pretty easy. Just make an empty scenario and type two lines.

    nqhq(HQ)
    craft(max)

Replace ‘max’ with a number of crafts if you want to.

    You Sir are Awesome.

    This is amazing shishio. Kudos

I have a question though can I use this to just set it to gather all the materials without the crafting part?

    This is easy.
    1. Create a scenario that has all the elements you want to gather. Example Say I want Iron and copper. I make a crafting list for iron ingot and copper ingot. It then generates the scenario. with 4 chapters, intro chapter, one for gathering copper, one for gathering iron, and then one for crafting.
    2. Import it into Miqo
    3. Delete the final chapter. which is the crafting part.

So add in a bunch of crafting so all the components are in the gathering section. Delete all the chapters for stuff you don’t want to gather, then delete the final chapter.

Here a little scenario for Chocobo Racing with the new random afk feature.
I used the preset of FTAC_14 for the race (R300 Sagoli road), but you can uses any of the presets available (just change the name of the first line in the first chapter of the scenario for your waypoint name)

The scenario is quite simple, it will do 15 races, then AFK for a random amount of time between 5 minutes and 30 minutes, then repeat.

This is very awesome. Thanks a bunch. For all new people, make sure you go to Chocobo Tab and set the number there till 1, or change the repeat value to 1.
I set the repeat chapter to 25, and in the chocobo tab it was set to 25 as well. It raced 25 times, then the chapter repeated. So it would have done 25 x 25 races before afking once. The next chapter was the afk, which wouldn’t have happened till it had raced over 2000 times.

I made a few maps for gathering materials. They are all ARR items. And I use flying. The maps start at aether points and take you there. Do not use if you don’t fly.

Shishio, did you made or do you have a good grid for Flax for Ramie Threads? The one that I have is pretty bad, doesn’t fly and get stuck very often.

I made a flax one. You can try it out. Flys a little extra for first gather, then is good. Only use if you have flying. Let me know if it works for you.

So I finally did a race on my own and didn’t skip the opening scene so I saw where you need to pick which one to Take.

This thread did help a bunch. Thanks for everyone who contributed.

It worked, thanks! Now Im always first or second in R80 thats cool! Just went to Forgotten Springs and watched that orange progress line on 3dradar to figure out the numbers. Uploading jumps if you want to check em out.

So I just started Choco racing last night. Got to 45ish, bred a choco, raced some more. Breed my second choco and have a level 3 now. SO R40 seems fine.

Miqo comes with R40 and R60 by default.(I think not sitting there right now, might be 40 and 50)
When should I switch to R60 or the R80 scenarios you linked? Will it become more apparent as a continue?
I normally watch Miqo do her thing, but with coco racing it’s too boring so I’ve done nothing but walk away and come back when it’s done. So my knowledge on choco racing is non existant. I limit it to 25 or so races, so as to not be too obvious.

And if it’s not too much trouble, how do I make a scenario do some choco racing. I’d like to set a scenario to do my 25 runs, and then go grab me some mats for crafting. Something to do while I cook and eat dinner, without getting any wife aggro by having the pc next to me at the dinner table.
