Please help, what am I doing wrong? When I run the scenario from inside the diadem it just takes me (via a lengthy way) to the bottom of the zone and tries to keep going. It’s on the wrong grid or something?

I have a disability which prevents me pressing buttons with any accuracy (this post took me about 10 minutes). Miqobot has allowed me to continue to play a game I love and connect with people. With a few macro tweaks I have played the following jobs clearing raids: WHM, BRD, MCH, DNC and PLD. If I’m honest I don’t like the fact that I’m technically cheating but as long as I don’t tell anyone in game and don’t act suspiciously I think I’m safe. One thing I did when I first used assist was to go afk in the middle of a raid and Pelaton kept going off. I removed it from my hotbar but it drew attention so be careful about things like that. I am immensely grateful to the team here and am patiently waiting to get back into the game.

If I remember correctly you just need to make sure the key you choose isn’t used by another key binding and if it is unassign it or swap it. Ive found that a really useful feature and use it in battle for certain mechanics (gaze moves is one example)

Ok, thank you for your replies, I do understand about the assist mode not being as good as a human, but I have raided using various jobs very successfully by manipulating macros that work for specific fights, I actually got quite good at it. This has allowed me, because of a neurological condition, to still enjoy end-game content albeit with certain restrictions. I am very grateful to Miqobot’s combat assist as I believe it has allowed me to continue playing this game. These were not as ‘critical’ roles as tanks or healers though so I was just putting the feelers out there before I experiment myself.

For me, like the last rankings, I used miqo successfully, accepting around a 50% failure rate on mats. As mentioned the bot doesn’t crash, sometimes finishes early and sometimes gets stuck on one action (in my case its always inner quiet). But I can accept that the team have told me that the bot isn’t going to work properly (or at all). I guess its human nature to try and push things to break 🙂 I am grateful that although its not working, I can still partially automate these recipes.

Chapter 8 – gathering through mining, stuck on a tree 11.2, 27.7 in that location. Not sure if this was reported or not. I tried to edit the nav points myself but it doesn’t show any nav points and killswitch was activated.

I am very happy with your business model and aside from anxiously waiting for updates (not having complained once) I have never for one second thought you guys were doing anything else other than your best. Thank you for this software, you don’t know how much it means and I can continue to play this game because of it.

I simply use the assigned pause button on occasion, but I have macro’s that I’ve set up to switch aoe actions on/off, one for setting interrupt on/off. Those are the only ones I’ve ever needed to do complete savage e5-8. Sometimes you are fighting for GCD as the bot is trying to press it quicker than you, but usually it goes off.

I have found Miqobot an excellent device to fully raid with, I avoid healing and tanking though. I hit purple logs often and with a little adjustment (using macros) can do any current content. This reply is correct though, you will never match human players and you have to be very careful when using the bot, for example, if you say you’re afk and the bot is doing something continuously like transposing etc.

Has something changed in the Lyhe Chiah spearfishing grid because I went there to get chiaroglow aethersands (reduction from fish) and got a new fishing log entry for a new fish ‘Daisy turban’ but didn’t once get the required fish for the reduction to get chiaroglow.

Ignore me, don’t know if it was me or something went wrong with the bot but it had changed the gig head to small and it should have been large.

Ok figured it out, I see now in skills the DT Oddly file was what you had made using adding/subtracting skills and it woks if I tweak. I think what threw me yesterday was I had quick gathering on so thought something was wrong.
