This is exactly why I think miqo needs a discord server. Forums are a pretty dated thing. I know there’s a fan discord but an official one or making the fan one official in some way would be good.
I know they also have far more going on for that now. Their own lives and lives of loved ones. So it’s understandable.

so they dont actually have anti-cheating systems?
They do not have client side detections… As in they have no clue what you have on your computer.
They do have server side detections, such as being able to tell if you teleport.
Would just like to point out that although not officially supported in any way, Miqobot works just fine on the Steam Deck in Steam OS without needing to put Windows on it. You can launch it via the “XIVLauncher -> Wine” settings so it opens in the same Proton Bottle. You can then ALT-TAB between the game and Miqo window with the Steam button. Some of the Miqo graphics are glitchy but nothing major.
Obviously works perfectly if you dual boot in Windows, but thought I would throw this out there for what it’s worth if you are thinking of using a Steam Deck with SteamOS and you don’t need Lutris or Crossover or addition Wine addons, just the in-build Steam proton is fine. No messing around!
Does FFXIV require launching via steam on the steam deck?

They are introducing new content, so most likely a client update will be required.
What exactly are the RebornBuddy sessions? I’m assuming you can get 3 sessions and if you have 3 different *paying* SE accounts you can run them all in the background? That seems more like gil botting.
Sessions are what you think, multiple instances of the same key being used for RB. Which as you described would allow you to control more than one instance of FFXIV on the same or different machines. Multi-boxing, how you use it is up to you
Well they said they will try and that’s more than enough.
I’m honestly surprised that they said they’d even try, I feel like if I were in Ukraine I would have said something opposite of that.

It wouldn’t know it’s dead. You would either have to tell the bot to use whichever commands a specific predetermined number of times and then to manually leave the instance. Or tell it to repeat whichever chapter has those commands x number of times and then exit the instance.
I think the feature you are actually looking for is in an update the community as a whole has expressed is to risky and is therefore a low priority for the devs.
