I’m not sure I can comment on the facing issue, but I can speak to the rest.
The main risk of squadron dungeons for hours and hours is people like friends list or FC noticing you’re in sohm al for 12+ hours out of the day. For this reason, I recommend never botting fully unattended. Maybe get some lunch, run a quick errand at most. Be able to chat with people when you need to.
You may need to make a scenario with this, but some GC seal farming scenarios are set up to make a loop out of using food, repairing items, and trading items for seals. It would be easy to take a look at those and make your own scenario very simply that repeats a dungeon, using food and manuals in between runs by manually using a key on your hotbar.
I’m in much the same boat. there isn’t a single feature of miqobot that I’m not a fan of, but the crafting solver is the only thing that really made me confident enough to dive in and try crafting for myself. I’m sure I could look into macros and planning it all out myself, but the fact that miqobot can react to different outcomes and making the right choice at different steps is a huge quality of life improvement.
I’m certainly not demanding or asking that it be given increased concern over the other things, but as I stated in that other thread I do hope that at some point, it does recieve continued support. I was shocked to hear about the apparent negative feedback that the crafting solver got, and can certainly understand why that might put a bad mood on things. I’m hoping that doesn’t happen again, as while I’m happy with combat support, MGP and gathering assistance, the crafting solver has opened up an entire side of the game to me that I wouldn’t have explored otherwise.
I understand that it’s been rough having that kind of reception to the crafting solver. But for me, that crafting solver is really the only reason I’ve been able to put up with the grind and get crafters leveled up at all, as well as tending to different needs. I won’t ask you to change your priority, (In fact, I’m really looking forward to the combat updates) but I do hope that at some point in the future, we see continued support for it.
August 21, 2019 at 2:08 am in reply to: Asking the community: Thoughts on Open World Combat and User Protection #16821Wow, a lot of good feedback here so far. Despite being quiet, I’m a big fan of the bot, and would love to see these features released. I’d much prefer option 2 to option 3 though, for the sake of safety and keeping the miqo more out of the spotlight. I’m not hugely invested in the MSQ, but it’d be nice (Though perhaps with some warning and disclaimer?) The rest such as materials and fates, I’d clearly love to see. Mostly I’m interested in using it for combat assist while caring for a young one in the household, as well as squadrons (and hopefully trusts) to get my various jobs up. My crafters are a big issue as well, and the crafting solver has been what allowed me to actually get into that scene.
TLDR: MSQ I could care less about, but some of these other features I’d like to see. Option 2 would be my preference. But I can definitely understand wanting to be safe. I think option 1 would be preferable to 3 to simply keep the bot itself safer.
July 30, 2019 at 3:21 pm in reply to: [Scenario] Gatherer Scrip Farming (Yellow/Leveling + White) #16087Just missed my window for editing, but to elaborate, sometimes it will reach
(10:20:22 AM) Gathering started.
(10:20:22 AM) Max node count: 1
(10:20:22 AM) Scanning for shiny gathering nodes like ‘<anything>’ *.*and just stop there. I tried shifting the times to 07 instead of 05, but I’m still getting this. And if it doesn’t detect, it’ll just wait there until I log out.
EDIT: Sounds from trawling the thread like it might be trying to access nodes I don’t have access to yet?

July 30, 2019 at 2:58 pm in reply to: [Scenario] Gatherer Scrip Farming (Yellow/Leveling + White) #16084I’ve been using the second one posted by zgo on page 1 of this thread, and I was wondering if someone could help identify my problem. Sometimes, when the time hits and miqo begins searching for the node, they don’t actually find anything, at which point the bot just sits still forever. Has anyone else had this issue?
DRK issue- Turns out it’s already in the patch notes. This can be deleted or whatever.

How am I supposed to get 700gp at level 61?
Honestly, it can be pretty tough. I ended up going with ironworks gear, and slapping materia on every piece I could. You might have better luck with koppranickel and gyr abanian wheat until 63 or so… But you’re going to be slapping GP materia on everything you can for these rotations.
EDIT: The level 61 options should only require 600 GP, I thought?- This reply was modified 5 years, 9 months ago by Shines.
I had this issue myself for a while, despite having more than 700 GP it would sometimes just collect the raw triphane normally. I had to put cordials onto a certain hotkey and set it to manually use those right as it job-changed to miner.
Right now the issue I’m having is that when it goes to collect Azurite, sometimes it will just hover in the air and be unable to sense any unspoiled nodes, so it just sort of hangs there. Other times it collects just fine, but as this scenario is set up sometimes it just won’t sense anything there.
I’m using the level 66 one, unmodified except for adding a cordial hotkey to the triphane steps, and adding ‘unspoiled’ to help it gather beech branches.
Edit: Also, on the lotus root step, it has a real tendency to drop off of a mount, into an aggro zone (both fates and other monsters) without having time to stealth. I’m seeing if I can make some changes later.
Edit2: Yeah, the azurite seems to be completely broken. I couldn’t guess as to why this is, but I fly there, and the unspoiled nodes it detects (If it detects any) are simply not present in the navigation grid
