I totally agreed and I think some is definitely taking an advantage of the situation.
My analogy right now with miqo and this forum is that: You have a sick friend who can’t play with you, and some go into their home and brag about how fun it is to play with other ppl. Miqo (understandably) asked that those topics isn’t discussed in their home. And some really loud minority threw a hissy fit about them being silenced. Argument about how they can talk about Miqobot in other forum isn’t completely true, I have been lurking in those discords and majority of the time Miqobot got bought up was when they were trying to make fun of Miqo, and much less the promotions that some are doing right now in the Miqo forum.
No one care if you want to play with other bots while Miqo is down. But goodness, why do people keep rubbing it in/promoting (i.e. this bot that I spent $30 on is so much better, etc). The excuse of “I am just trying to help others in Miqobot forum while Miqo is down” is also weak. If they can’t do their own research, maybe they shouldn’t be botting. There are plenty of other places where you can get together with others like-minded botters who enjoys other product (which is fine), but please don’t take advantage of this opportunity to try to demonize the dev team for trying to protect their turf. Which is something other devs are definitely doing, if you think you can freely promote Miqobot on other forum/discord without getting banned/getting shit on, you are hallucinating.
For all those blasting the poster for not wanting to keep paying for a service that will be down is unreasonable on your part as well as you know nothing about the poster’s situation.
I understand your sentiment. And I agreed with the rest of your comment. It just feels that rogynight comments are just trollish. Opinions can be presented in number of ways, although I don’t agree with them I can write their comment in ways that wouldn’t get “blasting” by the community. Their comment are not factual, they claimed that the dev are “not shy about charging it and enforcing it”. Although Miqobot team apologized multiple times for the situation, and they are not forcing us to pay for the sub.
Rogynight seems to start using miqobot in January 2022, correct me if I am wrong, during those time until now we enjoys uninterrupted service from the miqobot (aside from hours here-and-there after patches, which is expected even during normal circumstances). To come in and ask for an empathy for their money is a void point to me because Miqobot was doing what she is supposed to be doing. The miqo team was well on their way to meet the roadmap TENTATIVE timeline before the war broke out, so claiming no update is also a void point to me.
They can have their opinion, but if its a shitty opinion can lack of empathy and awareness of the world at large, others also can have opinions about their comment as well.
I usually let miqobot do most of the work for bard. The things you need to do manually is casting 1) Radiant Finale 2) Blast Arrow.
I do cast Army’s Paeon manually to end Mage’s Ballard early (at about 15-13 sec left) and cast Iron jaws before raging strikes ended.Helping miqo the first part by casting RF and BA will probably get you to blue parses, the second part, while I am no bard expert by any mean, get me to about 60-80 percentile parse.
Mch is a lot less involved. You manually cast chainsaw every 60 seconds and that’s it.
Smn is broken right now because the job got a significant reworked in 6.0. Brd and Mch is quite good at around 60-70 percentile on fflogs, plenty for casual/midcore raid scene. The performance plus the mobility of the two classes should allow you to focus on the raid mechanic without having to worry about much. Miqobot won’t be pressing the new abilities just yet, so you will have to weave those in yourself when its off CD.
Thank you so much for this, I can actually spend time with family and doing other stuff while the program help me with housing placard (I am usually close by so the bot is not unattended). While I haven’t got a house yet, I am actually excited for once when a house plot is opening up instead of being dreadful having to sit there and clicking it.
Quick question, do you think 5 sec afk instead of 10 will be too fast/too noticeable?
