At risk of sounding like an idiot, does anyone have the actual complete scenario they’d like to share? While the “build your own” concept is super impressive…. I feel like it would take me more time to write out a route for just what I want than to actually gather the stuff. I would just love it to gather a moderate amount of all the items and not spend a bunch of my time tweaking Miqo. Am I missing something obvious?

There is no shame in asking. Have you tried using the template I posted? Its a simple copy and paste, and just editing the values in “waypoint(0)”

Yeah, I think I get what you intended. Create a custom loop using your (amazing) grid, hitting each thing you want. I guess my point is – you must have filled in your own right? Why not share? But no worries, I made an attempt at putting a node from each column in your spreadsheet as a waypoint and gather(100) to let it spend some time before moving on. I’ve attached it if you’d like to take a look and see if it makes sense. Commented as well for clarity.

I did find one error in the grid. It tries to spam Mount without end when you surface but are still over deep water. I had to manually swim forward to the shore line and then mount.

Anyway, great job. Just my perspective.

Thanks for your great user support – it’s really impressive. A low priority I’m sure, just thought it might be a good idea. Thank you!

    Ok.

So, let’s suppose a user releases a scenario which contains Grid A, Preset B and Scenario C.

If the user updates their file and I want to update mine as well, I would re-download and re-import.

I would think that their file names, preset names and grid names will be the same many times, so I’d want to replace the Grid, Preset, and/or Scenario, so I get the updated version. If only A and C, or B and C had changes, then I’d like to update and overwrite those.

But if my understanding is wrong, forgive me.

The only time semi-“duplicate” grids/presets caused me an issue was with the Diadem. By deleting all my prior Diadem grids and presets, it worked great, but I had to take that step so that the import tool didn’t skip them.

Hope that helps, but that said, this is very minor, and I appreciate the time to look at it.

Ah, I understand. I guess I was confused when seeing the dialog box saying it skipped an import.

I remember when the popular diadem scenario got updated, in order to get the new version we had to delete some grids. But that may have been a unique situation and I’m not a technical person, so I may be mistaken.

    Thanks again!

Congrats Miqo team on the fast update for this expansion. All your hard work is very much appreciated!

I have one small QOL suggestion for consideration.

More and more users are maintaining and updating their grids and scenarios on the forum – fixing navigation bugs, errors, etc. Which is great! But Miqo’s import function will not allow overwriting on an import. It forces what it sees as “duplicate” to be skipped, as said in the dialogue box.

Since users are maintaining their uploads, it would be nice if Miqo would prompt the user to decide to “overwrite or skip” in the same way Windows would when moving files. We current manage this by deleting grids and presets prior to import, but it takes a long time sometimes and I’d prefer an option to import and override with the most recent versions.

    Just an idea, thanks again!

You have to create or download a scenario that includes turn in steps. Several are available on the forum.

Saw that no one replied and didn’t see this in the big grid post, so wanted to say I used this, it worked great, and I appreciate it!

    🙂

The extra Arbor Call/Lay of the Land skills was exactly the issue – thank you so much! I guess sharing hotbars among gatherers was a bad idea!

Is there an option I’m missing to have gathering classes use Lay of the Land/Arbor Call I & II? I have several scenarios from the forums that run great, but they don’t activate the skills to locate the next nodes. Even if I manually go the spot and use the Gathering tab, it collects what’s in the immediate area, then gets stuck with:

(10:36:38 AM) Scanning for shiny gathering nodes like ‘<anything>’ *.*

If I then hit Arbor Call II or Lay of the Land II, boom – the bot takes over and everything’s good – until it happens again in a minute or so.

On the gathering tab, “use compass II” is checked. Is there another option? I’m assuming I’m missing something simple.

Thanks for all the hard work, loving using the bot.

I had one small question/feedback – is it possible to toggle off the floating gathering node texts when in cutscenes, or even better, when on a combat class. It kinda stinks to use assist mode and have all the gathering nodes in your face.

If I’m missing a setting, please let me know. Thank you!

Thanks for all the hard work, Miqo team!!

I have discovered a very minor bug with the combat logic on a healer. During Alliance Roulette (LotA), you use the teleporters to move to the next section. Right after zoning in after a teleport, Miqo looked at my party list and noticed someone with “zero” HP, only they were in transit still (their HP on screen displayed as “???”). She burned Switfcast and tried to Raise the party member, who had now zoned in properly.

Perhaps when out of combat, Miqo can save swiftcast and slow res party members? That way we’re not wasting Swiftcast between bosses?

I’m having some issues with the Flames version of the grid. Everything works like a charm, but after exiting the Barracks, the scenario searches for the Flame Quartermaster, but can’t find it. If I nudge my character forward about 3 feet, that’s enough for it to be found. Obviously, 3 runs, then crapping out isn’t very efficient.

    Any suggestions?

Is anyone having an issue with Windows 10 with this .exe? It tries to block the download, which I can bypass and allow, but running normally or as administrator, I get a virus message and the file gets quarantined. I’m not running any 3rd party anti-virus, just Windows Defender. I know I can turn it off, but I never had to for Miqobot up until this point. Just curious if I’m the only one.
