In the mean time there is an easy enough work around; Just go into your Duty Support and select unsynced then select whichever dungeon your wanting to run (that Miqo can run with duty/trust) then close out the window. Then go into Miqo and make sure you select that Dungeon under combat tab. Next go to your game keybinds; gamepad tab; and set {X Button} to something not used; I use {Shift+F9} then run this custom script:

    sendKey(u, 1.5)
    sendKey(shift+f9, 1.5)
    sendKey(shift+f9, 1.5)

    squadron(1)

Its important to not touch anything on your screen while the sendkeys are running; after your in the Dungeon though your good.
It will run the whole Dungeon unsysnced solo.

I dont think anyone is trying to hack it per say. You would still have to pay the monthly subscription and the bot wouldnt do anything that its not already intended to do; people are just trying to find away to unofficially patch it so that it can keep working in the state that its in now after the patch.

Out of curiosity, is there a scenario where a moderator team could be equipped to take the reins for an extended period of time?

For the forums, yes. For the bot, no.
If it comes down to it, I will assist as much as I can, and try to create a hacky solution for the bot to keep working, but as nobody but the miqo team has access to the source code, its gonna be a lot of work to do that. The best I could do is find the new memory layout, and then try to hook into miqo to overwrite where it’s looking in the games memory, but that could very well take months to do.
The mods are just volunteers, and I’m not even a mod…

By the dev team’s own admission, Miqobot downloads her modules from a server at runtime in an attempt to discourage reverse engineering. I theorize that creating any sort of “patch” would involve 1. extracting these modules from memory, 2. do enough reverse engineering to locate the data we are interested in, 3. create some sort of wrapper that can identify and patch the data at runtime without causing any other issues. Additionally, this method assumes that Miqobot has no innate “anti-cheat” so to speak, and that the modules are downloaded in their entirety & Miqobot does not need to fetch any server-side information “on demand” that’s critical to our goal.

A memory patch will suffice, overwriting the memory addresses where miqo looks at in runtime… Doing this with something like cheat engine is possible, the main issue being finding the new addresses, and finding a method to consistently locate where the memory values miqo uses are stored within miqo after it loads the module, because that is all over the place… Different machines produce slightly different results, so making it work for others is the biggest hurdle. I got a patch for the crafting stuff in much the same manner, but it’s specific to one device… Once the memory addresses are loaded in, which miqo has to do to find the values it needs, the modification can’t be prevented by any anti tamper. The process would be something like:
    Start game.
    Start Miqo.
Start Cheat engine with custom table.
Activate base module entry, miqo now hooks to game.
    Activate combat assist in miqo.
Activate combat module entry, miqo can now read combat related data.
Disable combat module entry (or miqo will crash).
    Disable combat assist in miqo.
Getting it to work on one device is easy, getting it to work for everyone is what takes time, and as I’m jobhunting, I am low on time.

Is this something you could make a guide for so that others can do it? Instead of making a patch that works for everyone might be easier to make make a guide for each person to do themselves.

I’m not sure about QR but you can level from 80-90 with the Trust system in less than 24 hours with FC buffs and food. I ran trust while I slept and it only took about 3 nights per job.

I can share mine that I use for Reaper and Sage:
    Reaper:
    Waxing Slice
    /micon “Waxing Slice”
    /ac “Waxing Slice”
    /wait .5
    /ac “Blood Stalk”

    Infernal Slice
    /micon “Infernal Slice”
    /ac “Gibbet”
    /ac “Infernal Slice”

    Sage:
    Diagnosis
    /micon “Diagnosis
    /ac “Ixochole”
    /ac “Holos”
    /ac “Diagnosis”

    Dosis
    /micon “Dosis”
    /ac “Phlegma”
    /ac “Physis II”
    /ac “Dosis”

    Lucid Dreaming
    /micon “Lucid Dreaming”
    /ac “Kardia” <2>
    /ac “Lucid Dreaming”

These are mainly for running Trust automated for leveling. Basically when the ability is clicked if checks to see if the other procs are available and if so triggers them first. Chainsaw would be the same way just pick an ability and add /ac “chainsaw” then whatever the correct ability is under that. Then if chainsaw is up it will trigger; otherwise it will just fire as normal.

So I’ve been using the squadron function since its release with no issues; hours and hours and hours. But today for some reason when I try to run it in Sohm Al it starts up till it gets to the first set of mobs then crashes and returns the message {{Line 29390 (File path) Error: Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension rang exceeded. }} I’ve rebooted the computer and ran the bot as administrator. Any ideas what may be causing this?

Going from 21 to 0 in 4 trips.

Are we not able to run scripts in Pyros yet?

I know this is a very old post; I’ve been scanning the forms and I cant seem to find where anything ever came of this? Did it ever get implemented? Maybe in a script? Would be great for afk in Eureka

So I’m not complaining by any means; even with little flaws this combat engine is awesome! I’ve been running it for a few hours every day since it came out and I have not had any problems (until now) I’ve been running it since the very beginning with the same scenario scrip (again no issues)

    grid(Squadrons)
    waypoint(10)
    repairNpc()
    waypoint(11)
    deliverGCGear()

but every since the update when it gets to the repair npc it starts saying that it cant move because I’m in standard type not Legacy but I’m in Legacy it runs the dungeon fine and it goes to the repair NPC fine but then it freaks. And again I’ve run this same scrip over 500 times I know and it just started this with the update. Here is the error log

Adventure calls! I have to travel far away. (Grid: ‘Squadrons’, Waypoint: 10)
