Thank you very much for this information!
We haven’t considered this scenario yet.The main issue was that the previous keystrokes emulation algorithm altered the global keyboard state on a system level (specifically for Ctrl/Alt/Shift keys). But the game doesn’t read the global keyboard state, a simple WinAPI message is enough. Altering the keyboard state was an overkill, so we removed it.
Along with multiple other adjustments and optimizations, this resulted in a more stable algorithm.Do you actually experience this behaviour in Miqobot v1.2.4 on Windows 10?
Please let us know if you do. If the issue is still not fixed completely, we might have to add it to Known Issues section, along with your recommendations on how to avoid it.There is an indicator of tracks within a waypoint set, but it’s invisible.
You can identify what tracks you have by following these steps:- Select a waypoints preset in question.
- Select a track in question.
- Press Start.
- If there is no track in the selected waypoints preset, you will see a warning Message box about this.
- If there is a track already, you will see no Message box, and Miqobot will try to look for Chocobo Race NPC. Press Stop right after that to prevent her from doing anything weird.
This check can be easily performed in any location, no need to go to Chocobo Square.
And you can also use letters S C T as additional, more visible indicator, of course 🙂
Accepted 🙂
Retainer Bot is actually already planned, but not announced yet. We are researching the ingame messages and the list of available ventures for all Retainer jobs. Since they appear differently in each language, we are looking for an easy way to identify them independently from the language of the game client.
We’ll be making announcements after we finish the research and get more data.Thank you for your request!
I’m sorry to interrupt your discussion 🙂
I wanted to let the OP @codebreaker86 know that we have implemented the parameter to adjust steering in Chocobo Racing. It is available in Miqobot v1.2.4, but it’s hidden by default. In order to enable it, please follow the guide on Steer Power.
Yeah, I’ve got W for forward. The bot says nothing. It *did* say it didn’t understand my custom keybind for jump, which I fixed, but nothing about not being able to accelerate.
An issue wherein Miqobot would not be able to Accelerate with non-English keyboard layout should be fixed as well.
Hey Miqobot,
Not sure if this has been said, but would be really nice if the bot knew when to use certain abilities.
ATM I have Choco Cure III. (Which is great) But no use using it at the start of a race!
Thanks!New features to control Abilities Timing, as well as Accelerate and Decelerate conditions, are now available.
- Ability Timing is implemented and available in Miqobot v1.2.4.
- Auto Switching Classes is still under research. There seems to be no easy way to identify the class of the race currently in progress. Miqobot allows starting Chocobo Racing bot in the middle of the race, and we wouldn’t want to remove this feature.
It might require more time to find a proper solution.
Also, have we missed a third feature request?
Do you also want an additional option for assigning track name for each waypoints? At the moment, Miqobot stores all tracks (Sagolii Road, Costa del Sol, Tranquil Paths) within a single waypoints preset. And she selects the required track automatically.
Should this feature be altered?Fixes for French, German, and Japanese versions of the game have been integrated into Miqobot v1.2.4.
Fix for invisible text on 3D Radar has been integrated into Miqobot v1.2.4.
Both requests are implemented and available in Miqobot v1.2.4.
Chocobo Abilities, as well as Acceleration and Deceleration mechanics, now have dedicated settings on Chocobo Racing tab.
We have made the necessary adjustments, and the issue with Ctrl/Alt/Shift keys is fixed in Miqobot v1.2.4.
Fish Eyes is implemented and available under ’50+ skills’ settings in Miqobot v1.2.4.
Both Gathering and Crafting Macros accept F1-F12 keys, as well as Numpad 0 – Numpad 9 keys, in Miqobot v1.2.4.
This is described under Crafting Macros guide, but this feature applies to Gathering as well.
We have made the necessary adjustments, and this issue should be fixed in Miqobot v1.2.4.
Please note, that it’s impossible to fix this issue completely, since it would require implementing code injections.
From now on, Miqobot will patiently wait for mouse to stop moving before making another attempt to select ‘No’ button. She needs a small fraction of a second, so under normal circumstances you might not notice this. This behaviour is described in details under Known Issues section of v1.2.4 Patch Notes. If you want to prevent this behaviour completely, please consider switching the game to Windowed mode and minimizing it, when you run Miqobot in the background.
Crafting Macros can now be saved in Miqobot v1.2.4.
