Chocobo Racing – Decelerating

Would like Miqobot to do this mechanic some day. Even a simple rule would work, like decelerate whenever stamina drops too low and choco is lathered.

Also I’ve noticed that Breather ability regenerates even when accelerating. Meaning you can push two buttons at once and run at full speed while still healing. Maybe a bug though, seems too overpowered. Anybody seen an official response from game devs on the matter?

Also could there be a way that Miqo uses Choci abilitys later in the run?

We’ve been looking into new mechanics of Chocobo Racing for some time, and yes, both decelerating and choosing the ability moment feel like necessary additions. Also they are easy to implement.

As for Breather ability, it will become clear whether it’s a bug or not after patch 3.25 hotfixes coming tomorrow. If this mechanic doesn’t change after maintenance, we will consider implementing it for Miqobot.

We are going to research the current state of Breather mechanics and see whether it’s still of any value.

Both requests are implemented and available in Miqobot v1.2.4.

Chocobo Abilities, as well as Acceleration and Deceleration mechanics, now have dedicated settings on Chocobo Racing tab.
