Is anyone else having issues with Blind Positionals since the Alpha update? WHenever I test MNK/NIN/SAM/DRG out on the striking dummy at my fC house, Miqo will run about 8 fulms in any whacky direction (usually *away* from the dummy and out of range) to hit the positional. And then because she’s out of range, I have to move her in again, only to have to fight to keep her close as she tries to run to her next positional (and then past… and then away again…)
I recall having run into this issue once on a very long, long while before, but now it’s all the time.
This issue usually indicates that there is a keybind conflict in your game settings.
Please refer to our Help section in order to understand how to resolve this issue: Keybinds and Icons Recognition
If this information doesn’t help, please contact our Tech Support: https://miqobot.com/#supportHey Miqo, the work youve done is great! but i see one issue with almsot all the tanks, in dungeons they dont pop their defensive cool downs ever =O, like rampart and such, is anyone else having that issue in combat asssist? I also dont see holmgang, hallowed ground, superbolide and living dead being used either
As it was requested, defensive cooldowns are now classified as buffs.
If you want Miqobot to use them, please enable “Heals and buffs” setting.sorry to double post but to add to my orginial, ive realized bards rotation, battle cry isnt use either, is anyone else having these issues in combat assist?
It pops for me — though the circumstances seem to have changed from the previous builds. While previously Miqobot would pop it immediately, this new version seems to actually gauge how many enemies you are actually engaged with and how much damage you are taking (correct me if I am wrong).
Can confirm that battle voice is NOT being used…It’s got nothing to do with how many enemies are around you, its a pure DH buff. is there any way to get it back in the rotation where it used to be?
When I was playing the other day my BRD also didn’t use Battle Voice. Normally it was indeed used on cooldown, but now it didn’t use it. I turned ‘Heals and Buffs’ on in the settings, so I believe that solved it, because it started using it then. In the previous version I didn’t have to have that setting enabled in order for my BRD to use Battle Voice though.
Miqobot will use Battle Voice only when all your party members are in range of its effect.
In addition, as it was requested, Battle Voice is now classified as party buff.
If you want Miqobot to use it, please enable “Heals and buffs” setting. And I prefer not to, because if enabled, it keeps also spamming Peleton on Cooldown which looks kinda fishy to me when there is nowhere to run to.
If you don’t want Miqobot to use Peloton, you can simply remove it from your hotbar.
If you still want to be able to use it yourself, you can create a macro for this ability and hide it behind a different icon:/micon "Hissatsu: Gyoten" /ac "Peloton"
The more you see and read about then new combat update the more surprised i am about the quality … just amazing
Thank you for your feedback very much!
I usually never ask for any ETA, but I just find myself in a project that I need to schedule around a Miqobot future feature, the combat abilities queuing system.
What I’m looking for right now, is to understand where the combat abilities queuing is currently schedule, like is it for the update right after the first Trust dungeon update, or right after the update featuring all level 80 abilities, or even later during raid support updates?I’m not looking for an exact date, just something I could use to estimate if there’s a chance to see it released in a month, or two, or before the end of 2019, or before 5.2 in February. And I know that any rough estimation should only be taken as tentative, not as any promise, priorities can shift, etc.
I’m trying to understand if that queing feature is a challenging one to code, or a normal milestone in the continuous combat updates.
It’s the feature I’m waiting the most currently, and any rough estimate would help me to schedule my project accordingly.
Thank you
It is one of the features that will require another thorough redesign of the core combat system. Yes, it is quite challenging.
According to our calculations, it will result in +2% DPS. Therefore it’s not a priority when compared to implementing basic rotations, which constitute about 90% DPS.The first attempt to implement the GCD queueing system is planned after the next version release. But if this attempt is not successful within a reasonable time frame, it will be pushed further into the future. We will make no promises at this moment, but we will do our best.
When it comes to scheduling expectations, we always recommend to consider only the features available today. If the ETA is crucial to your project, then please do not expect the GCD queuing system to be released at all. We sincerely apologize, but at this stage of development we are not ready to take on additional responsibilities.
Rotations for Machinist, Dancer, Bard, Samurai, Monk and Red Mage seem to be much improved indeed. The work on Dancer being especially apparent. Eagerly awaiting the healer additions, great work so far!
Rotations are great by the way, tested on MCH and SAM. So far been top damage dealer of practically every content I’ve played so far, great work!
Thank you for your feedback very much!
There’s a new “bug” Ive found. Whenever I have miqo and ffxiv running in the backgroud and Im watching netflix, sometimes the audio will “leak” into my netflix stream. Like I can hear what’s going on in the game, usually seems to happen after finishing a dungeon or starting a new dungeon. It stops if I switch windows to the game and then back to netflix, but it’ll happen after a new dungeon starts. Seems to be a new issue as I’ve never noticed it before and I usually have miqo/ffxiv running in the background while watching netflix.
Miqobot doesn’t use code injections, so unfortunately we won’t be able to fix a bug in the game sound system.
If the game client reactivates the ingame sound randomly, we would recommend to mute it with the Master Volume setting.Hey – not sure if it’s a bug or not but last night I was running The Great Hunt (Extreme) with a group of people and was using MCH. Ran it about 10 times and on 3 of those occasions the combat assist seemed to just stop working right after the 2nd phase of the fight. I’m not sure whether the cutscene that transitions to the 2nd phase of the fight is what caused the issue but yea it seemed to just randomly start working again later on into the fight. I didn’t see any errors in the log but it definitely stopped immediately after the cutscene so maybe Miqo didn’t know that was over?
I can answer that one, it happens usually if you doing the ride on top for the active time event.
Yes, we have managed to reproduce this issue a while ago.
- It happens under very rare circumstances due to a bug in the game client, which allows the Cast Bar to remain active (albeit invisible) if it is interrupted by a cutscene, a loading screen, or in another non-standard way.
- In addition, another bug may occur randomly wherein the Cast Bar would indicate that it’s not interrupted and is still proceeding normally.
- When both of these bugs occur at the same time, it affects Miqobot’s ability to identify the Cast Bar correctly. She assumes that a cast is still in progress and therefore does not attempt to perform another action.
In order to recover from this problem, all you have to do is initiate the cast manually once. It doesn’t matter what ability to cast, even a simple Return will work. You can immediately interrupt it by moving.
The purpose of this action is to trigger the normal behavior of the Cast Bar, which will allow Miqobot to identify it properly once again. As this issue is extremely hard to reproduce, it will take some time for us to design a proper solution.
In the meantime, if you encounter this problem again please use the workaround described above.Only thing I would say on the mch side it be flamethrower doesn’t seem to be used but it doesn’t get interrupted either when you use it which is nice am guessing that’s intended, but yeah all mch needs is queen automaton and the bio blaster added some real nice work done.
Yes, Flamethrower is never triggered by Miqobot.
It requires precise positioning and complete movement suspension which is very unnatural for Machinist play stile. Considering that DPS gain is minor, Flamethrower action is left for the user to choose. But Miqobot will detect it and will not interrupt it.I have noticed for DNC in Sohm Al at least, as soon as Standard Step comes off cd, even with 30 seconds left of the buff, it immediately refreshes itself to the full duration of 60 seconds. Is this the expected and correct behavior?
Yes, this is the correct behavior.
Standard Step is an AoE ability of high potency and wide range. It must be used on cooldown to maximize efficiency, with a few rare exceptions.Has anyone played AST yet? Do cards work? draw properly? etc…
Healer rotations are in progress.
Please follow the main status thread: Shadowbringers – Miqobot StatusHey, here’s more info:
– No, my sch is lvl80. I was using it and miqo to cap out my tomes today, ran msq dungeon Castrum Meridium.
– I did all that prior to running the dungeon.
– I did Yes.Sch wasnt using a single dps move. No biolysis, no ruin, nothing.
Thank you for providing additional information.
Would you please verify your issue once again on a Striking Dummy? Please try selecting and pulling it with different Assist Mode options.
The Scholar rotation hasn’t changed much, so this issue is rather unexpected. Please try the previous version as well. Does it cast DPS spells with your character?
If it still doesn’t help, we would recommend to contact our Tech Support: https://miqobot.com/#supportAlso, it’d cast succor at anytime that it wasnt already on in the whole party. That behavior seems a bit bottish imo.
Preemptive shields behavior was implemented approximately 8 months ago, and this is the first time we receive this kind of feedback.
We would like to hear more opinions on this matter.Would it be safe to say the Dragoon rotation is complete up to level 80? The only new abilities are Coerthan Torment, High Jump, Stardiver, Nastrond and Raiden Thrust. The bot already uses all of them except Stardiver, which is fine because I’d rather use it manually.
No, we wouldn’t make such statement until we finish the testing properly. You can use Miqobot at level 80, but please do so at your own risk.
Any 71+ ability you discover in Miqobot rotations must be considered a bonus.Quick update on SCH 80 (I know this is WIP, but for our healers main out there that are anxious to know how Miqobot is doing…):
– This update is SO much better than the last. Aetherflow gauge is now being used properly and Miqobot no longer spams Energy Drain immediately. As a result, you can see the bot using Lustrate as it should
– Miqobot no longer is as Succor as happy as the last update, but will use Adloquium and Lustrate/Physick combo more often
– Excognition will now be used when there is a target below 40%-ish
– Of course, since this is still WIP, all faerie functions are still not implemented — but no sweat there, not too bad to juggle that into the rotation
– As it should (in my opinion), sacred soil is manual as well, but I don’t really see how Miqobot can auto that
– All situational buffs like Chain Strategem, Deployment Tactics, Dissipation, and Emergency Tactics are also not implemented, so pop them when needed
– DPS-wise, Miqobot functions perfectly and uses the correct spells in the correct situationsAll in all, amazing stuff so far! Even though I know healer roles are only half-implemented. 🙂
Thank you for your feedback very much.
why is the squadron dungeons just making my character stand there and do nothing but rotate the screen left and right? it don’t move my character, don’t select skills to be used against monsters when attacking, ONLY thing it does is tell my squadron party to attack.

If this information doesn’t help, please contact our Tech Support: https://miqobot.com/#supportI’ve run this a few times with no errors on several melee DPS classes, as well as WAR. Haven’t touched healing on it yet, but from what other people are saying the WIP rotations are turning out fairly nice. I’ll check and see how this works on MCH later.
Absolutely fantastic work, and thank you so much for continuing to produce this.
Thank you for your feedback very much.
The new update is working great for black mage (primarily the updated aoe rotation). Hopefully it should be easy to update to 80 as they only get 3 new abilities from 71-80 and the logic for handling them is basically already handled in other abilities:
despair: handle it like a single target flare to use up mana before going into ice
xenoglossy: same use as foul, just single target. Potentially also can use if it’s available and you would use scathe when moving.
umbral soul: use it out of combat to keep up umbral iceThank you for your contribution very much.
We will make no promises for level 80 support in this release, but we will try our best.I am curious if you’re planning on implementing the ‘No Blizzard 4 Opener’ that seems to be the current meta opener for level 80 black mage. I realize the miqo team is doing a lot of combat system reworking, so it’s definitely not a priority, was just curious.
Yes, precise opener customization will be implemented when we start working on endgame and raiding support.
Not sure what caused it, but it terminated miqo. Was running stone vigil when the error ocurred.
I’m receiving the following error while playing DRK:
Line 16613: Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded.
So far have had it pop up in a Stone Vigil squadron, Sohm Al scenario, and while in assist mode in the open world.
Have to second this error as well, been getting it randomly in those instances as mentioned above as well.
+1 for this error, had it happen just now on my Gunbreaker in a Sohm Al squadron scenario. It completed 1 run successfully, then on the first or second trash pull of the second run, it got that error and stopped.
Thank you for reporting. The hotfix is released in Miqobot v1.3.28.1 Alpha.
No complaints from Mch it works really well up til 80, but air anchor, hypercharge, wildfire all come to a stand still once you get 100 battery. Worked out its just Queen thats holding it back from being near endgame ready. Just have to add that one thing and it will be pretty much perfect! You already have air anchor which same button as hotshot, queen shouldn’t be to much of an ask since it uses same button and does same thing as turret?
Yes, we can try implementing the Automaton Queen blindly.
It is possible to datamine the icon for Miqobot to recognize and copy the ruleset over from the Rook Autoturret. If this is enough, we can push it into the next update.I realized there seems to be an issue with combat assist in Amarout. If you pause it and then resume it in the last phase of the dungeon (the last stretch before the final boss), Miqobot will stop working.

The only thing missing is Shadowbite and Apex Arrow (which is understandable because the rotation is only up till 70), but those are quite easy work in with Miqobot’s assist mode. 🙂
Shadowbite is implemented in this release. Could you please confirm that it’s not triggered under correct conditions?
Ran a dungeon on scholar with miqo combat assist, she used 0 dps actions, and seemed to spam succor w/e the tank dropped a bit on HP.
Would you please give us more information about your issue.
– Is this the first time you play Scholar in Shadowbringers?
– Have you removed outdated Arcanist abilities from your hotbar?
– Have you placed the new Scholar ones instead?“Healer rotations are in progress.”
Yes, healer rotations are not upgraded for Shadowbringers yet, but basic spells from the previous expansion should be functional.
Miqobot v1.3.28 (Alpha)
- All job rotations are redesigned to be compatible with Shadowbringers combat system.
- GNB 70 rotation is implemented.
- DNC 70 rotation is implemented.
- Tank rotations are upgraded for levels 1-70.
- DPS rotations are upgraded for levels 1-70.
- Healer rotations are in progress.
This is an early alpha version of the next combat update.
Please provide feedback and report issues. We will do our best to address as many problems as possible in the upcoming release.Miqobot v1.3.28 (Alpha)

Please provide feedback and report issues. We will do our best to address as many problems as possible in the upcoming release.I have two small requests to make:
I would like the bot to be able to check a collectable’s collectability rating, and just like rotations branching off of DE procs, you can have a rotation branching off based on the collectability rating.
I would also like the bot to be able to detect a gathering node bonus (like gathering attempts +1/+2) and adjust based on that.
Yes, these features are already planned for implementation.
They are not small, however, because they require creating new UI elements to support new conditions in the Gathering Rotations Designer. They are classified as Quality-of-Life improvements and will be implemented in the QoL feature pack.
Thank you for your request! This feature is already implemented.
Miqobot calculates the full amount of GP required for the rotation and avoids initiating it if there is not enough. If you’re asking about verifying GP for macros, then this is technically impossible because Miqobot doesn’t know which abilities correspond to the shortcuts you use in a macro. Rotations feature was implemented to address this particular problem, so please use the Rotations Designer instead.
Since answering Tech Support and forum questions occupy more than 50% of our working time, it is very hard to give estimates that would be both reliable and not depressing at the same time. So we intentionally underestimate our workload to keep our team motivated.
We are working non-stop and doing everything in our power to release new features as fast as possible.
And we are grateful for your patience and understanding.Stormblood abilities are already implemented.
They are direct upgrades from their Heavensward counterparts, since they cost the same amount of GP but result in improved performance. They do not require a special entry in the rotations designer. Whenever Miqobot detects an upgraded ability on your hotbar, she will automatically use it instead of an old one.
- Impulsive Appraisal II is used instead of Impulsive Appraisal.
- Unearth III is used instead of Unearth II.
- Leaf Turn III is used instead of Leaf Turn II.
- Bountiful Yield II is used instead of Bountiful Yield.
- Bountiful Harvest II is used instead of Bountiful Harvest.
In order to use Bountiful Yield II or Bountiful Harvest II, please select this entry:
x1 Yield +1
.
It will be automatically upgraded tox1 Yield +1,+2,+3
during rotation execution. Also a side note, do you have an ETA for the new changes to combat?
We are already preparing an early alpha version with the combat update, it will take just a couple more days.
Miqobot, Are you dev’ing and QA’ing solo? Do you need a hand? If you need some help QA’ing please reach out to me.
No, we are not solo, but answering Tech Support and forum questions takes up a significant portion of our working time.
Patience and understanding is the best help you can provide us.
Thank you very much!Yes, precise customization options will be available for all jobs as we move closer to endgame and raiding support. You will be able to setup your own rotations, but this system will take approximately twice longer to implement.
It will be done eventually, but we think that releasing an early beta system is better than releasing nothing at all. Please be patient, we are working non-stop.
