Personally, I only use Miqo for fishing (which I hate doing manually), crafting in large batches, the 3d radar, and occasionally for running trusts for loot and stuff. If you’re used to doing most things manually (or at least have done them enough to know how to do them) then you’ll be fine, although big/tedious stuff might be more annoying than usual.

Are you able to change presets mid fishing so if a spectral current comes it starts that one after you catch the next fish or would i have to stop the bot and restart each time?

Just a random note. All level 80 fish !!! has a dh of 1, so there is no reason to double hook. Would just throw on patience II and uncheck double hook. Making 2 fishing presets is ideal so you can ignore the !!’s on windswept cloud top. Don’t worry about running out of GP. From my understanding how the bot works with patience II is it doesn’t use it unless you are full gp or at least that is what I have observed. So you will always have gp to precision and powerful hookset. Make sure cordials are checked ofc.

That sounds like you don’t have the “Quit” Skill on your hotbar. So miqo cannot stop the fishing process.

Please keep in mind, however, that this is a request for decreased efficiency.
Fisher’s Intuition during Spectral Current lasts for 15 seconds and it takes 5-10 seconds for Miqobot to equip a different bait. So even if we implement this feature, it will be immediately broken by design because it will constantly waste the Intution buff.
If you wish to catch the blue fish, you have to equip the required bait as soon as Spectral Current appears and use it to catch Intuition prerequisites.

Personally, I created a list of all fish that aren’t used for anything, based on the GamerEscape wiki pages for them – including quests – so that I can clear out the crap and then manually decide on the rest. Since I grind fishing in Diadem a lot to get hi-cordials, I also have a list that’s only the Diadem fish. But if I just want everything in my inventory gone, I use the vowel method, since every single (english) item name in the game has at least one vowel in it.

I noticed that when using weather bait, it only lets you set it once per chapter per weather. However, for some cases, it is helpful to set it more than once, like for ocean fishing.
Also for ocean fishing, being able to set intuition bait for specific weather (spectral) would be nice. So my suggestion is to add setWeatherIntuitionBait.

Ok… See, I’m still confused here. I get to the end of the first 30 minutes of fishing and my toon just stands there with his rod out while Miqobot asks me why the teleport button isn’t available. I have Hook on my bar. I don’t know how to fix this. Suggestions?

Yes they are. Miqo always uses settings from the fishing tab. You can even change them while Miqo is running and she will adjust on the fly. Scenario is basically a script that selects presets, adjusts some settings, then clicks the start button. But its not a standalone program. Everything scenario does transfers to the fishing tab. If you change something manually when its already fishing then it will change the process.

And you can easily modify a scenario to do what you want. And you should because every player wants different things so you cant expect a scenario made by someone else to be an exact match to what you need.

Are the Fish Tab Settings tied to the Fishing Scenario?

For example, I am using the Ocean Fishing Scenario (trying to get me that shark). Does the presets on the Fishing tab affect the Scenario fishing?

I notice while I’m running the Ocean Fishing Scenario, it doesnt Mooch, precision hook or anything. I have a full GP bar at all times. It basically just fishes without doing any skills. Do I need to change the preset on the Fishing tab to Ocean Fishing for the Scenario to use those skills? or is the Ocean Fishing Scenario totally independent of the Fishing Tab options?

Yes, of course we have a plan for Endwalker.
But we are not very excited to announce it.

The reason is that it’s completely tentative and constantly changes with every piece of new information released by Square Enix.
In addition, we don’t think that it will satisfy the community, because all players need different features and they usually need them as soon as possible. But the main problem with Miqobot project is that we do not sell addons. It means that we don’t have multiple developers working on different features at the same time. We can only implement features one by one.
So no matter what we say or do, the majority of the community will be disappointed by our decisions.

If you understand this but still wish to know our preliminary plan anyway, then all right, we will post it.
Of course, we will read and analyze every comment and feedback. But please do not expect any miracles from us. We will continue working within the physical limits of our resourses.

The tentative plan for Endwalker is:

1. Approximately 2-3 weeks.
   Complete Miqobot downtime. No feature is functional in any form. Core modules are being reimplemented and adapted for the new game client.
2. Approximately 1-2 months (after previous update).
   Miqobot supports only Shadowbringers content. Fishing and Gathering work in new locations, but new abilities are not supported. Spearfishing is broken. Macro Crafting is functional. Crafting Solver is most likely broken.
   Squadron Dungeons and Trust Dungeons are supported up to level 80. Revamped combat rotations are not supported. Sage and Reaper jobs are not supported. Assist Mode usage is very limited.
   Gold Saucer features are most likely unaffected.
   The top priority during this period is implementing the necessary fixes for Combat rotations and restoring level 80 support for all jobs (including new ones).
   Implementation of minor Crafting Solver updates is possible.
3. Approximately 1-2 months (after previous update).
   Implementation of level 81 Trust Dungeon support.
   Implementation of the important Fishing, Gathering, and Crafting upgrades.
4. 3+ month onwards.
   Evaluation of project status. Reassessment of the community demand. Reprioritizing features and adjusting further development plans.
   Incremental progress towards level 90 content. Expect a full year for Miqobot to reach level 90.

(Chapter 2, Line 1) is: waypointPrecise(442) you could try deleteing all the ” Infinite Universal Diadem Scenario Botanist🌱, Mining⚒, and Fishing🎣” grids and scenarios and reimport it its possible miqobot is loading an out dated grid

if this is the case this should fix it.

Side Note: Please make sure Miqobot is updated to the latest version on your PC this could also fix the issue please let me know if the problem persists or gets resolved 😀

Here ya go, This is a slightly modded profile of another fish one I found on these forums a while back.

Also, I just got my mount, took me exactly 5 weeks, with only having fishing completed and none of the others, so you’ll be fine.
