Automatic pause for chat would be my top priority as well. I’d like to see it across the board. (In scenarios, fishing, crafting, etc.)

I saw a recent post where you mentioned custom rotations were a thing that you were looking at implementing in the future. It would be nice if during those rotations you allowed custom openers that we could design on our own, that would then lead into whatever rotation priority list you had for normal combat. Even if that required another button assignment (like the stop combat assist button, but a “start custom rotation”) Yes, lot of work there but it’s something I’d like to see personally.

Has anyone else noticed an increased frequency of crashes during the generate function? Today I’ve tried 3 different times to generate scenarios for cloth crafts and it crashed every time. Then I decided I do a leather run to see how it fared, the same result.

Is there a way to see what exactly you have listed as “QoL features” so we can know it’s already there? It seems like there is a lot on that list, but no way to know what.

Remember this though: quick ventures bring back the same stuff for a level 10 retainer with no gear as they do for a level 80 with max gear.

The bot itself won’t make you money if you don’t know how to make money without the bot. All the bot does is automate simple, repetitive tasks. If you want to make money you have to study the market, look at simple combines, materials, items. Find what’s moving, what’s not. Then don’t flood the market. Over-saturating will just drive the price down.

Don’t just look at logs, look at lumber. It really is a hit-or-miss gamble too. Precisely because everyone else is out there trying to make Gil as well.

My favorite class for Miqo is the bard. Now it’s not perfect. She’ll dot a mob that’s almost dead. But she keeps the songs up (boosting the group). It’s extremely mobile. She is quick on using their single target detrimental effect removal. Overall, just a pleasure to watch. You have to manually do one ability till the rotations are fixed, and you need to either hide peloton under a macro or tell her to ignore it, but by far my favorite class to use with her.

So in this case you would combine Chapter 1+2+3.

    Chapter 1: Gather A, Gather B, Gather C, repeatChapter(2)
    Chapter 2: Deliver collectibles
    Chapter 3: RepeatAll(999)

I don’t care at all about BLU support and if there was ever a vote on what to do next, I’d rather have TT.

    +1 to this.

You have a keybind collision somewhere. Like when Miqo pushes Alt-1 to trigger an icon and theres Alt-A somewhere else in your keybinds so when you hit A key it gets triggered too. I play gunbreaker quite a lot and theres no stutter stepping at all. I certainly had it in the past but i remember clearly that removing keybind collisions fixed it instantly.

Hrm, I’ll see what I can find. That’s helpful to know.

One thing I will mention and someone may have already said: classes that are busy with a lot of fast button mashing can have difficulty moving out of AEs.

    For instance: Gunbreaker vs Paladin

Paladin rotation is pretty simple with very few button presses at 80. Clicks per minute are low. When orange hits the ground, you can move using your keyboard pretty easily.

Gunbreaker has quite a few clicks per minute (dark knight as well). Often Miqo will fight you, trying to get in those off globals and such. So you’re hitting your A key and you stutter step, often not getting out of the AE that you would have cleared easily on another class.

A work around is to move with the mouse, but muscle memory sometimes makes that a newly learned ability.

The classes I’ve found that work best are Bard, Mch, SMN, (though summoner has the same stutter step at times), Dragoon, and paladin.

Miqo is also a very adequate healer. Though there are some strange things that happen when in an 8 man group and someone just out of range. She sometimes seems to forget she’s healing and you have to step in and push a button. (It could be that 15 seconds for moving thing, but I’m not sure.)

Out of the healers, I find that SCH works the best. AST can often have so much going on that it fights you though it heals well. White mage, I dunno it goes from Regen every single time someone moves to never regening.

Another issue I’ve noticed is that miqo will always start SCH with a group shield the very moment you load. So I turn her off every time I load.

This is the roadmap that I am aware of:

    – Level 80 Rotations.
    – Gathering updates.
    – Scenario Engine updates
    – Quality-of-Life updates

Level 80 rotations have my number 1 priority as would I imagine for mostly everyone.

I was unaware that the gathering had any issues at the moment?

Scenario Engine Update – if this involves subroutines or the ability to trigger a different chapter, I’m all for it being second.

I’d put triple triad before the quality of life updates with one caveat:

A pause button or ability to chat during crafting, gathering, etc would be the number one priority for me out of everything. Even over rotations at this point.

That’s my two cents. The biggest issue I have with miqo is if you are doing something you have to completely stop the script, just to respond to someone, then jump back into it.

Do you have the tombs of lore that are required to see them? (regional folklore etc)

Open miqbot, click Scenario, click the box with the ? in it. All the commands are there along with examples of how to implement them.

I’ve been doing all of those things with my scenario. The problem is specifically with ocean fishing. Intuition bait changes based on weather. So if you have the intuition bait for Spectral Weather equipped during normal weather, you won’t catch anything at all, and if you have it set to the normal intuition bait during spectral weather you’ll only catch the normal bait.
