You don’t want to draw extra attention to your account, which you will do if you report a suspected bot/rmt/hacker that is not doing anything obvious. Unless they are spamming ‘buy gold at gold.com’/walking on air because they are using fly hacks/something to that effect, you probably don’t want to report them.
Out of curiosity, why do you believe the reporting account is of interest?
While it’s good to revise the public grids, however, I wouldn’t jump to a conclusion and assume any player-reported bot will result in a ban/suspension.
A GM still has to catch you and/or spot something in the game logs that indicate automation.
I assume this thread was created after the recent ultimate raid drama where a JP streamer was suspended due to using unfair plugins/addons and was mass-reported by a group of players. That being said, be careful regardless and never run Miqo unattended and/or for an excessive period of time, that would flag unnatural player behavior.
this is a myriad of one time paid addons. This is very expensive.
The one I used on trial required like 2-3 paid extensions which was around over 100 euros combined if I recall. I have a good income and can spend it but even I think it’s a lot of money when you could get banned at any time. Spending 10 a month on Miqo (or how much it was) is more justified for me.

My experience from a few years ago was that it was super easy to get banned with Reborn and Minion even when I watched out for everything. With Miqo I never had that problem and I always watch the bot interacting. Not to mention that those other bots were a bit expensive back then, but that could have changed. Lots of plugins that do half the job of Miqo so I will wait for their return.
My experience with Mmominion was quite short. I started a new trial account and installed Minion to help me with MSQ part. My trial account got banned the next day. So i registered another account and bought the MSQ skip potion from Square Enix. Uninstalled Minion and forgot it ever existed.
Yeah imo Miqo is the superior product. Minion might get faster updates (cause it’s community driven with 3rd party addons/plugins) but Miqo implementation of things is generally more stable and safer from my experience.
I also was banned after careful attended use with Minion years ago (can’t say if its better now) and after using Miqo for like 3 years I never even got a warning or GM interaction.
I used minion before i found miqo. I tried it out again with trial on some modules for trust dungeons but I think miqo implementation is better. Minion got me banned on a account as well.
Frankly Miqo is a better bot and i uninstalled it (Minion) and will play manually until Miqo is back.

I’ve been away from the game for couple months but I gathered as much devs are in Ukraine, and I hope they’re safe.
Do we know the latest news, without glossing over these 10 pages that is.Nevermind, saw they posted in the 6.08 thread. Glad to hear they’re still around and presumed safe.

I’m currently writing up a quick guide for you guys, does anyone know if FFXIV has unique identifiers in screen shots? Just worried about posting those, or video for that matter, even if character names etc. are taken out.
I don’t have an answer but an alternative is snipping tool
