You must be logged in to view attached files.Legitimately nothing rude with what the poster said. Telling someone to use their eyes is not rude, not unless you’re overly sensitive.
I think it was rude, you don’t, all good.
If anybody spoke to me like that in real life, whether I’d asked a stupid question or not, I’d consider it rude, and I think many other people would too.
Not only that the Miqo team had clearly JUST said in the post above “Yes, revamped combat rotations will not be supported. You can see this information on the roadmap.” – if you read that and decide “I’m gonna ask if level90 rotations are supported regardless!” – then believe me, “use your eyes” was a kindness.
Miqo said it best in the post following mine.
“We apologize if seeing recurring questions causes you discomfort.”
I don’t mean to be rude but please use your eyes (or ears w/ text-to-speech)
You do mean to be rude.
Just link them back to the OP.I don’t understand why people are getting annoyed with people asking questions in this thread.
If you’ve read the 1st post, have all the information you need regarding the roadmap etc, and you don’t want to read other people questions, maybe don’t continue to read posts in this particular thread?I think you’ve been a very good boy. Maybe even the bestest boy.
Well done on getting all the memory pointers sorted so quickly too.
Obviously this could be construed as competition to Miqo, so I’d never encourage you share anything here and get banned.
But if you happened to have a finger slip and wanted to send the prog to ihidingfromu@(the letter after F)mail.com, then I’m sure the recipient would happily delete that email for you.
*wink wink nudge nudge*
Double hook is only really useful on the rarer fish, and the Gobbiemasks I think, so you’d have to babysit it and cut in on Miqo when they bite (very hard, Miqo will beat you to the hook).
Also aren’t the lakes only for leveling FSH, no turn-in fish to catch? (I might be wrong).
Also thanks 🙂

March 16, 2020 at 6:07 pm in reply to: What's the fastest way of getting points as a fisher in diadem with miqobot? #20858All I’ve been doing is going to the Calm Island, using Diadem Red Balloon bait, camping, then when it tells me the fish detect my presence I move to Blustery, catch one fish, then move back to Calm.
If it’s Umbral Flare when I go to Blustery I’ll pop Diadem Balloon Bug bait and hope for Cometfish. Then after back to Calm.
Not brilliant, but requires …. not a lot of input XD
February 23, 2020 at 10:25 am in reply to: Question About Trust Dungeons (Swear It's not WHEN IS IT COMING?!?!) #20276Don’t request features, or you’ll be putting pressure on the Miqo team and that is unnaceptable (even though Miqo has stated this is how they prioritise the development of new features).
If you can’t help yourself and simply have to make a suggestion, or request a feature, make sure that request is swamped with praise for the Miqo team to the point that by the time people have finished reading the praise they will have completely forgotten you made a request in the first place.
They will not forget though. Requests are unnacceptable.
Miqo is a real Miqote. Do not upset her.
I’m assuming you’re talking about my post, and if so I will respectfully disagree.
I was assertive, not aggressive. I was critical, in what I deemed to be constructive manner.
I do however realise that that is subjective, and some could well have read aggression into my post.
It was just one post though.
If my post has led to this thread, and I’m really hoping it hasn’t, then that quite frankly is ridiculous.
This post can also be read in an aggressive tone, but I can assure you it is not being written in one. I’m sitting here with a cup of tea and a perplexed expression on my face.
Not going to lie, I kind of rolled my eyes when I saw your first post in this thread. After having read the topic you created the other day then reading your post here, I wondered if it was the same person because it had the same negative connotation attached to the whole tone of the post, and yep, it was. I don’t think your original topic or either of the posts you’ve made in here are overly aggressive, but I think you’re downplaying them just a tad too much. They aren’t overly aggressive, however nor are they simple “assertive”.
I really don’t think the Miqo team have anything to worry about.
I’m not downplaying anything. The words I wrote are there for all to see. It was a critical post, hence it was negative.
I leveled a criticism at the messaging surrounding this product, and have since then been defending myself. I cannot believe the furor this seems to have generated.
Here’s another criticism for you Miqo. Companies normally make some sort of attempt to moderate their own forums and prevent the victimisation of their customers on them.
At no point, other than direct responses to posts, have I directly or personally insulted anybody, and I’ve also tried to be polite and civil while defending myself.
I’d dread to see what would happen in this forum if a genuine troll happened upon it. They’d have a field day.

I’m sorry. I’m just going to have to be that guy.
This forum has probably the nicest, most supportive, most understanding, most appreciative customers of any forum I have ever seen.
Even when people are criticising your product they take the time to complement the work you do, have done, and the product you’ve released.
The “increasing aggression” you mention must be happening in private messages because I certainly don’t see much evidence of it in these forums. Most of the people who frequent this forum leap to your defence at the slightest perceived insult.
Many product forums are full of vitriolic posts regarding issues, because lets face it, most people only post something when they’ve got something negative to say. This place is the exact opposite, you have literally the nicest customers ever (present poster excepted).
You decided to sell a product, and created forums surrounding that product, everything you mentioned comes with the territory, but in my opinion you are extremely lucky, I have no idea where you plucked these guys from, but you should consider yourself fortunate. I have no idea what percentage of your customers come to these forums, but the ones that do are extremely engaged, helpful, and actively improve your product.
I agree with the comments about patch downtime, and the increased forum activity that’s generated, but again, that comes with the territory.
Maybe it’s like some posters have said, this is the best product on the market, so possibly people are scared they might lose it and so feel the need to be overly protective and positive?
My point is, you should appreciate it. I disagree with most (obviously I can’t disagree with your stated aims and goals) of your post. I know I’m going to take a lot of flak for this opinion, but I’ll be kind of happy about that, because it will prove my point 🙂
Edit 1: Flak doesn’t have a ‘c’ in it :S
