SE always releases identical patches around the same date with a 2-3 weeks margin, and 4.31 was released June 5, so you can expect 5.31 to release around the same date, +- 2-3 weeks.

It doesn’t really hurt to wait another 4 weeks and see how you guys progressed, there will still be about a month left by then to individually decide what we do with mats and achievements.

    Thanks for the heads up.

SE can remove Phase 2 mats/turn in without voiding the mount you mentioned, because that mount is not tied to Phase 2 specific achievements.

There’s achievements for Phase 2, and there’s global achievements.
It’s made so that you should aim for 25% completion of global achievements for each phase, to finish them during 5.51.

For the global ones, you should be able to continue working on them with 5.31 Phase 3 new mats, 5.41 Phase 4 new mats, and 5.51 Final phase, and that final phase might remain there forever, allowing anyone to get those global achievements even during upcoming expansion.

But for each phase, they’re making specific achievements, one per DoH/DoL class so far for phase 2, and they’re all identified with a green icon and a description mentioning Phase 2.

For the crafting ones, I believe it’s a bit less than 48h of non stop crafting, so ideally if Miqobot release a crafting solver update for that before June, we could still get those achievements done, assuming people have all their mats ready.

These achievements don’t require perfect quality turn in also, so even if the solver is not completely optimised to its best potential, it would still be immensely useful.

Did SE said something about those Phase 2 mats and Phase 2 craft turn in, like if they were going to remove them in 5.31, and therefore all achievements tied to them would become unachievable?

There’s only about 2 month left before 5.31, so I get your concerns.

They’re working on a queuing system for GCDs:

It is one of the features that will require another thorough redesign of the core combat system. Yes, it is quite challenging.
According to our calculations, it will result in +2% DPS. Therefore it’s not a priority when compared to implementing basic rotations, which constitute about 90% DPS.

The first attempt to implement the GCD queueing system is planned after the next version release. But if this attempt is not successful within a reasonable time frame, it will be pushed further into the future. We will make no promises at this moment, but we will do our best.

It’s not implemented already also because it’s not very useful in FFXIV, that’s not how you get useful EXP, it’s a pure waste of time for that, it’s not how the game was designed, as of for loot from open world mobs, they’re crafting mats that you can easily get by sending your retainers farming them for you (Discipline of War/Magic retainers).

If you want EXP, unlock Squadron and later Trust, and Miqobot will use them to level entirely your jobs for you, with no assistance on your part.

By using Squadron you’ll get tons of gear that you will trade at your Grand Company for Seals, and with those you’ll buy a mountain of Retainer coins, allowing you to send them endlessly farming crafting mats from mobs for you.

Then you’ll understand that open world monster grind is not really useful at all.

While they don’t have any anti-cheat, they maybe monitor some specific activities, and if they do, it’s quite easy for them to notice who ran 24h non stop of Gold Saucer mini-games, or Trust, or Gathering, etc.

That’s why to stay on the safe side, it is advised to change activities every hour, and to disconnect for at least 8 hours per day.

I understand Miqo want to play the safe card etc…

But damn, the truth is, you can currently craft any level 80 3 stars recipes, provided you have best gear, close to max CP, enough cheap melds, food (no need syrup), and start with about 7000 quality points, with that Miqo never ever fail and you get 100% HQ, and the solver never worked that fast, and the crafting never had so few steps and never been so quick, you can get guaranteed 31 crafts under 40min food buff.

I understand Miqo knows the potential of her solver once polished, and maybe don’t like it not completely optimised, but damn guys, I’m glad I didn’t listen Miqo and give the solver its chance, it’s just completely usable.
At this point there’s always someone coming in and telling me it’s a scandal that I’m using a couple of HQ mats for a 3 stars recipe, blablabla, so what the heck do I do with all the HQ mats Miqo is getting me anyway, I’m sorry but they worth nothing and I’m gonna use them where they’re meant to serve.

I just can’t wait to see the solver upgraded for Ishgard Restoration, it’s like it was meant for those special annoying recipes, and that endless grind.

Hey I apologize if this was asked or if it’s already implemented. Is there a way to disable certain skills in combat assist mode?

Miqobot gave us a macro method to do that live, so that you can temporarily remove some skills while Miqobot is still fighting, and put them back still while she’s fighting, without interrupting anything.

Here is the example Miqobot made for disabling AoE temporarily for BRD through an in-game macro:

    /hotbar remove 9 1
    /hotbar remove 9 2
    /hotbar remove 9 3

To re-enable AoE and put back the skills on the hotbar, make a second macro:

    /hotbar action "Quick Nock" 9 1
    /hotbar action "Rain of Death" 9 2
    /hotbar action "Shadowbite" 9 3

This example assumes that those AoE abilities are placed on hotbar 9 in slots 1 / 2 / 3 respectively, and that you use English version of the game, you will have to make adjustments for your case.

I’m gonna add one thing to what people already said, I’ve been using Miqobot almost every day since I think 4 years now, and I think that you might have guessed something when you said:“Honestly i dont wanna worry about making lots of coding and all that and break my head to make stuff work, but maybe if i like it i will end up enjoying doing these types of things”

I think, that you might find Miqobot fun to manage, you didn’t like the FFXIV grinds with its gathering, you might like to create grids, and set up scenarios so that Miqobot does the grinding, while you have a bit of fun managing it.

Other than that, if you follow some common sense rules, if you always make sure to be very discreet, and keep an eye on the bot, your account won’t be put into jeopardy.

You must not have look often enough then. And I have reasons to think many skipped creating a forum account, when it comes to the protection of their account and identity, lots are very cautious, for good reasons.

You said your server name, your random alias is maybe not as random as it looks, as it can tell you’re a Lalafell, and you avatar might tell you like riding the Korpokkur Colossus mount, and/or hang around with the Korpokkur Kid minion…

When Miqobot is down for an update because of a new patch, you can see in forum stats “Members active within the past 24 hours” around a thousand of Miqobot forum users (out of 7000) lurking the forum for any news, and not all Miqobot users bothered creating a forum account (to protect themselves), so I think that shows pretty well how common are Miqobot users 😉

I was thinking the same thing since a couple of month, that after releasing the Holminster Trust, it would be a great idea to release a level 80 one first, both would serve two different purposes and would be quite complementary.

I know it’s not ideal from your development plans, you like to keep everything sync up, in a logic manner, to get the best out of them, new level-new action-new dungeon, but if somehow it’s possible to get a level 80 one sooner, I support this idea as well, considering how useful it could be.

I know, I’m more of getting the most popular jobs done before the rest of the collection, and some useful dungeons done before the rest of them, but I’m not the one who have to work and code for this, so I can understand that’s it’s not your way to tackle things, for specific reasons.

From a purely business perspective, I’m convinced not syncing up everything to get some things out sooner even if not perfectly optimized at first, would be better, but here we can feel it’s more a balance between passion and business, pros and cons.

    Here’s my take on it.

I think it would be a real waste of resources, the ratio usefulness/dev time is heavily unbalanced.

Too often I see request like this one, where the poster didn’t put enough thoughts into it, regarding the difficulty to implement and the solutions that already exist to overcome it.
That’s why the Miqobot devs then diplomatically send us cues about feasibility and utility.

So here’s the truth, with Miqobot you can become Gillionnaire easily, lots of us here became Gil billionaires, and you really don’t need that kind of money in the game, because with Miqobot you’re self sufficient, and the only things left to buy are items that comes from RNG, such as some minions, mounts, primal crafting items, songs, maps items, etc.
And with Miqobot you can easily make enough money to buy all of them regularly.

So yeah, you’ll get undercut, often, but you need to see beyond that, you need to realize that it doesn’t matter, your stuff will sell eventually, and with Miqobot you’ll never run out of stuff to sell.

So, don’t spend time in the undercutting war, diversify yourself, be on several markets at the same time, don’t bet on one item only, check your prices no more than twice a day, be patient, realize that’s it’s ok to lose some sells to undercutters, yours will sell too.
