One thing I have figured out, and it was why the rotation wasn’t working and worth putting in notes, was I was using ‘enable quick gathering’ and this of course stops the action from being used. Still doesn’t alter the fundamental of my question, how do I change to skills I want using the grid you have very kindly shared? Just changing it in skills doesnt seem to work for me.

That’s my point, I haven’t a clue how to set my own rotation, normally I would just select from skills and it would change to what I wanted, but with this grid or setup it make no difference. I guess my real question is how, specifically, do I stop it waiting for certain conditions?

Question about the gathering rotation, I think its set as ‘DT Rotation’ but it never uses any skills, even when I set it to macro or another skills such as ‘Yield +2’ for example, any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Thanks yesbot, will removing those actions off the hotbar mean miqo will still ‘look’ for them therefore delay things or simply does it use what tools it has?

I have used the macro for removal of hotbar icons before for crafting, very cool and saves a lot of time.

Just a tip I found for desynthing a lot of different types of fish. If you write in the box on the lower left of the desynth tab, the letter a, then b, then c, d,e,f etc, the way miqobot works it scans the name and if the item in your desynth window has one of ths letters in it it will go ahead an desynth. Just check whats in the desynth windows first to make sure there aren’t any items you don’t want desynthing.

So correct me if I’m wrong, but does Miqobot prefer that my most common actions are 1 through to =? Does CTRL+1 to CTRL+= create a delay? Should I only put the 12 most used actions set on 1 to = and then the next 12 most common actions CTRL+1 – CTRL+=?

Thank you I got it working, was just confusing about whether to save the gathering grid or save the scenario itself, also I edited the repair. From what I’ve learnt doing it, you have to actually run the scenario number, then finish, then go to gathering and make the skills macro changes. Also I didn’t thank the creator for this scenario – Thanks!

I would rather see Miqobot having all time and resources spent on Combat Assist, Trust an crafting/gathering. I make enough gil and just chilling out with the MB is enough, your stuff will sell!

I know this is a bit of a necro-post so I am sorry for that, but I have been trying my best to get this to work with no success. I understand the sendkey function and how it works but when running something similar above it seems to ‘skip’ various parts (seem random), so instead of selecting a particular item it will move left and it doesn’t seem to register properly. This confuses me as I have created buying items scenarios with no problem so I’m not sure. As this post is nearly six months do any of you clever people out there know a solution or can put a few minutes into trying yourself? I still think transmuting is worth it for generating gil or tier VII / VIII materia for crafting/gathering which still sells well. I tend to purchase from MB when prices are cheaper, hoard and then sell when prices are high (after a patch or something), so it is worthwhile. It just takes so long to to manually. I had set up a macro for my KB to find a solution but that’s messed up now so I wanted a miqo solution!
