Also, if you run Sohm Al, that’s a perpetuum mobile. You get more Grand Company Seals than you spend for doing the dungeon.

    A few protips:

    1. The most recent combat pots (e.g. Grade 4 Tincture of Strength) for the stats Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence always sell. And they sell pretty fast, especially if you offer them in small stacks of 10 or so. That makes the price for the small stacks around 10-50k, which people are more willing to buy than a 99 stack that costs 100-500k

    2. Go for diversity. Instead of only crafting an entire 999 stack of the same pot, which you keep offering, craft all most recent pots. Also craft some buff food. And some of the highest level craftable gear. Also sell a bit of the aethersand needed in those recipes (Levinstrike Aethersand). The more different items you offer, the more stuff you’re potentially selling.

Has no impact on Miqobot. I use QuickLauncher since it was created, and I’ve even suggested people to use it, because some of the plugins even assist on botting safer (like Peeping Tom).

Like Lyfox said, Minigames are best, hands down. I’ve bred a perfect racing chocobo with absolutely peak level stats for a super sprint build, and it’s still more efficient to let Miqo grind out on a limb.

I’m not sure if I understood you correctly, but there is a feature planned as part of the upcoming QoL upgrade, to check gathering nodes for their gathering bonuses and use certain skills when conditions are met (like use the increased yield +2 skill when gathering attempts +2 bonus is active)

And even if you don’t have your license information anymore, Miqobot’s tech support will be able to help you out, as long as you still have the e-mail from which you bought Miqobot.

I actively use Miqobot on my 5 years old account I put all my love into. I’ve been active the entire time, done every event, bought almost everything from the mogstation and I’m extremely attached to my account.

Yet, I do not worry at all about using Miqobot, because if you’re not absolutely reckless you’re not going to get any problems.
I have gotten a ban once, and that was because I was letting Miqobot run unattended for an entire week in the gold saucer during a make it rain event, and all I got was a 3-day-ban.
After that I also received another 3-day-ban during the Ungarmax Exploit banwave (so no increase in ban-time).

Since then nothing has ever happened, and I’m simply using Miqobot kinda conscious. If you don’t have any offenses on your account, you have even less to worry by using it, because even if you use it so recklessly that you’re getting caught, you’re most likely not losing your account. A several days ban is the most you would get, even if you were caught.

takes the Miqo team easily two months of development, devoted completely to that development, before it gets implemented. So no, they haven’t made one for every dungeon. With a properly written scenario, Miqo can “infin

I guess you are referring to leveling dungeons starting from level 70 (since there are multiple for lower levels).
The community here at the Miqobot forums has suggested, that there only needs to be 2 leveling dungeons, since based on calculations done by the people on the official subreddit the dungeons “Dohn Mheg” and “Malikah’s Well” are less exp-time efficient than both Holminster Switch and Qitana Ravel, and it would be a waste of resources making Miqobot trust dungeons for those, and people really wished for a level 80 dungeon, so that’s the third one made.

I have leveled all jobs to 80 with Miqobot and I can say that Holminster Switch & Qitana Ravel are enough to level a job to 80 in a few days.

First of all, despite how those minigames are commonly called, the miner and botanist minigames have nothing to do with the miner and botanist jobs in the game at all, except that the way you play those minigames is how you gathered materials from nodes with those jobs back in FFXIV 1.X, before the game was completely remade in 2012/2013.

You do not need to have miner or botanist leveled at all to play these games, nor do you gain any advantage by leveling them.

Also, there is nothing to level at those minigames. You just go there, start the bot and Miqo will do the rest. The different levels of the minigame only change how much MGP you can win, though the higher the difficulty, the harder it gets to win at all. From my experience, playing it at the medium difficulty earned me the most MGP/hour so far, so I recommend choosing that at any time.

Already started the same discussion in another thread:

Also, Libra would disagree on this:

I dont really have to much of an opinion on the healers only that you should never pair Alphinaud with Alisaie or you can expect to die

In my opinion the best and most efficient setup is:

When playing as a Tank. Alphinaud, Alisaie, Y’shtola.
When playing as a Healer. G’raha, Y’shtola, Alisaie.
When playing as Melee DPS. G’raha, Alphinaud, Alisaie.

    Also:

Alphinaud is hands down the best healer, potent shields and a habit of spamming Succor means you have less damage to worry about, especially if you like to keep close to the enemies. Urianger is better for ranged simply because you don’t have to worry about getting hit but, personally the cards do not make up for the somewhat lackluster AI by comparison. I’ve never wiped in a trust, but Urianger has died far more often than Alphinaud…maybe he is too focused on the particle effect of Malefic.

Gonna add my opinion on the points mentioned in the first post, as a Miqobot user (not as a moderator, but with some knowledge about how stuff works):

    1. Completely agree. In my opinion Crafting & Gathering support is the main selling point of Miqobot, as it does these tasks like no other bot. It’s the feature I have always used the most, by far, and all the other features are more like icing on the cake.

    2. Based on how I perceived Miqo development, I don’t see this happening any faster as it did in this expansion. Also, I don’t think it is actually required to do even level 80 trust dungeons (Heck, you could probably clear a level 80 trust dungeon just by pressing 1 button, though it would take much much longer).

    3. I partly agree. Leveling shouldn’t be a priority, since this can already be done with the most recent dungeon. When 6.0 releases I’m quite sure you’ll be able to level all your jobs to lvl 90 with just The Heroes’ Gauntlet. Maaaaybe the level 81 dungeon would be a nice addition as well to speed things up, but I don’t think we need another mid-level dungeon (lvl 85 dungeon) next time, as the addition of Qitana Ravel wasn’t needed that desperately and is just a really nice-to-have feature that wasn’t really required to level jobs to 80 (I’ve leveled most of my jobs with only Holminster Switch and it was no problem).

Tomestone farming on the other hand, there I absolutely agree. Farming weekly tomestones is the most annoying combat thing in my opinion, which is why I would love to see this feature being released earlier as well, even if it is without max level rotations support. As I said, I’m pretty sure, that once combat is released (and maybe the first dungeon is supported), implementing the level 90 dungeon via Trust (if that feature still exists then) would be amazing, even with just level 80 rotations.

    4. Yeah, NPC shop support would be convenient, but it’s actually more work than you might think. Miqo needs to implement every NPC window separately and implementing NPC shop support would take a couple of weeks to program, if I recall correctly. Would be nice to have, but not that necessary, as it can already be emulated via scenarios.

    5. I would call that first world problems. I wouldn’t oppose a cleaner UI and I am very much against this “I prefer windows 95 styled UI’s like Teamspeak over Discord’s modern UI” mentality, but I do think that Miqobot doesn’t really “need” this.

No. There will be an announcement, when MNK rotation is fixed.

Yes, it runs on the global client in any language (Japanese, English, German and French).

However, it does not run on the Chinese and Korean client, as far as I know, because these are entirely separate clients with different coding (official game content gets released on a different schedule there as well, e.g. Ultimate Coil was released a year or so later in China).
To run it on those two other clients Miqobot would have to make an entirely separate version, which would require to rebuild everything from scratch once again.

But for the global version, everything works fine 😉

Alternatively you can also rebind the key in-game and then change it in the scenario 🙂

Is it possible to create somethings to gather only timed nodes ? (Go to one, gather, teleport to another one, gather, … ) like a script ?

Yes, that’s the scenario scripting part of Miqobot, and there are already several scenarios for exactly this in the Index: Scenarios thread listed. Of course you are very welcome to write your own scenarios and share them with the community. Also, this thread contains a lot of information on what you can do with the scenario engine.

I also want to using scenarios for crafting more than one item and using an IG macro for craft in HQ at 100%. Is it possible ?

Yes, you can do that. However, Miqobot has an integrated crafting solver, that also crafts any item in the game at HQ 100% that can be HQ’ed 100%. It uses hyperdimensional solution maps to solve crafting recipes and thinks ahead of all possible crafting conditions to use skills on a case-by-case scenario.

In game macros are usually faster at crafting than Miqobot’s crafting solver, but for the current crafting recipes there are no 100% HQ macros, without having to use HQ mats in the first place, so for convenience it’s more efficient to use the solver, or a combination of macros + the solver.
