I would like to request a pause button which stops the scenario a short while to , for example chat with your gild mates.

It’s already planned for I think the next upgrade.

Hmm… I’m so curious. Can we get a % mark about how far the battle system / the next version of Miqobot is like we had with the update 4.2 here?:

The upgrade process is at 70% mark. It will take 24 hours more to complete.
Thank you for your understanding very much!

I’m waiting so much for this as I want to level my 3 leftover jobs to 50 via squad dungeons since I can’t get the squad dungeon scenario from ExarchCoercer to work properly. My character gets stuck, doesn’t use his rotation properly, then the rotation doesn’t work so good, gets killed by the boss all the time, etc. (the scenario seems to not work very well with melee/healer classes).

Eh, tbh I just ran 2-3 different type of grids every night when I went to sleep, didn’t see any PM’s or emotes because I don’t really check my chat logs when I wake up. Was playing fine until I got logged out and couldn’t log back in so checked my email and boom saw it.

Yup, this is exactly what you should should not do rather than anything else and the same thing I did. Doing this is like holding up a sign saying “I am botting.”.

Well, exactly this happened to me too, when I was farming MGP during the make it rain event last year, just before Stormblood. The general rule is: Never leave the bot unattended. There only needs to be one player suspicious of you and report you, then a GM will investigate (and try to contact you) and and throw out the Banhammer hat your head.

Your account should be back about 3 days later. Mine got a 3 day suspension starting at 0 AM the next day I got the E-Mail, starting instantly when they send it. When it comes to botting they don’t send out warnings or something. It’s an insta 3-day ban without mercy. The next ban would propably be a week or so and after that your account is permanently gone for good. I’m not risking this anymore either.
Take it as a lesson and never leave the bot unattended. I also had to learn this the hard way.

You can write a scenario for that yourself with the bot. Shouldn’t be that hard, but it’s basically the same as writing a keyboard macro for a programmable keyboard.

Hmmm… I’ve got a little issue. Maybe someone knows the solution.

I’m playing the game in German and I also got the whole scenario working besides one thing:
At one point the scenario it should craft worsted yarn, which is called Kammgarn in German.
The problem now is, that when Miqo wants to search for “Kammgarn” it finds 2 items: Kammgarn and Kammgarnteppich (combed wool rug) and the problem is, that this rug is the first item in the search results list while the yarn is the second one and Miqo refuses to craft the yarn because it wants to craft the first item it finds in the list instead of looking for a specific recipe name.

EDIT: Seems like this problem happens with several items. For example when it should search for Gazelleskin the first item in the search list that appears is not Gazelleskin, but the Molybdenum Armguards of Maiming because in the German version they’re called Gazelleskin Armguards of Maiming (translated), which is an armorer recipe and appears above the leatherworker stuff.

EDIT 2: Oh, I just saw that Carl Arbogast already wrote the solution for this problem a page ago. Thanks Carl 🙂

Anyone got an idea for a workaround?

I did said “one of the best”, not the best.

To my eyes it is one of the best, because it works towards 3 very long achievements, that can only be done in a minimum of 188 days, half a year, so you better do 2 birds one stone and get started as soon as you can if that’s also your goal.
Those achievements were so annoying, I started them in 1.0, 7 years ago, and only completed them when Lyfox released his Scenario Generator, because suddenly they were not a pain in the ass any more.

Well, yeah. If you’re aiming for those achievements it’s certainly better to kill 2 birds with one stone. Also the GC it nets are great too. Just wanted to mention this method I stated earlier, since it’s the way to go to cap your GC seals in no time without a daily limit.

One of the best method to farm GC seals is the daily deliveries of DoH and DoL.

Hmmm… I’m not so sure. In my personal opinion there is a much faster and more effective method to farm a retardedly high amount of GC seals much easier and less complicated. I don’t remember it precisely but I think it nets around 30.000-40.000 GC seals per eorzea day:

    1. Run the red gathering scrips farming scenario and trade in the collectibles
    2. Buy Rowena’s Token (Blue Gatherers’ Scrip) in Idyllshire (Red Scrips Level 58 on the misc. page)
    3. Trade those for Landmaster’s Rings. They’re the cheapest, costing only 2 tokens instead of 3 and each of them nets you over 1k GC seals

It’s ridiculous how fast you can fill your cap that way.

Man, that sucks really bad, but doesn’t every server have trolls like that? And for Stormblood Hunts, can’t you just let them die? On my server we have a big linkshell organized by the biggest FCs who keep a big recorded blacklist for trolls and griefers who steal from FCs. When those people show up, everyone knows who they are and they are dealt with caution/appropriate sanctions, like in hunts prepullers are let die.

There are two people who respond to questions, people who give answers, and apparently people who contribute nothing but their unwanted opinion and insults like a spoiled child.

The problem is, that people ask the same question over and over and over and over again. To make this clear now:
Since the last post from Miqo on stage 2 where it was clearly stated “We don’t have an ETA yet” it was asked five times in the last few pages of this thread and twelve threads were opened (which is a lot in such a small community) asking the same 3 questions over and over again:
    – When do we get spearfishing?
    – Why aren’t Stormblood crafter skills not used in the solver?
    – Do we have an ETA on Stage 2
This gets annoying to some people who would rather answer really unanswered questions, especially since you basically just have to type “stage 2” in the search bar on top of the forums and look out for posts from the admin to answer your question.
I’d say the spoiled children whose opinion is unwanted and questions contribute nothing are those who keep asking “Mommy, are we there soon?” every 5 minutes in the car on a trip.

I like to rant here and there when something annoys me, but yeah, I’m on the same page. And now that you mentioned it, I gotta refine my ephermal scenario. Just ran it again yesterday and I’m definitely not pleased with the clunky movement paths.

I’m already at that point, that the main reason why I’m looking forward to stage 2 is, that people will stop asking about it x_x

That’s nice to hear. I thought Stage 2 would not release prior to patch 4.1 which will be released early october, but it’s really nice to have it so soon anyway :>

Ah okay, didn’t know that. Well, I mainly play games like Warframe or Diablo 3 or Star Citizen at the same time, so I have no reference 😛

Well, I only Alt+Tab out of FFXIV and let it run in the background. In my opinion there’s no need to actually minimize it, since as long as it is not your main active tab it will limit the FPS with the option you mentioned.

Also, to answer your last question: You can minimize windows in Windows 10 by holding the Windows Key and pressing the Down Arrow Key. Should work in FFXIV borderless window too.
