Take one of these:
Immortal Flames
Marlstrom
Twin AdderChange the dungeon in the scenario to Sohm Al, go to your Grand Company, hit Start and watch the two Movies Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann – Gurren-hen and Lagann-hen. Then your tomes should be capped.
Bard works flawlessy besides refulgent arrow
Red Mage already works 100% even with his level 70 spell. It uses its whole 70 kit and you could propably already use assist mode for savage raids with RDM.
Is that a good way to level crafters fast?
The path of minimal effort beats the fastest for me.
As already said by several people: It is not fast, it is easy and it is done automatically with zero effort.
I simply farmed Stone Vigil 3x over night and got my 100 moogle tomestones. Never had any problems with dying or something, but that’s propably because I didn’t neglect my squadron and got them all to max level for almost a year already.
Ran the squad dungeon with myself as warrior, a healer, an archer and an arcanist. Had no problems ever, clear time was always around 20ish minutes and I’m done with the event already, since I already had all the other stuff. The fastest way to get moogle tomestones however is without Miqo: Create a group of 4 players via PF, all 4 as blue mage and spam Tam Tara Deepcroft. That’s 1 tomestone every 3’ish minutes => ~20 tomestones per hour
Hmmmmmmm… interesting, thank you! Now I wonder: can Miqo farm these quests in its current state, or we have to wait for combat etc features to be released for that?
As stated before, the Namazu quests are pure crafter/gatherer quests with no combat at all. It’s a beast tribe purely made for crafters and gatherers.
The problem with Miqo and these quests is, that you can take up to 3 quests from a large random pool of quests and Miqo has no way of recognizing which quest is currently active. The quests usually consist of taking the quest, going to a certain NPC, getting free crafting mats, crafting that item either in normal quality or HQ and then delivering it to another NPC. For gatherers instead it’s gathering certain items and if it’s gathering or crafting only depends on the job you take the quest with.
It’s about 10 minutes of daily work to do all 3 Namazu beast tribe quests.Yea, I’ve considered this idea, but the problem is: I don’t have many enough weeks 🙁 I want to learn everything about crafting and gathering before ShB is released
Well okay, that’s true. However, do it anyway. Just my advice. I’ll summarize it for you so you can see, that it really is an easy method of getting extra scrips just for a little speed boost. Custom deliveries work the following:
You can deliver up to 12 collectable items per week to CD NPCs. Every NPC will accept up to 6 items per week, so you’re delivering to two NPCs per week.
The items you have to deliver are either gathered as collectables or crafted as collectables and they’re all piss easy to get (like you can craft a perfect item with just this short sequence) and you can craft all of them with every crafter.
The materials to craft these items are sold from an NPC usually about 20m away from the custom delivery NPC and they are dirt cheap (usually around 150-300gil per material and the largest amount you need for crafting an item is 4x the same item).
While you are leveling up your CD NPCs (they have 5 levels if I remember correctly), you can deliver the same item 3x, then the NPC levels up and wants a different item. Once they’re max level you can deliver the same item 6x every week and it changes the item on a weekly basis. That’s it.
So with that in mind, it’s just an additional yellow scrips gain, you should utilize.Out of curiosity: why would crafter need beast tribe quests? I mean, yes, there are beast tribe housing items, but they are available by default, without any questing?
There are several reasons, why there are the Ixali-, Moogle- and Namazu-Beast-Tribes for crafters.
1. It is an alternative way for crafters to level, because completing their daily quest rewards quite a lot of exp at close to zero cost of gil (unlike levequests, where you have to buy mats, if you can’t gather them yourself).
2. They award individual beast tribe currencies, which are there to buy certain items like mounts, glamour and materials that might be a bit tedious to get.
3. To craft the currently best crafter equipment you need Stormsap, which is a material, which you can get only from two sources. The first being desynthesis of yellow scrips crafter gear (and you need desynthesis level 300+ do desynth them) and the second is buying from a Namazu NPC with the currency awarded from the Namazu beast tribe quests. There are no other sources.
Master recipes are pretty difficult to do manually and the macros used for those are usually somewhere in the 50 skill sequences long, which is where Miqo really shines.
A small protip for you by the way, if you’re still lacking scrips (and haven’t done this yet): Do your Custom Deliveries every week. The NPCs from which you can choose 2 to deliver to every week are Z’hloe and Adkiragh in Idyllshire, M’Naago in Rhalgr’s Reach and Kurenai in Tamamizu (you gotta unlock those via a blue quest). It’s easily around 1668-2988 yellow crafter scrips you can get, by just spending around 5-10 minutes per week and almost no gil costs (the worst you can pay is 14k gil, the best is 3000).they can take my 10 USD every single month without any complaints.
I’ve spend more on less. For 10€ I probably saved myself already over 150hours of grind time in a month.
Amen, my friend. I’ve already spent 10 bucks on a barely working Viper Bot for ESO and it’s utter trash compared to Miqo n FFXIV, not to mention, that the Viper Bot community is trash. Almost no one (except for me) provides gathering grids, there are only years old, crappy, convoluted tutorials for it and it’s honestly a pure mess.
So is this basically buy mats and then have the bot craft whatever you tell it to with high success rate?
Yes. High success rate would also be an understatement. Maximum success rate based on the rng you can’t control in any way and your stats would be more accurate. No one on earth can squeeze out as much potential out of crafting as Miqobot. It uses multi-dimensional solution maps to solve crafting recipes and unless you have Savant Syndrome for maths and ffxiv crafting nothing beats Miqo.
It’s not really an autopilot type thing to level up (buy mats and automatically switch to highest exp item to craft)?
Not really’ish. There are a few scenarios for the scenario system that do exactly that for a certain range of levels and jobs, but they’re all player-made by people in this forum and they aren’t complete for levels 1-70 for all jobs yet.
Well, I’ll start elaborating on how I bot and why I bot:
1. Crafting:
When it comes to crafting, it is simple. I have currently Best in Slot gear, minus the melds on tools and the last slot on accessories. With that I can easily craft anything that exists in this game and it is not a challenge anymore. All, Miqobot does, is relieving me from that unnecessary button press every 30 seconds to start the next macro and I can do something else, instead of wasting my time with something that I will succeed in 100% of the time with 0% chance of failure and zero amount of effort put in, besides an annoying button press.Gold Saucer farming:
I already played and won every minigame in the Gold Saucer. Chocobo Racing is a faceroll for me, because I have a Chocobo with max stats, max pedigree and a super-sprint build, so Chocobo racing also only consists of starting the race, pressing one button and always winning by default. So grinding MGP is just a boring timesink, which is why I let Miqo do that for me, while I have better stuff to do.3. Combat assist
I only use combat assist in Eureka and maybe Palace of the Dead, when I’m playing Redmage. Redmage in my opinion is the most boring, but at the same most efficient job for playing these two kinds of content. On top of that, those two contents are the most repetitive grind every and I’d like to preserve my controller buttons, which is why I let Miqo do this grindy rotation spam in these two situations.4. Farming materials from timed nodes
I could also do this easily myself, but it is annoying to teleport to an area, mine a node for a few hits, wait 10 minutes and repeat. Either way I’m getting my mats and that can also be done by Miqo, instead of having to take my attention for 30 seconds every 10 minutes.Other than that I don’t use Miqo for any other feature.
Would also agree, that this would be nice to have and it would prevent at least half of the reposts.
Also, every time someone asks a repost, anyone can just post a link to the sticky and Miqo doesn’t need to waste her time to post and explain, that it’s already planned 🙂
Just make sure, it’s a closed topic with only 1 post where all planned features are listed ^^
