All right, we will consider your suggestion for the future development.
Thank you very much.In any case, better Diadem support is one of the things planned in Gathering Updates. We will try to design special functions for weather-based decision making. Once we find a suitable solution, it might be possible to generalize it for time-based chapter selection as well.
December 27, 2020 at 5:44 am in reply to: Suggestion: Automatic interruption for unspoiled nodes #25660Would like miqo to implement this routine for retainers 😀
Yes, additional scenario functions with native retainer support are already planned.
They will be implemented along with the rest of Scenario Engine updates:Thank you for your request.
December 26, 2020 at 7:28 am in reply to: Suggestion: Automatic interruption for unspoiled nodes #25639This feature would be an extension of a more basic mechanism – the ability to call scenarios recursively.
Such algorithm would require an implementation of call stack which is a rather complex mechanism in itself. We will look into this when we start working on new Scenario Engine functions. Please keep in mind that this system will occupy a full development cycle and may be implemented only at the cost of other features. But we will try our best.
Our community assigned a low priority to FATE features due to inherent danger posed by open-world combat. Therefore we focus on implementing private instance activities and Assist Mode instead.
For additional information about open-world combat, please read this thread:
Asking the community: Thoughts on Open World Combat and User ProtectionThank you for providing the requested information.
Indeed, this issue indicates that Auto-Face Target setting is disabled.
You can find instructions on how to enable this setting in the [Beta] Combat thread.Auto-Face Target must be enabled.
Note. It’s located under System -> Character Configuration -> Control Settings -> Target -> Automatically face target when using action.
Yes, of course.
Miqobot can access any of the 10 hotbars available in the game. All you have to do is make sure that they are reachable by keyboard. An icon on hotbar can be reachable either by assigning a shortcut directly, or by switching to that hotbar.
You can find the detailed explanation of both methods in our Help sections:
Keybinds and Icons RecognitionYes, there is a special condition that disables all spells in Red Mage rotation.
This condition is melee combo.
When Miqobot starts a melee combo, all other actions are disabled, even when your target moves out of melee range. This is done to prevent combo interruption in case the disconnection is only temporary. If you prefer to interrupt it anyway, you can cast a simple Jolt manually and Miqobot will pick up the rotation from there. If you can confirm that it happens regardless of melee combo, then perhaps it’s a new bug. Please contact our Tech Support and we will investigate the problem further: https://miqobot.com/#support
The preferred method to prevent usage of a certain ability is via Advanced Settings – Ignore Hotbar.
You can find more information in [Beta] Combat thread:Assist Mode – Advanced Settings
In order to access Advanced Settings, please click the
+button under Miqobot avatar.- Ignore Hotbar.
A hotbar number to be ignored by Miqobot.
You can use it to define abilities that you prefer to use manually.
For example, if you don’t like how Miqobot handles Ley Lines placement, you can drag this ability to hotbar #9 and instruct Miqobot to ignore it. This way you don’t have to use macros and the cooldown remains visible.
Yes, this always happens with every new version release.
False Positive is a bug in antivirus, but since we have no affiliation with antivirus vendors and have no access to their source code we can not help them fix it.This is why there is a reminder in the main status thread:
A reminder about antiviruses.
Since this is a new version of Miqobot, it may be flagged by your antivirus as False Positive because its signatute is not yet known. As it is stated in our FAQ section, Miqobot is not a virus but antiviruses are usually trained to sic at anything that tries to interact with other programs. Miqobot will make no attempt to fight your antivirus.
Please remember to whitelist your Miqobot application after download. Thank you!
Even if you did not experience this problem before, it doesn’t mean that you never will. Antiviruses are updated often and each update has a chance to introduce a new false positive bug.
We highly recommend to report this behavior to your antivirus vendor. - Ignore Hotbar.
