If your ping is an issue, you can just extend the waits for in-game macros by an extra second.
In-game macros are 100% reliable, with the downside of being inefficient since it can’t respond to procs like the crating solver can (thus you need higher stats for 100% HQ).
Until it’s working, however, using in-game or miqo macros are strongly recommended.

Ultimately what we as users need to do is be patient and appreciate how well implemented miqo is even in her current state. <3
I don’t think people are being impatient, but just acknowledging that there’s only so much that can be accomplished in 2 years with Miqo’s limited dev resources before we’re right back where we are.
Unless they explicitly tell us they can easily add all Trusts this expac, then I think the expectation is every Trust dungeon they add will have to come at the expense of other new features that have been on the backburner for years (questing, triple Triad, material hunting).
It would be awesome if we could get every trust dungeon added, but as someone else said, if the only new features that get added to Miqo in the next 2 years is getting caught up with EW content, then we’re going to be right back at the point when 7.0 comes out, and the Miqo will never be able to get new functionality. Just slowly catching up to available trusts, crafting solver, and fixing combat rotations. That seems like an unfortunate option.
Given that, focusing on things that should result in minimal upkeep (triple triad!) every expansion might be good, even if it’s not considered such an important feature by many. These things would add great long-term value to Miqo, instead of just playing catchup.
Also on the topic of which trusts to focus on, I think focusing on lv 90 trusts is a complete waste. It takes almost no time to cap the weekly limited tomes (hunts + any endgame content). Leveling dungeons and other features are way more of a value-add.

Personally, I would rather see the quality of life changes that have been constantly on the list for a long time that always get pushed to the back as miqo attempts to keep up with the content drip and remain relevant.
Ah, I would kinda agree with this.
For instance, I feel like any kind of Triple Triad functionality would require minimal upkeep once implemented, and will always add value every patch.

June 19, 2021 at 9:53 pm in reply to: Is there a reason Miqo doesn't store solved recipes somewhere? #30617But Miqo clearly can maintain the last 1 recipe/stat combination for instant loading. Therefore it should be possible to do that for multiple, even if there is an increased cost in storage (or possibly memory).
The possibility I raised wasn’t to save specific recipes, but to do what Miqo is doing for the last recipe – but for the last ~3 recipes.
If I’m done crafting but expect to craft the same recipe tomorrow/later in the day, I just leave miqo open so as to not waste those 1-2 mins of food/syrup. Seems kind of silly to have to do that – the data is clearly somewhere in between crafts and realistically should be able to be saved and then pre-loaded before I pop any items.

Being able to save recipes really is vital. Jumping between a handful of recipes but recalculating for 70-90 seconds at the start of each batch just chews through syrups and food when done in bulk. Even being able to keep the last 3-5 recipes ready (instead of just the last 1) would help immensely here, even if it would eat up a couple more gigs of storage.
I missed the vote, but to add my thoughts – I agree that Miqo development should not specifically prioritize Treasure Trove.
It’s super braindead content (like 3 different roulettes will give you tomes) and there’s no guarantee that even AV will be in future Trove events so there’s a risk any specific development will be a waste. If we could get something that allows for a large number of dungeons to be supported (i.e. community scripting tools), then I think everyone would be on board. But in lieu of that, lets keep the dev roadmap as-is.
Replying here instead of creating a new thread – I do think there is value in having Miqo either dodge or show the arena (like with combat assist) for Slice is Right because of the achievements tied to winning 10 of the Gates.
The second bonus round has a 33% chance of losing that seems to be pure RNG, but seeing the bamboo AOEs (if possible) would be great regardless of MGP.
Just my 2 cents!

I will not be bullied by the Miqobot team, their simps or their apologists
The behaviour expected from petulant children, really.
Pathetic.

Im not trying to cheese the rankings, I had season 1 saint and there is no reason for me to rank. I just want to clear the bloody store before everyone stops trying to rank and the mat prices shoot the hell up.
Not sure what you mean by “clear the store”, but mat prices drop significantly after rankings (at least they have the last 2 times).
okay?
I’m going to be frank. I have been here for quite a while and the pity party everytime someone gets slightly upset has worn off for me. I defended you before but when I am seeing “developers” being used when a guy that is solo creates module for expert crafts gets his done faster, I am allowed to be a bit peeved and should not be guilt tripped. In this day of cyberpunk 2077 fiasco, I am just not that trusting anymore to what I am being told.
Not sure what you’re expecting by continuing to doubt the devs here. You’re welcome to think they’re lying to you, but unless you have proof (or even a reason why they would, rofl), there’s not much point in continuing to say the same thing.
Ok you don’t believe them. Cool.
I’m hoping they can get the update out as soon as reasonably possible, but I’m not going to act like the other 200 features of the bot suddenly aren’t working, or that there’s nothing to do in FFXIV for the next 5 days than cheese the rankings.
Enjoy the game and the bot, or maybe consider taking a break.

I don’t understand the skepticism others have here. Wasn’t miqo available for past rankings? If the devs were ok with having miqo up and running for the first 2 rankings, why wouldn’t they be ok with it up for the 3rd?
The simplest explanation here is the one the devs have given us – it’s more complicated this time. Square is known for throwing small wrenches into their updates to thwart bots (e.g. shifting diadem nodes slightly and making it a new area).
Does it suck? I guess that depends on your personal opinion on using a bot for ranking (I got my ranking legit last season so I don’t have a horse in this – I just want to get my 100x crafts achievements). But unless you have some proof of a conspiracy, I’d recommend believing the devs.
