Use an ingame macro that combines Final Appraisal with the next skill. FA does not progress the steps, and thus is not detected.

All right, we will consider your suggestion.
    Thank you for your request.

In addition to their request, if a second dungeon is implemented for leveling, I would also recommend the 87 one over the 85 one simply for long term advantage. When the next expansion comes, the level 87 one will be far more effective in getting the levels up to the new cap.
However, personally I would be inclined to go for other features over a second dungeon for leveling. Just like the level 53 dungeon is sufficient, so too should the 81 dungeon be sufficient if its just about leveling.
    So my suggestion, summarized, is:
If you implement a second leveling dungeon, 87 has more value in the long term, but I would prefer only the 81 leveling dungeon so that resources can be used elsewhere.

ima be honest its probably safe to skip automating the new spear fishing entirely

it seems they even went and made it so the new aethersands come from one normal fish and one spearfishing fish, so you can pick which one you do

that and it looks like it’d be a pain to get the kitty to get the timing right, especially with low vision

I disagree on this. It’s actually trivial to get the timing right with an algorithm. I already made my own tool for it, near 100% accuracy in less than an hour. It isn’t by visual recognition, so low vision isn’t relevant. Spearfishing is a far more effective way to get the aethersands, by about 5 times the hourly output from my own testing.
There is no reason not to automate it.

    can you share the tool?

If I make it more robust I might. It’s currently based on the memory layout on my main computer, but on a different device it won’t necessarily work as it gets assigned differently. I use something specific to how my CPU handles instructions to find the memory range. If I have time to find a more global solution to get the right memory range, I will release it. Currently looking for a new job, and that has priority…

FFXIVQuickLauncher has a addon “Triad Buddy” for Triple Triad, it tells you what deck to use for each npc using your cards, and where to play each card.

Miqo need not waste time making something for Triple Triad when a free and full solution is available, it just doesn’t play for you, but it tells you how each turn you don’t even need to think.

    https://github.com/goatcorp/FFXIVQuickLauncher
    https://github.com/MgAl2O4/FFTriadBuddyDalamud

That one is nice, but is very bad in performance. I can win with decks it says have 0% win chance… It uses one strategy only, and for some rule sets, a lot of mistakes are made. Using it as a base or for advice is okay, but it loses far more than it should simply by placing cards in bad spots.

Just 81 is more than enough to level up fast… The 85 one barely saves time in comparison, and dev hours would be better spent elsewhere. A 90 one after 6.4 at the earliest. Besides that, dedicate time to other features.

Aetherytes have a new interface, which is probably not supported yet. There is a solution through using sendKey to “manually” move to the right option before selecting it once, and then using afkFor after the final interaction.
I use a sequence like this right now:

    key(F12,1)
    key(num6,1) //cursor activate
    key(num0,1) //select option 1
    key(num2,1) //move to option 2
    key(num2,1) //move to option 3
    key(num2,1) //move to option 4
    key(num0,1) //select option 4
    key(num0,1) //select option 4
    afkFor(0:00:10)

Personally, I would rather see the quality of life changes that have been constantly on the list for a long time that always get pushed to the back as miqo attempts to keep up with the content drip and remain relevant.

Ah, I would kinda agree with this.

For instance, I feel like any kind of Triple Triad functionality would require minimal upkeep once implemented, and will always add value every patch.

There is even an open source Triple Triad solver thing that could be used as the base for that. It isn’t perfect, but it is very efficient already.

What do you mean with Loot boxes for GC seals? did they update the GC vendors?

They added 2 boxes containing minions and mounts from 2.x/3.x and 4.x respectively. They cost 20k GC seals.

    Thank you for your suggestion.
    We will consider your proposal.

Unforunately, as we already mentioned in the roadmap thread, all players need different features and they usually need them as soon as possible. And we can not implement them all at once.
So no matter what we say or do, the majority of the community will be disappointed by our decisions.

    This^
Personally, I would love to see ARF farming implemented first (lots of poetics!), but that won’t be happening.

Hey guys, I was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and have been trying to chug along in gaming. Controllers aren’t as bad as m/kb but still painful after a while. I only recently started playing this game as well, plus I’ve never used a bot before. Would you guys recommend this for a newbie like me? I can do the msq ok for a while but when it comes to all the side stuff it gets to be a bit much, especially after trying to grind the msq.

I would recommend it, as it is very beginner friendly. Most things are just checkboxes and buttons and boxes to input text for item names.

Holminster Switch came out in November, 4-5 months after the expansion. Qitana Ravel came out approximately August. It’s usually a pretty slow development because it also includes the rotations included for the jobs. Don’t take this as quoting, but it’s a pretty accurate model for development though the community also influences the decision making process for prioritizing different things.

Once 81 dungeon comes out though, you can max out your trust and your jobs very quickly. It’s also nice for seal farming and minions.

Even with no 81, it is very easy to max out trust and jobs still. I did manual runs of trusts for a bit, got very fast xp. They increased 81+ dungeon xp in 6.01 because it was better to run 71-80 for xp… Now 81+ is better, but 71-80 is still very good.
