Hello, I very much apologize for my noob question, but is there a step by step resource on how to set up the solver for expert crafts? I’ve been trying to find one, but no luck. First time using a tool like this. Sorry in advance.
1) Open Miqo
2) Copy these settings https://gyazo.com/40cc867596424fdc8dafac49c498dd70 (checked solver, 4:1, manip, inno)
3) Make sure you have every skill on your hotbar and Miqo can access it through some sort of keybind
4) Set your craft amount to whatever you want (I recommend 7 or 8 if you’re using Syrup which you should be)
5) Press start, wait a minute or so for miqo to calculate, then go afk for 15 minsAlternatively, do what I did and create a scenario that eats food/syrup buff, crafts 7 items (syrup falls off right around this time, 15m left on food), refreshes syrup buff, crafts 7 more items, and then repeats from the beginning as by now both syrup and food have fallen off.
I was able to run that scenario for about 5 hours straight until my inventory filled
Just want to add on and say thanks for the crafting solver as well. The other bot I use for other things doesn’t even come remotely close to miqo in terms of quality in the craft.
Just did 10 expert crafts with miqo and these are the qualities I got: 7071, 8240, 8240, 8240, 8240, 8240, 8240, 6865, 8125, 8240. For reference if people don’t know, the expert crafts are 11,126 progress and go up to 82,400 quality, so miqo maxed quality a majority of the time even with the heavy RNG of expert crafting (granted I have BiS melds, specialist, food, syrup, the whole thing but even without this I could easily see miqo hitting at least min collectability every time with ease).
Plus, the crafter is pretty fast too. This is a screenshot I just took https://gyazo.com/9c70b3feb5f463eaa831706d0384abf2 (I took it right as the end craft text popped up, hence the blue line). And then another craft taken right after: https://gyazo.com/cb8f50024fc10e9176de3993ccf2b00f, also max collect. Both of these were just under 40 steps, which is actually nuts considering the other bot I used would be lucky to make it under 50, usually would hit around 60. With Miqo, I can do about 32 expert crafts an hour.
So thanks Miqo team <3
Kinda different “run-time” analysis from my side:
Let my lvl 71 DRK do Holminster Switch for 12 hours and he got up to lvl 76
Using https://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Experience_Points/Chart and just assuming you started at 0 exp 71 and ended 0 exp 76, that’s 89,015,600m total exp, or 7,417,966 per hour. Definitely not bad exp/hour

You must be logged in to view attached files.I’m assuming you’re talking about my post, and if so I will respectfully disagree.
I was assertive, not aggressive. I was critical, in what I deemed to be constructive manner.
I do however realise that that is subjective, and some could well have read aggression into my post.
It was just one post though.
If my post has led to this thread, and I’m really hoping it hasn’t, then that quite frankly is ridiculous.
This post can also be read in an aggressive tone, but I can assure you it is not being written in one. I’m sitting here with a cup of tea and a perplexed expression on my face.
Not going to lie, I kind of rolled my eyes when I saw your first post in this thread. After having read the topic you created the other day then reading your post here, I wondered if it was the same person because it had the same negative connotation attached to the whole tone of the post, and yep, it was. I don’t think your original topic or either of the posts you’ve made in here are overly aggressive, but I think you’re downplaying them just a tad too much. They aren’t overly aggressive, however nor are they simple “assertive”.
It means the node is unreachable so miqobot blacklists that node so it no longer goes for it.
I had to make quite a few changes to the Truegold ore grid that was posted to fix the nodes since they have some weird terrain issues.
I attached my edited version for you, I’ve ran it for about 150 gathers of both water and ore and it hasn’t had any issues since I made edits to a couple of the nodes.
This one is working quite well for me so far (10 laps, no issues). Only thing is, and I assume this can’t really be fixed, is that during the portion of the grid that is in the river with the rocks between each node it will mount up, fly above the nodes, then descend back down. I’m guessing that’s something to do with the terrain itself being fucky? The reason I ask is because people who are manually gathering just hop down from the taller rocks down to the lower ones whereas it’s pretty obvious to know who’s botting since they’ll mount then ascend and descend
Here is some of the grids I just created:
BTN80-Skybuilders’ Dawn Lizard (has Lizard & Wheat)
MIN80-Skybuilders’ Sea Salt (Salt & Reef Rock)
MIN80-Skybuilders’ Highland Spring Water (has Spring Water & Truegold)I’ll upload any other I created — it works well enough so far within 500+ mat gathered, but might still glitch in certain spots.
Sea Salt working perfectly atm, will update in an hour or so. Only thing is that if two nodes are fairly close together it will gather the first node, mount up, then run like 2m to the next node instead of just running manually which makes it look kinda bot-like. Is there a miqo setting I need to change?
alright so this is working flawlessly now for me, it makes 12 Tinctures, goes to elumore buys sublimes, and repeats. You can buy anything on the list by manipulating the number of “key()” commands.
You need a macro to make the White Scrip item, or make one and put the name in the first chapter.
Attached below for anyone interested
Can you post your full scenario please? Trying to get this to work but I don’t know how to piece together the two scenarios I downloaded from here.
Probably trying to do the same thing as you: craft ~12 tinctures, turn in for sublimes, and repeat
Is there a way to use a crafting macro instead of solver for scenario? I have all the keys mapped out for the crafting just don’t know how to make miqo use macro craft instead of solver craft
EDIT: found it a few pages back, nevermind
