1) When i Record I always run slow and carefully. First 4-5 runs always go to waste because I am memorizing all the pads and chests and monsters.
2) Not sure about the jumps. Im pressing spacebar and see a triangle pop on the track. How do you do it?
3) You said it yourself – making it perfect is always tedious since its impossible to do everything right from the start. But whats 2 hours vs something perfect that will serve you for months to come?
4) I teleport to S.Thanalan too. But instead of handicrafting I try to improve my recorded route by fixing mistakes. Moving jumps a little further, shifting left and right. After each adjustment I go back to the race and see how it plays.
5) I tried doing manual record in S.Thanalan too. But it doesnt show chests and pads. So it doesnt work for me.Devs already promised us a text editor: https://miqobot.com/forum/forums/topic/request-in-bot-editable-racing-waypoints/
It will make me more than happy since I wont have to reload Miqo to apply changes.
Connecting the dots would be nice but like I said manual creating doesnt work for me. Unless Miqo finds some way to miraculously freeze the race so I could see all the chests and draw the lines based on that. But i doubt its doable without hacking.By the way Sagolii gives the smallest reward for the 1st place. Tranquil is the best. I assume it has something to do with length. As the most downtime is registering and waiting in Q you want to be 1st in Tranquil to maximize your income. In R180 I had
Sagolii Road – 822 MGP
Costa Del Sol – 863 MGP
Tranquil Paths – 904 MGPAnother tip is to walk in snake lines when recording. For sections when there are no traps. If you stick to a straight line you might bump into someones bum. Doing that destroys your speed and cancels Sprint.
Oh I see. Yeah lags are annoying. In Chocoracing they look extremely weird. You get thrown all over the place by the game. No wonder Miqo got confused.
Actually its easy to edit the files with notepad. Miqo devs said about that json viewer thing but U9w30y showed me an even better way. https://miqobot.com/forum/forums/topic/request-in-bot-editable-racing-waypoints/
Basically you just open it in Notepad with the word wrap on and resize the window to get the points aligned. Hold on a sec Ill get a pic for you.Yeah I have the same story. Diadem was blooming with coffers in the days of 3.1. But now idk. Me and my gf went into diadem hard and found nothing not a single chest. I know it worked back when i210 was a thing. We had two pegasus mounts in just a few days without killing a thing. And exploring was super fun, not like the mindless monster grind. Yeah it was just like on the picture you found, tons of hidden chests. But now its pretty much broken.
You may be right it has something to do with how many people attend. Maybe it spawns a coffer for each party goes inside, maybe theres a random chance for dead body idk. Sadly we’re out of options. Nobody farms it because rewards are outdated and they destroyed the only thing that was fun. searching for buried chests. Only gatherers come here from time and time and they’re not even happy. Its not you its just diadem is dead. I know it sucks but we have to wait till 3.3 or 3.4 when game devs promise to resurrect it.
Imo its a very good bird especially if you get Choco Cure III along the way. Cunning is not about strafing (according to the guide I follow). Its about performance on rough terrain which is either water or steep uphills. So if you stay away from Costa and Tranquil you should be fine. Since Sagolii has no water and almost no uphills.
The guide itself:
Noticed that I missed a chest in Sagolii road (after the cave on the left). It doesnt appear every time so I didnt know. Heres the updated waypoints for R120-R160.
Detached the outdated ones from the original post.Attachments:
You must be logged in to view attached files.Yeah this is definitely the weirdest waypoints Ive seen lol. I dont have access to R300 but Ive decided to put it into Open class and see whether it follows the patterns on 3dradar. For the most part it was fine but on some sections the bot was completely lost. And 3dradar showed some backtracking lines which is also strange. so ive taken a look inside in notepad.
You sure you didnt edit them manually right? Cause your progress pattern is like 41%, 42%, 43, BAM! 50, 51, BAM! 46, 47,.. Its like you teleport back and forth along the track. Miqo must be ‘what the hell’ at times. One of the jumps is exactly at this weird 50-51% area. Another section is in the end of the track, you have -97-98-99-100-95-96- there. Ive no idea how this could happen but I assume its not supposed to work correctly.
Ive taken the liberty to fix these weird patterns for you and it worked like a charm. Im not sure where that 50-51 jump was supposed to go so you might wanna finish that one yourself.By the way you can leave all those show checkboxes ticked next to record button. Its always good to know what Miqo thinks about your points. So any ideas about that random teleporting?

You must be logged in to view attached files.I keep getting a “Sorry, can’t mount” message when using the MIN 15 Cinnabar route. I have my company chocobo on hotbar 1 and if I manually click it while the bot is running then it works fine, but otherwise it stalls out and just keeps giving me a repeated “Sorry, can’t mount” message. Thanks for any help!
Hmm do you have a key shortcut for chocobo on your hotbar? Miqo doesnt click anything with mouse if thats what you mean.
