Most of the chocobo racing is dead as MGP minigame farming became the better MGP/hour farm rate.

The ratios are simply that – if a + b is greater than 99%, accelerate. If a + b is less than 95%, decelerate. Basically the 99/95 ratio works great for leveling racing chocobos – you can adjust as needed, but really, I didnt for the most part.

If you have a cure/recovery build and end up with plenty of stamina left at the end, do what the (outdated) guide says – set both at 0%, remove the checkmark on decelerate when lathered and your chocobo should run lathered the entire race.

If youre looking for a specific set of numbers to use – its all 100% dependent on what chocobo youre racing. If you have great stats and stamina, set the numbers differently so that you run fast the whole way or most of the way. Adjust them down if you end up at 0% before the end.

My end racing set that I won all 15 challenges on was Stam3/SuperSprint. I ran all those manually though for the most part. Or I found/made a particular race path myself and set ‘use ability 1 (super sprint) at 1%’ – meaning right out of the gate, miqo would use super sprint and Id hope that the bot would get in front of everyone and just make it. Works most of the time.

Best bet is to just make your own – race a race once or twice to get a feel for where shit is and then record. Remember, you dont have to hit every box or dash boost if youre objective is to just win.

Lot of stuff in the bot is outdated and the guides can be helpful but end up being a few years old information. Unless youre doing something that the rest of the community is doing, youll more than likely have to make your own settings/routes/gathering points/etc that work for you. Most everything Ive found is meh at best, because its a few years old – so use it as a template and adjust/fix as you need to.

Ill check back if you still need some help.

Thanks for the detailed response. at the time i found it confusing, but as of this date i have a handle on it. finished all challenges and bred a male and female 5star just incase racing ever becomes a thing again. My current bird is r300 and hits first in most races.

I think i am pretty much done with choco racing, now i am focusing on minigames.

I was just asking a question, ive never tried soloing a trial before this was introduced so i have no idea how time consuming the rng is, seems like you took personal offense to the request because, who fucking knows why.

OK i’m a bit confused here, so someone else tell me if i got this right:

The guy who takes offense to a matter-of-fact statement with no strong words or curses, then turns around and projects his own feelings onto me by accusing me in a flippant way using curse words of doing the exact thing that he does, and i didn’t.

How do people’s brains end up like this? It baffles me.
Ah well. One less incentive for trying to be helpful on the forum.

Youve replied to this thread twice, and twice you have not answered a question nor have you said anything useful.

Miqobot has already answered the request sufficiently, you can go on about your day.

With this feature up and running, will it be expanded to include the other extreme trials in order to find the mounts?

It will depend on the feedback we receive.
This is an experimental feature designed for farming tank mount achievements. Of course, you can use it to retrieve Xanthos mount as well, but its drop rate is about 20% and players usually do not have problems with doing it manually. But if there is enough demand, we will consider implementing other trials as well.

Also, if i wanted to create a scenario with the garuda trials to run a few then delivery the items to grand company for seals, what command would i use for the unsync trial?

This feature is activated via the same function as Squadron Dungeons.
An example of scenario would look like this:

    dungeon(Garuda)
    squadron(3)
    deliverGCGear()

    thanks

The feature isn’t there to farm trial mounts, it’s there to farm tank achievement mounts. Garuda just happens to be the simplest and quickest duty thst works for those achievements, it has nothing to do with the Garuda mount.

If you can run an extreme solo (which means it would be bottable), you can just manually do that like 5 times to get the primal mount. The bot feature is there to grind you through the HUNDREDs of repetitions it takes for the achievements.

Wasting dev time on something you only ever need to do like 5 times and takes 2 minutes would be a pretty bad idea imo.

I was just asking a question, ive never tried soloing a trial before this was introduced so i have no idea how time consuming the rng is, seems like you took personal offense to the request because, who fucking knows why.

Its going to finish the number of gathers it has remaining before checking the weather. its split between 2 sets of 19 or one set of 38 to keep the cannon gauge full.

If you are worried about missing the weather, you can split the 38 gather rotations into 2 sets of 19.

As for changing class, it just has to be on the hotbar that has a keybind assigned to it.

I’m new to this. How do I change which item in the node I want to mine? Its going to spot 5, but I want to mine spot 2.

USe gather by name, it will gather the item by name first from top to bottom, if nothing matches it will use the number in the slot.

It doesnt miss any weather rotations. So usually 2-4 since its random, weather. The rotation it uses requires 700gp just incase you dont change anything, i also only use cordials on timed nodes.

I linked this in another thread, but i guess i should link it here. I took this preset, adjusted it to check timed nodes for both min and btn, it also does Materia extraction. However diadem boom only targets one specific mob, for my needs, you will have to change this.

The macro has rally points and adjusted pathing to prevent getting stuck after searching for timed nodes or going to shoot things for the boom. It also leaves and returns after its over to reset the timer. Managed to goto work and come back with it still running.

    Works well enough for me.

I dont gather for 3 hours at a time, my macro is set to leave every hour or 2, and return to keep the farm going till i stop it.

Its modified from the botony grid someone else posted earlier in phase 3 start. It checks for mining and btn, and it shoots only one specific monster for diadem boom. It also does Materia extraction before it leaves.

    Feel free to change it.
