    I hate when I’m dumb.

You’re not dumb because you’ve asked a question. Asking questions makes you smart and is always the right thing to do.
And nobody is expected to know all the ins and outs of how to work with Miqobot, except for maybe the devs themselves 😉

I don’t know about the details, but from what I know:
    – Miqobot uses multi-dimensional solution maps to calculate the most effective crafting route (not the most efficient)
    – Miqobot calculates every recipe at the premise that its maximum quality is unlimited, and only stops being concerned about quality once it actually hits max in-game

That’s why Miqobot can HQ craft pretty much any recipe at any level with the minimum amount of stats required for it to be possible to be made HQ without any HQ mats in the first place

Safe: there’s no way to be safe in the Ukraine right now, but they’re as safe as currently possible
Well: from what I know they’re physically well, but understandably this war puts an immense psychological strain on anyone in that region, so you can’t say that they’re well by default

I’m not sure if this is possible, and I doubt it, but Miqobot can certainly help you to catch it.

All you have to do is the following:
    0. Set up an ACT trigger to give you a sound notification whenever you receive the Fisher’s Intuition buff or when you catch a Giant Takitaro (which triggers intuition)
    1. Use any big fish tracker like Carbuncleplushy or GatherBuddy (Dalamud Plugin) to check when Giant Takitaro is up / go to its fishing spot whenever there are thunderstorms or thunder as weather
    2. Equip Glowworms, set Miqo to ignore small and medium tugs and use Chum, start Miqobot fishing (as long as there are thunderstorms/thunder) and tab out of the game to do whatever you want
    3. Pause Miqobot and tab back into the game when ACT gives you a notification that you got the intuition buff, quickly reel in your fishing line, switch to Topwater Frogs, unpause Miqo and let the bot do its thing for as long as you have intuition
    4. If you catch Namitaro, congrats, if not, go back to step 2

Shouldn’t be too hard to catch that fish. Iirc it was one that I caught with Miqobot, and I’m only missing 15 or so fish for the Big Fish title (most of them are Stormblood & Shadowbringers fish with absurd requirements or super rare windows).

Yes, it is indeed possible to run Qitana Ravel with just the base combo because of the way how Square Enix has implemented the Trust/Duty Assist system:

The damage your trust NPCs does is highly depentand on the time you’ve spent in the dungeon. If you’re doing garbage dps like with just the base rotation your trust NPCs will do way more damage than what they would do if you were speedrunning the dungeon with an optimized rotation.
Of course, doing optimal damage lets you run the dungeon faster, although not much. From what I have heard you’re able to shave off up to 5 minutes at best, since trust/assist NPC dungeons are tuned to be cleared around the 25 minute mark.

Some people even tried afk’ing for 10 minutes at the start of a dungeon which massively increased the trust NPCs damage, essentially letting them clear the whole thing way faster (though since they were afk’ing for 10 minutes it was still longer than usual for the whole clear).

This is a feature that has already been requested quite a lot and also is on the list of features that Miqobot wants to develop at some point, although it’s pretty hard to implement, since they have to adjust it for every type of vendor and every sales window individually (this isn’t something that is easily implemented on a universal method).

However, even if we take the situation that the Miqobot devs are in right now (war in Ukraine) out of the equation, it’s still not a priority feature, there are multiple other features that will be developed before QoL updates (from which NPC vendor support is just a little part of):

Lemme think about it. Last time I leveled a job with Miqobot was during Shadowbringers.

I’d say around a day for 50-70, also a bit less than a day for 70-80, and maybe 2-3 days for 80-90 I would guess. Could be totally off though. That is, if you have your Squadron leveled up for running Sohm Al.

I’d still recommend manually running Leveling Roulette, Trial Roulette and MSQ Roulette once per day for the absolutely massive amount of exp they give, especially in the areas from 60-70 and 80-90.

There’s also another Dalamud plugin (a 3rd party plugin though) that is a semi-automatic process:

    – whenever you try to list an item it automatically opens the list of currently listed items and lets you click on any of them to automatically list the max amount (or a specific amount you set before) of that item at 1 less gil (or whatever you set it) and automaticall copies that price into your clipboard
    – holding ctrl while doing ‘right click > adjust’ instantly adjusts the price of an already listed item to what is currently in your clipboard
    – holding ctrl while clicking on ‘list item’ automatically lists the max/set amount of items at the price that is currently in your clipboard

It’s called MarketBuddy and should be easily findable with google. Use it at your own risk, as it is a 3rd party Dalamud plugin, though from my personal experience I can only say that I didn’t have any problems with it so far.

Saves me a ton of time to adjust all my marketboard prices. It usually takes me 15-30 seconds to undercut by 1 gil on all 20 items I’ve listed on a retainer.

Nope, this isn’t supported, as the Gold Saucer minigames feature is pretty tightly coded to the location in the Gold Saucer.
Enabling it for housing would be quite a lot of work, which would take several weeks of development for no real advantage.

Very few things in the game are auto-moderated by Square Enix, like your character’s position (which is why teleporting hacks get pretty much instantly detected and users of those autobanned in a short amount of time). Housing areas are allegedly also one of those things that have auto-moderation to catch people non-stop crafting the same thing 24/7 in their closed house, and it’s likely that housing gold saucer minigames are also auto-moderated.

Also a pleasant hello from me 🙂

It’s nice to hear from you as well, since I’ve been only in direct contact with Miqobot.
Feels a little less lonely on the forum just with Miqobot, and good to see who’s also working on the good deed 😀
I’ve also been using some of your grids. They’re really nice.

The only time I ever use the 3 settings together was with an expert craft w/ food + cunning buff.

And even there it wasn’t required anymore to get decent results once Miqo was updated for the new conditions.

Yup, it is finally there. The crafting solver update, as announced. It was 90% complete a few weeks before the war in Ukraine, and just about to be released, when the attack started.

Before Miqo had to be fixed for patches the devs used the little time they had to finish up the last stitches for the update, so they could release it together with the fix for the new patch.

Yes, battle jobs are not upgraded for Endwalker rotations yet so bot won’t be using any skills above 80 lvl. I don’t know about any macro that can work here unfortunately.

    To add onto this:
All jobs are working up to level 80, except Sage, Reaper, Monk and Summoner. Summoner received a total remake since Endwalker, which essentially makes it a new job. Monk also got some major changes, which makes it half of a new job. Reaper and Sage are new alltogether. They will all use basic abilities with combat assist, however only the absolutely bare minimum.
Reaper for example only uses his basic Slice combo and nothing else. Sage will use his single target and aoe heal, as well as his basic attack, but nothing else.

So playing these jobs in combat assist might not work properly in higher level content. All other jobs should perform decent, and good enough to clear a savage raid with, I guess, but don’t expect any purple parses there.

I am not entirely sure, but from what I heard from other 3rd party tool devs patch 6.11 is expected to not cause many problems that need to be fixed, so Miqo might be up quicker than expected, despite the situation.

If everything turns out well, Miqo can quickly fix it in a few minutes, whenever they get their next chance to be at their PC.

But no promises. No idea, if SE randomly messes things up again.

I can’t say much about other bot alternatives for FF, because I’ve never used one of them, but I’ve used MMOViper for ESO, and I’ve seen they also have a FFXIV bot, which apparently looks identical to the ESO bot.

Just in advance, I’ll tell you about my experience about it in ESO: It felt like a super watered-down, inferior, clunky version of Miqobot. Yes, it has a combat routines feature, but you have to completely make your own combat routines from scratch which is a major headache and doesn’t always work properly.
The gathering feature is more or less exactly like Miqobot’s, with the only problems being that it only has a 2D-radar so any height differences will quickly cause critical problems of the bot getting stuck and stuff. Also, the bot does not like gathering targets around a corner, so if you run somewhere, where you have to turn the camera more than 90° it can quickly get the bot stuck as well. Also, the way you choose what the bot should gather is a major headache as well.

Also something annoying from what I remember: It costs the same as Miqobot but you must subscribe for multiple months iirc.
