I said it before and id like to say it again. Spending several months on something that will get outdated later is a waste of precious development time. Id like to see new scenario functions before Endwalker instead. Its been sitting in the backlog for a few years now.
Well lucky for us you aren’t the only vote. I’m going to lay pretty good odds that most people aren’t doing a ton of fancy stuff with miqo, they’re likely just using basic functions. They don’t really need fancy scenario tools that only a handful of hardcores will ever use. They just want to keep the game basic functionality moving forward updated.
Also any major changes prior to Endwalker is likely a fools errand considering that a lot of things will probably change and break your fancy new features anyway.
Also, just because you don’t personally want something does not make it a waste of “precious development time”.
However, spending 1-2 month of development on a dungeon that will be outdated in.. say 6 months is a waste of time when scenario functionality or other things has a greater benefit and value for the whole. You can still use Miqo in these dungeons, just not fully automated (combat assist still works).
Also your second point: Yes it is true anything in Miqo today will break on 6.0, but there is a shorter development to fix all function vs spending months on something no one will use again.
So…
Someone tell me what these vague scenario enhancements are that you are all voting for and why they are the bestest thing ever? Because honestly to me it sounds like some vague fantasy of miqo doing magical things with no concrete info.
Also, using the logic you guys are using, Miqo should never have another dungeon added ever since at some point it will be obsolete.

Why would you prefer a different dungeon over the one Miqobot already supports?
Not OP, but likely because the latest dungeon always has the highest iLvl dungeon gear drops.
But OP needs to realize in 2 days Matoya’s Relict will no longer be the newest and therefore highest dungeon. The new dungeon dropping in 5.5 will be Paglth’an.
Now if feasible I would like to see Paglth’an added as it will likely be the highest iLvl and and newest dungeon until Endwalker drops whish is almost certainly at least 6 months away.
Thinking about it from a logical business perspective, because at the end of the day this is Square we’re talking about, making it less easy to unsync content means more time spent in the game, which in turn means more end revenue for them and more active time in the game which means people might re-sub more.
I can see YoshiP wanting it to be like that to appease and reassure players that like unsyncing content, but until it lands I won’t be overly optimistic about it purely because it makes more sense not to.
I can’t speak for anyone else, but I play this game because it’s so solo friendly, if that changes I will pack my bags and leave. I’ve quit many many many MMOs over the years, what’s one more. Especially with endwalker being the end of the story.
Having a level 61+ unscyned dungeon would still be worth even with the sync nerf. The nerf wont be as noticeable as people seem to think. While unscyned content will be slightly harder maybe then it is now you forget that there is still going to be a level cap increase. I would assume worst case scenario unscyned level 70 dungeon for level 90’s will feel like what they are now for level 80’s which is to say not easy like 50 under but not impossible. But level 60-69 stuff should still be doable solo for a level 90 job with miqobot.
That said its not something that is super important to have as it is only for the tank mount achievement. I personally dont think this needs a rush and it should fit under the umbrella of “Quality of Life” as in it is nice to have but not something im gonna stake my miqobot sub over.
Did you not see the presentation they gave? The squish is going to be massive, it’s not going to make unsync’d content “slightly harder”, it’s going to be balls to the wall unsoloable, for most of it. Unlike now.
They’re bringing the numbers down very very substantially.
There was a comment about it not affecting max level characters, but frankly, that doesn’t sound right at all. I think he misspoke or people are misinterpreting what he said…or a combination of the two. It’s not like they are going to squish stats from 1-89 and leave them the same for 90. SE really needs to clarify and make sure old content is still easily soloable unsynced. It would be a HUGE negative impact if if old content suddenly becomes difficult to solo.
Level 81 dungeon support is already in our development plans for Endwalker.
Thank you for your request. However, we can not make any promises for level 85, because we won’t be able to prepare and test all jobs at the beginning of the expansion.
Yeah I know there are a ton of variables involved, also the “85” dungeon may be hot garbage like The Vault. My request was more about the placement in the development timeline. I would like to see it as a high priority.
What can you actually get from TT? Nothing but more TT cards and some MGP. MGP can already be farmed with Miqo.
Also, if you start using miqo to play in tournaments against other players you didn’t win, miqo did. That will also risk drawing attention to miqo just like if it had PvP support. I suspect the TT community is pretty small and people mostly know who’s in it, if a bunch of new people show up and start winning it’s gong to draw attention and possibly actions from the devs that can impact everyone who uses Miqo.
So even without having BLU in the equation TT support seems like not the best idea.
BLU actually allows easier synced soloing of content that can be used to earn a variety of things like relics.
Would agree with this, but you already have both One-Shot scenarios for BLU and it can still viably complete Squadron missions if you want to grind dungeons.
BLU can’t use squadrons at all. Quite literally the only way to level is to manually grind levels killing mobs in the overworld and running manually formed dungeon groups…or solo dungeons.
Thats not surprising considering the average item level today is i520.
I doubt that’s really the average unless you’re only counting the people who raid every week. It’s likely closer to 510 with people wearing Exarchic gear.

Just an FYI all of those guides…like literally all of them are outdated and tell you to use a fixed exploit or just say stupid shit like “How to level fast” “Have a friend power level you”.

I would like to voice moving this up in priority as they said when 6.0 hits they will be nerfing unsyched so might not even be an option after that
If I remember correctly, they said they would adjust the damage and HP numbers from players and contents in the level range of 50-80. They wont touch contents below level 50. This means that unsynched content in the range of 50-80 will be almost the same difficulty with a level 80 char, but contents below 50 a little bit harder, because your numbers doesn’t increase that much from 50 onwards anymore. However that probably wont be that big of a deal, as the max level will be increased to 90 with the same patch aswell.
Do you really want to place your faith in that?
I agree with those requesting to up the priority of 61 dungeons.

Pretty much what I’m doing, thanks.
