    When a new version is released, you will see a notification in your Miqobot application, but you will have to download the new version manually.

    Is EVERYTHING on miqobot down for the count now? Or can I still craft previous items and still use the assisted combat to run my daily’s?

    Yes, all features are completely broken.
    As we already explained, new game patches break the core module of Miqobot application. This is a period of complete Miqobot downtime.

    Also I was curious if the assisted will ever be 100% with full 80 rotations?

    Yes, eventually all job rotations will be upgraded to level 80.
    However, we can not implement all of them at once, therefore we improve them slowly over time.

    Sorry this is my first time posting one more thing I have is I find the ignore hotbar not functioning I tried using 10 for moves like ley lines and my healers big bubbles but miqobot just used regardless or having hotbar 10 on the ignore section.

    I’m under the impression if miqo was setup to do it, it could see what abilities you’re using even if it doesn’t recognize them from before, maybe just the hotbar locations yeah? And then just repeat what was done, more reliably and faster?

    At the moment Miqobot is not capable of recognizing abilities that were not implemented directly in the combat module.
    It might be possible in theory, but this question requires additional research and there is no guarantee that a solution can be found. We can’t make promises about features that haven’t been researched.

    And I’m also not pushing for it to be any kind of priority either. Just seems like something that would be useful for a lot of folks while the bot is down and it’s been quite a while since I last played.

    When Miqobot is down, this feature wouldn’t work either.
    When the game releases a new patch, it changes the memory layout. It breaks the very core of Miqobot application – the game interaction module. Without it, it’s impossible to perform any kind of activity in the game.
    Even a simple macro recorder would require the ability to identify hotbar locations and then trigger them via keyboard shortcuts. These subsystems are broken.

    Again, I’m just guessing at what’s possible…it wouldn’t surprise me to be wrong in my understanding of the bot’s capabilities or how badly a patch screws up what using a weaponskill would look like to the bot…I’m no programmer, lol…just how I envisioned it could work.

    An approximate plan for upcoming weeks is described in the main status thread:

    Monk rotation is a part of basic changes and primary hotfixes (week #2).

    I’m honestly a bit surprised there hasn’t been some way to create your own rotations.

    This feature will require twice more work to develop, because in addition to identifying each action properly we have to implement a custom rotations editor. It is planned, but it can not be implemented before the core combat module is complete.

    Something like just setting miqobot to listen to what you do in-game and teach her what you want her to do.

    This feature will require an additional algorithm for analyzing user’s performance and generating custom rotations on the fly. It can be implemented only on top of the custom rotations editor.

    No, this feature would not allow Miqobot to learn new abilities. Every action must be implemented manually by the development team in the form of identification template. Only after that Miqobot will be able to identify and analyze it.

    Will other combat assist functions apart from monk work?

    All features, including Assist Mode, will be broken during the first week of complete Miqobot downtime.
    After week 1, yes, job rotations besides Monk should be functional as before.

    As always, we are making the necessary preparations to fix Miqobot for Patch 5.4 as fast as possible.
    According to the patch notes, there are significant changes to all features. Miqobot will be broken and we will have to reimplement the broken parts from scratch.

    Due to the amount of changes introduced by the patch, we expect at least 72 hours of complete Miqobot downtime.

    All active license codes will be automatically extended in order to compensate for the downtime.
    The bonus time will be credited at the moment Miqobot comes to life again, and it will cover game maintenance and Miqobot maintenance both.

    Here is a tentative schedule of what to expect after the arrival of Patch 5.4.
    Please note that this is only an approximate plan for upcoming weeks. It may change depending on the updates revealed in Patch 5.41 and additional information discovered during development.

    1. Approximately 1 week.
      Core upgrade.
      Complete Miqobot downtime.
      All active subscriptions will be compensated for this downtime.
    1. Approximately 1 week.
      Implementation of basic changes and primary hotfixes.
      Release of level 80 Trust Dungeon support.
    1. Approximately 2 weeks.
      Implementation of new gathering mechanics.
    1. Return to the original development plan: Upcoming Features

    Please note, it means that Collectable Gathering will be broken for at least 4 weeks.
    There is no technical way to prevent this. Collectable Gathering is completely revamped and is technically a new game feature. New features can not be supported from the release date.

    In addition, all previously created collectable rotations and scenarios, as well as some navigation grids, will be outdated. Please do not expect everything to be functional as before. In addition to broken Miqobot features, it will take time for the community to redesign and upgrade outdated presets.

    Using ingame crafting macros with Miqobot is possible but not recommended.

    In order to delete a grid, please follow these steps:

    1. Switch to Navigation tab.
    2. Select a grid.
    3. Click Delete.

    Having a level 80 trust support coming out near 5.4 release seems like a waste of time/opportunity to me. The phantasmagorias people are wanting this support to farm for in the first place will be obsolete soon enough. In my opinion, if this is something people are wanting, it should be made sooner.

    Perhaps this point requires clarification as well.
    Implementation of level 80 Trust Dungeon is nearing its completion. This is not the kind of work we can undo and replace with another feature. But we appreciate the constructive feedback.

    Very well, it is time for another community voting thread. Let us discuss further development plans.
    In order to keep everyone on the same page, we would like to reiterate main facts for clarity.

    • We can not implement all new features at once, therefore we implement them one by one.
    • At the moment we are preparing a level 80 Trust Dungeon for release. Gathering updates are planned next and there has also been a lot of requests regarding new scenario functions. Some of these improvements have been postponed for more than a year, and there are users who get very frustrated over this fact.

    • The standard development cycle is 4-8 weeks.
    • In addtion, each game patch downgrades existing features and extends the workload by 1-3 weeks.
      For example, the arrival of Patch 5.4 will introduce 1 week of complete Miqobot downtime, followed by approximately 2 weeks of reimplementing broken features.

    When you vote in favor of a level 61 dungeon (or any other feature), please let us know your preferable location on the roadmap. We have to understand the demand in order to adjust the development plans accordingly.

    We don’t think that a simple poll would be enough when it comes to defining development priorities.
    We prefer to see live constructive feedback that will give us better understanding of the community demand.

    1 – Is it possible to add a notification sound for when the Radar picks up something you listed (like Hunts and such).

    Yes, this feature is already in the development plans. It is currently classified as QoL improvement.

    2 – Is it possible for the Devs to make a thread that is kept up to date listing the jobs and until what level they are 100% supported

    There is nothing to list at the moment.
    Battle rotations are implemented for levels 1-70 only. There is no job with level 80 support.
    The fact that Miqobot triggers some 71+ abilities doesn’t mean that they are used correctly or that they will still be used in the next version. This combat system is in beta stage and each 71+ action is a work in progress.

    This is a very early beta version of the upcoming Combat system.
    It offers limited functionality, may contain critical bugs, and is subject to frequest redesign.

    When the basic level 80 rotations are implemented, there will be a separate post listing all supported abilities.

    Yes, this improvement is already planned.
    The problem, however, is only partly caused by oGCD. The main reason is that Miqobot does not prequeue global cooldowns which results in additional loss of 20-200ms on every GCD, depending on your keybind setup. The lack of GCD queueing system affects all jobs, therefore it will be addressed accordingly on a global level.

    This is one of the most complex adjustments that will require another thorough redesign of the Combat system.
    For Miqobot it will result in approximately +2% DPS.

    Yes, this is one of the guides we have been using when implementing Machinist rotation.
    Miqobot tries to follow it as best as she can while keeping the algorithm reactive and adjusting on the fly. And we continue working on improvements in the order of complexity.

    Are there are any specific adjustments you would like to see first?
