Assist Mode is not designed for automatic activities, therefore it is not available in Scenario Engine.
The feature you ask about belongs to Custom fights and Monster grind feature pack. The combat system is still in early beta and there are several critical updates that must be implemented before this feature becomes possible. In addition, Miqobot will not be able to perform raid mechanics until we manually implement each of them in Miqobot source code. So this feature will not allow you to farm Alexander raids out of the box.
No, Miqobot does not support Gold Saucer GATEs.
If you are interested in farming MGP, we would recommend trying Chocobo Racing and Minion Square Minigames.
Minigames are currently the best known MGP farming method.
There is also a dedicated guide in our Help section: MGP MinigamesNo, there hasn’t been any new features for Heaven-on-High.
The demand for HoH has dropped significantly and our community made requests to focus the development on Trust Dungeons support and other more popular features. Heaven-on-High support has been assigned a low priority. You can find an approximate list of upcoming features in this thread:
Upcoming FeaturesOf course, you can choose whichever method is more convenient for you.
Ignore Hotbar method was implemented upon request from users who prefer to see the cooldown of their oGCD actions. Hiding an ability behind a different icon disables visualization of the cooldown, therefore it was not an appropriate solution.Miqobot reads the required information directly from the game memory.
Code injections would be used to introduce (“inject”) new code into the game client and change the course of execution. But Miqobot only reads data, she doesn’t write anything back. She doesn’t utilize any cheats or exploits of any kind. Therefore code injections are not involved.
All interaction with the game client is performed via a basic keystroke emulation algorithm.
It appears that you have altered the default Target Filter settings in the game.
Please follow these steps:- Open System -> Character Configuration -> Control Settings -> Filters tab.
- Make sure that the following settings are checked:
– Enable target cycling.
– When weapon is sheathed -> NPC/Objects.
– When weapon is drawn -> NPC/Objects.
Did it help to resolve your issue?
Yes, at the moment this is the expected behavior.
If you enable “Show Arena” on Combat tab, you can see the visualization of the positional algorithm used by Miqobot. The algorithm does not take enemy size into account. This is one of the issues that requires a thorough redesign and will be addressed in the future versions of Combat system.
Is it supposed to work like this or is this a bug?
This is not a bug, but this is indeed a behavior that requires additional research and customization.
We do not have a solution at the moment, so if you have any ideas we are open for suggestions. Is it possible to handle this besides micromanaging the skill by removing it from the hotbar?
The preferred method to prevent usage of a certain ability is via Advanced Settings – Ignore Hotbar.
You can find more information in [Beta] Combat thread:Assist Mode – Advanced Settings
In order to access Advanced Settings, please click the
+
button under Miqobot avatar.- Ignore Hotbar.
A hotbar number to be ignored by Miqobot.
You can use it to define abilities that you prefer to use manually.
For example, if you don’t like how Miqobot handles Ley Lines placement, you can drag this ability to hotbar #9 and instruct Miqobot to ignore it. This way you don’t have to use macros and the cooldown remains visible.
Yes, it is possible.
At the moment Miqobot is not able to identify the status of stack mode selection, so this feature requries an additional research stage which can delay other more critical upgrades. At the moment it’s classified as QoL improvement.
But if you believe it’s important enough for the community, we can increase its priority.Yes, additional font customization option is already planned. It is currently classified as QoL improvement.
We will be working on Quality-of-Life improvements after Scenario Engine updates:Thank you for your request.
December 31, 2020 at 6:20 pm in reply to: A little early, but might be worth talking about the next expansion and miqo #25752Thank you for your feedback very much.
We will monitor this thread and will consider all opinions voiced here. There is one point that needs reminding, however, because it often gets overlooked.
2. all job support with skills – given were nearly at the end of shadowbringers now and we still dont actually have full support for all classes at level 80, i believe this should absolutely be a focus.
The combat system of Miqobot is in early beta. It’s a very complex system that requires hundreds of different algorithms combined together in multiple layers of AI. Even if we discarded all other features and focused exclusively on implementing job rotations, it would still take several years of development.
The progress of the current expansion is irrelevant. As long as everyone understands it, we are open to suggestions and can adjust the development plans in accordance with the community demand.
We appreciate your understanding and feedback. -
