    Judging from the message log, this problem is caused by an issue in Sohm Al itself wherein the first briar gate is not unlocked even after defeating all monsters and pollen clusters.

    We received a similar report a while ago, but we could not reproduce it. Therefore Miqobot AI does not have any instructions on how to handle this case.
    We believe that the problem is caused by a lag spike, but since it’s extremely rare we don’t have enough data to prove it.

    Yes, this feature will be a part of the upcoming QoL feature pack.
    In the meantime, please use the workaround mentioned by Arc:

    1. Close your Miqobot.
    2. Open presets.miqo in any text editor.
    3. Disable “Word Wrap” setting. (Located under “View” menu in most editors.)
    4. Follow our guide to understand the inner format: Help – General
    5. Adjust presets order to your liking.
    6. Close presets.miqo and restart Miqobot.

    I encountered the weird bug a couple of other people mentioned in the past, Miqobot Assist stop doing something at a 3rd summons of The Shifting Altars of Uznair.

    I think it was for a lesser summons.
    I tried pause/unpause, stop/restart, didn’t work. We got ejected after, so I don’t know if for the next summons Miqobot could have worked, what I can tell, is that once outside, she started to work again.

    I was running as PLD.

    Yes, we have managed to reproduce this issue a while ago.

    • It happens under very rare circumstances due to a bug in the game client, which allows the Cast Bar to remain active (albeit invisible) if it is interrupted by a cutscene, a loading screen, or in another non-standard way.
    • In addition, another bug may occur randomly wherein the Cast Bar would indicate that it’s not interrupted and is still proceeding normally.
    • When both of these bugs occur at the same time, it affects Miqobot’s ability to identify the Cast Bar correctly. She assumes that a cast is still in progress and therefore does not attempt to perform another action.

    In order to recover from this problem, all you have to do is initiate the cast manually once. You can immediately interrupt it by moving.
    The purpose of this action is to trigger the normal behavior of the Cast Bar, which will allow Miqobot to identify it properly once again.

    As this issue is extremely hard to reproduce, it will take some time for us to design a proper solution.
    In the meantime, if you encounter this problem again please use the workaround described above.

    What would you guys think about a feature to enforce the max collectability. To ensure the solver doesnt spend cycles using hasty touch and observe when i only need the bar to be half full for maximum scrips.

    Yes, this feature has already been requested and planned for implementation.

    In the meantime, if you don’t want Miqobot to use Hasty Touch or Observe you can simply remove them from your hotbar.

    I’ve always been of the opinion that the priority should be small efford, big impact.
    Examples would be inventory conditions (if inventory has 3 slots left go turn in, repair, keep farming, max collectability (to save alot of time), diffrent collectability for diffrent fish, etc.

    I agree that the combat system is massively helpful and has to be done, but it would be good if someone in the team could dedicate some small time to QoL changes, but then again, i have no insight into this teams working and im very happy with the product.

    At the moment we have 1,748 pending minor feature requests. We agree that implementing them would indeed make Miqobot more flexible and versatile, but at the same time the Combat system would never see the light of day.

    Here is the list of settings that must be disabled in order to deactivate 3D Radar overlay completely:

    1. 3D Radar tab -> Show -> Nothing.
    2. 3D Radar tab -> Show FATEs -> List / World.
    3. 3D Radar tab -> Show Gathering -> Out of reach.
    4. Navigation tab -> Show on radar.
    5. Gold Saucer tab -> Racing -> Show -> Rails / Mid-rail / Progress / Waypoints.
    6. Combat tab -> 3D Radar -> Show arena.
    7. Combat tab -> Assist -> Pause -> Show pause status.

    You can verify that 3D Radar is deactivated by looking at the top left corner of the game.

    • If you see a transparent box, it means 3D Radar application is rendering the overlay window.
    • If the top left corner is empty, it means 3D Radar application is deactivated.

    I am curious about when Miqo will use Dissipate once she has access to the level 60 skills /makeyougohmm

    We know of only one situation in which Dissipation usage would be reasonable – when the fairy is under attack and is going to die anyway. But even in this case, additional factors must be considered such as MP level, current Aetherflow stack, and fairy’s own cooldowns.

    I probably sound like a broken record along with 90% of the userbase… but is there any news of an update for the Assist system?

    We are sorry, there is no specific ETA.
    We still need some time before we can make additional announcements.

    Is Miqobot willing to accept volunteers to help test/develop the rotations?

    At this stage of development it takes about 6 months to teach and integrate a new team member. We don’t think that a volunteer concept would be acceptable in this case.

    Will we ever get a feature to play triple triad or mahjong automatically?

    I’m really looking forward to getting the Triple Triad feature eventually, since I’m a collector who wants to have everything I can get eventually. Getting all TT cards (or at least removing all those TT quest icons on every map) is something I want to achieve some day, but fighting the same NPC over and over and over and over and over again, because their card drops are RNG in the 1-5% range is very exhausting.

    Yes, Triple Triad is still planned and we will be working on it after we implement the core Combat system.
    At the moment combat features require full focus from our developers.

    But I’m just curious how hard would it be to adapt some existing open source Mahjong solvers to FFXIV Mahjong; this is not a request, it’s just out of curiosity.

    Interesting experience I wanted to share with the dev team; I was a WAR in a party of all tanks (mount farm), and was in Defiance to just DPS. We had a dedicated main tank who stayed very high in enmity on the chart, and yet Miqo only wanted to use her Butcher’s Block combo. So I did what I’ve done with PLD in Eureka, which was to simply remove the two enmity combo skills from the hotbar (Skull Sunder->Butcher’s Block) so that she would only use the DPS skill chains. Well… Miqo didn’t like that apparently, and simply doubled down on her refusal to use them. Instead, what she did was spam Heavy Swing. Maim->Storm’s Path/Eye were ont he hotbar, but she was like “Nah, I’m good bruh.”

    Yes, we are aware of this issue.
    At the moment Miqobot does not detect MT/OT roles correctly in a party of 3+ tanks. It will be addressed in one of the upcoming updates.
    In the meantime, please make sure that your co-tank assigned with MT role is placed on top of other tanks in the party list.

    I mean the combat stuff is great, but getting some more side features like Triple Triad would help cut down on the monotony, which is the entire point of miqobot

    Yes, additional functions for inventory management are already planned.

    Yes, we have plans to expand scenarios potential after we complete the core Combat system.
    Please note however that Scenario Engine is designed with simplicity being a priority, so it does not offer as much flexibility as a programming language. But we will try to implement features that offer a similar functionality to what you describe.

    We don’t think there is enough time to create this system before Shadowbringers, as we have to finish combat features currently in development and prepare for the expansion. The amount of changes will severely break Miqobot and we will have to reimplement several vital modules from scratch. After the dust settles a bit, we will be able to work on Scenario Engine upgrades.

    Miqobot is capable of farming Squadron Dungeons in a fully autonomous mode.
    All classes and jobs are supported, including healers.
