So all I’m gonna say here is my personal experience with MMO minion.

Minion is an extremely powerful bot. Things that require writing out extensive scenarios can be done with one button press, and honestly done better than Miqobot. With that said though, it is more expensive. It can do everything Miqobot can do and more robustly and easier to use, but it costs quite a bit more money.

Minion is very good when it comes to combat. It can auto grind fates. It can do quests. And it can assist you. It can assist in PvP

And more but…

It has a very robust Trust system. Every trust is available and can be completed quite fast. Good leveling etc. But, it’s a one time paid addons.

It has assist/combat profiles that are very good. This can be used during fates or dungeons, or used to do the combat for you while you control movement. People have reported getting pink parses in savage with the profile doing all the combat, just need to move for mechanics. But, it’s a one time paid addons PER class. However the free profiles aren’t horrible.

It’s crafting and gathering capabilities are very robust. Often times the developer will have everything programmed. So you just select what you want, and it will do everything for you. Select what you want to gather and what you want to craft, and it’ll do it all in one fell swoop. It has a pretty good auto solver. Can do masterbook crafts pretty decently. But, this is a myriad of one time paid addons. This is very expensive.

It has more utilities, such as the ability to have game chat fed into discord. Auto do retainers. Lots of quest stuff, like it will do the MSQ for you. It will do beast tribes for you. Hell it even will complete the fishing log hahaha. Do eureka, do deep dungeon. But once again… paid addons.

I should say some of these paid addons are VERY expensive. One time payment addons a lot with a subscription. For me personally I used Minion for combat based stuff. And once I leveled all my combat classes I would unsub from Minion lol. I would use miqobot for everything else. Minion the user has less control. I really enjoyed how customizable miqobot is, and writing your own scenarios is quite fun.

I’m not here to endorse MMOMinion, I’m just giving you my honest opinion, and some of the addons that they have. It is powerful but quite a bit more expensive. There used to be a large amount of free content made by the community, but it kind of has died down.

Finishing my fully automated ocean fishing scenario. Hopefully I can use it in the future!

I’m currently trying to get miqo’bot to help me with some crafting achivements. To be precise, I’m crafting HQ items when doing the “craft X times for level Z-Y” because HQ items also counts towards the “craft X amount of HQ items”, so I made a very simple macro that only uses Trained Finesse and Basic Synthesis (my crafters are all lvl 90) and put said macro on my hotbar with a one-key command to reach it. As the title suggest VERY new to miqo’bot and am very unused to the technical terms and how coding works etc, so my miqo’bot stops at selecting the item I want to craft and then nothing happens.
For what it’s worth, using miqo’bot for fishing, trust dungeons and gathering works like a charm so I don’t think it’s got anything to do with my keybind setups.

Would be awesome 2^31! Even better if we could assign a hotkey for buff-food/syrups

I am terrible at making scenarios And was hoping someone could assist me on making quick easy one. I just need a scenario that allows me to move spots every so often while fishing for Northern Herring. If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all. So it seems basically gathering and selling. I shall have to work on my gathering as the only one i have is Fishing.

Ill figure it out I guess. I am so used to WoW and how that works that this game just feels so odd to me.

I am about to finally get to Endwalker, its been a struggle but nice at times, and I am starting to think about how to make myself some Gil for things. Are there any good ways with MiqoBot? I have not really touched anything but Bard and Fishing. I understand I will need all the gathering and crafting professions. Assuming I had these what could I use Miqo for to earn some Gil and get the most out of this great tool?

For me personally, the current functionality is already pretty solid. The main thing I’m eager to see though is Reaper/Sage basic rotations and Lv81 Trust Dungeon implementation, then I’ll be really happy, that’s all Miqo is missing in my eyes.

The bot is very usable currently, here is what I have used it for:
– I managed to clear P1 savage blue parse on MNK using combat assist, my masterful blitz was messed up but it didn’t matter.
– Daily roulette combat assisted works well on almost any class at lv90, I have tried SCH, GNB, WAR, BLM, and DNC.
– Crafting using macros in crafting bot is almost as effective as having a solver. Having multiple presets helps.
– Moneymake tons of gil. Gather, repair and extract materias, often while I’m watching a YouTube vid on second monitor.
– Chocobo racing still works, so getting MGP is still possible and easy, I run it when I go AFK for like 10mins at a time.
– FSH to max level was easy, new fish skills overrated. Also filled out all the fishing logs using current fishing bot.

Would be nice to have a webhook that sends events for specific triggers, for example, scenario completion, crafting completion (if crafting from the crafting tab), gathering completion, fishing completion, boot got stuck/fatal error, and possible more but those seems like the core one.

With a webhook we can add any other behavior like turn off the computer, notify me on slack, this would be super useful.

miqo sometimes skip using Patience II after the buff has run out, and keep cast-ing. GP was more than 600, enough for the skill.
is there any fix for this? kinda annoying that i have to manually use the skill and checking miqo every 2min

Yeah, for the second grid it’s not safe without a dismount. I added it in Version 2, thanks. (You can download it above and delete the old Scenario.)

This is a replacement macro. So you trick Miqo into using it, by using the icon of the ability Miqo actually wants to use and putting it on an earlier position than your original ability. (Hotbar number has higher priority than hotbar slot, so hotbar 1 will always be chosen over hotbar 2)

For the problem itself: What is Miqo saying exactly in the logs? Because I guess that you might have set up the Macro wrongly, so that your Cast ability never gets executed, which will lead to miqo finishing the fishing step after a few failed attempts to cast the rod. On which client language do you play?
