Something kinda weird and fucky is going on making it so I can’t complete command missions.
Miqo is using the select nearest object/npc hot key to select chests and objects to interact with. The problem is as you approach these items the squadron run up in a triangle formation around you, and when it hits the target nearest object/npc it targets the members of my party rather than the chest/objective.
The log isn’t very informative, as it just says Ready for objective #48 (chest!) with no sign of an error in sight.
This is Stone Vigil.
It’ll just sit there selecting/deselecting the squadron member indefinitely.
Here is it trying to cross the door to the boss. Walks up to door, squad fills in around – and then it just selects squad members.
(12:07:51 AM) Battle FINALIZED.
(12:07:51 AM) #49 complete!
(12:07:51 AM) Navigating to objective #52 (interact).
(12:09:58 AM) Can’t complete objective, it’s not working :/
(12:09:58 AM) #52 complete!
(12:09:58 AM) Navigating to objective #53 (boss).
(12:10:33 AM) Oh noes, I couldn’t reach the destination in time. I guess I’m stuck here. 🙁
(12:10:33 AM) Time/Estimate: 33.5838/33.5795
(12:10:33 AM) Sorry, can’t move. I got lost in the woods, and I can’t find way back home.

Is there anyway to get Miqobot to use more of my system resources to speed up the crafting algo?
I have a 7700k and 64 GB of ram. Miqo only ever uses 20% of my processor.
I also have a server i’m thinking about setting miqo up on which would be running dual e5-2880 with 300+ GB of RAM. If I could tax that thing to do some serious math, i’d love to.
I really don’t think I could have worded it any better.
I mean – just for some perspective, you have the other bot I use at about $6.70/month. Miqobot is excelling in ease-of-use and being the only functional chocobot out there. We’re not nearly as robust though, or feature rich as the otherbot. Bottom line, it is a LOT more bot for your dollar.
I’m on the miqo-train right now because of the rapid-development, and trying to create new niches of functionality (like the crafting solver)
I’m paying the money for Miqo because of these things – but the idea that there will be a large impact of feature development and refinement to support Dx9 makes me nervous, to say the least.
Dx9 support is something that would nice, don’t get me wrong. It totally sucks that Goblin cannot consistently bot due to that issue. I think adding functionality to create more value for the bot should be the top priority now though. It makes more business sense.

It’s definitely a DX11 thing, but it doesn’t actually have to do with the bot. That error is pretty big, – and from what I can tell is unique to FFXIV
If you haven’t already – I suggest a full re-install of your graphic drivers, using DDU to make sure you completely wipe out the old ones.
It maybe ever worthwhile to just reload the OS – I know I like to reload my OS once every few years just for good measure 🙂
I don’t actually think this will do anything, but from an administrator command prompt, run
sfc /scannow
dism /online /cleanup-image /restore-health
sfc /scannowPersonally I’m against implementing DX9 – you guys are making crazy progress on the bot – you’re already about where basabots was, and are on your way to the big hitters like MMOMinion. Just my 2 cents.
–edit–
Not to mention you are developing unique features to Miqo – like a crafting solver, and this is the only really viable chocobo racing bot out there right now. Feature development should take priority before DX9 imo.

I know R-300 gets you the most.
What i’m talking about is cost/benefit ratios. The R-240 bird was big because of the massive cost/benefit of it.
With all the increases in awards and drop in cost of 3rd tier feed, it may have impacted the cost/benefit ratio of the R-240 build – which is why I said it might be a worthwhile topic to revisit for long term farming.
Not to mention with the experience buff – the amount of time required to get to R-240/R-300 has significantly dropped, which is another factor to consider.
I obviously know that R300 has the greatest amount of MGP/win – that wasn’t at all what my post was about.
Also remember that Chocobo Racing got buffed across the whole spectrum. The R-240 vs R-300 numbers probably need to be revisited. Because:
-
Races now give more MGP
Feed is now significantly cheaper
Races give more EXP which makes getting to retirement easierMaybe we should start putting together some info 🙂
