The primary thing I have to say towards people who complain that feature X is not added or that the team isn’t working on feature Z Y and M, is to piss off and create your own bot.

No really, do it. If you know how that makes it even better, make your own. Then potentially they will figure out how incredibly difficult and annoying it is to make something like this and and maintain it while still adding new features while old features keep breaking so you need to go back and fix them.

Programming is essentially a Jenga game that always falls on you no matter what you do. Something somewhere will break and it will take time to fix it, and then something else falls.

I’ll remain subscribed to Miqobot as long as I’m playing FF14 and as long as it’s maintained.

That’s not to say I wouldn’t love to have something like the Trust system implemented already, yes I know you’re working on it. However, at the same time, I really couldn’t care less. It will come when it’s ready, be that in a week, or a year, I really don’t care, it’s ready when it’s ready. I’m fairly sure quite a few people share that mindset.

Entitled peasants will always complain no matter what. I work in Customer Service for now, and have been for the past 3 years, and even if my choice of words does earn me a vacation from the forums, so be it.

There is a certain amount of customers for any application that are complete morons. Usually have a relatively low level of education and limited capacity to understand new concepts and ideas while behaving aggressively and choosing to belittle everyone else for not doing X Y and Z, while they do not understand even the basics of how difficult what they want done really is.

Also, as a quick question for the Miqo team if you lot are actually going to read this, leaving out 5.2 since that one just came out, were you able to catch up to all of the SHB changes or are you still playing catch-up? Just out of curiosity really.

    Edit 1: Typo
    Edit 2: Typo again
Edit 3: Edited the edits in, makes sense doesn’t it?

Miqobot doesn’t use damage prediction. Using TBN needs to be done at very specific times for optimal performance especially in savage.

If you ask about 71+ crafting, then there is no preset at the moment.

As we stated in the main status thread, Crafting Solver was not tested with 71+ content and may perform unpredictably.
Please refer to this post for detailed explanation: Shadowbringers – Miqobot Status

We are already working on new crafting math.
If you are not satisfied with the current state of Crafting Solver for any reason, please consider resorting to macro crafting for the time being.

If you would just use the search function.

Unsure if this has been reported already or not, for dancer both Fan Dance(level 30), and Fan Dance 2(level 50) get ignored when they proc, they have to be triggered manually.

My dancer is only level 64 so I can’t test all the skills up to level 70, so far it’s only those two that don’t trigger automatically.

Either that or something on my end is broken.

The miqo dev team already have a system in place to decide which one to automate. Just check out the squadron they only select a certain few to automate.

The squadrons are that way because they are most efficient when it comes to time per experience gain, all of which needs to be calculated for optimal results and I’m fairly sure all that is done by hand.

We’ve been paying PayPal fees since Miqobot launch.
We never imposed subcharges for accepting PayPal as a payment method, and we will never ask our users to pay the fees for us.

The recent changes on PayPal have no impact on buyers, therefore we do not see a reason to change the payment platform.

Would you please give us more information about your issue?
Why are you concerned about seller fees?

Paypal overall has a rather garbage history, more recently they’ve started de-platforming and banning people with political views that don’t match theirs.

Keeping 30 cents from a transaction, few people would argue against that, but keeping 2.9% is plain and simply theft. It’s there purely to increase their profits, when a transaction is cancelled, they still keep that 2.9% without doing any work, the computer simply moves around some data and that’s it.

The entire practice is quite anti-consumer and anti-merchant.

It’s largely a case of wanting to know if there will ever be alternate payment methods simply because what PayPal is doing plain and simply disgusts me and I would rather avoid dealing with them if possible.

I am having a bit of an issue with Miqo 3.23. I am not sure if its caused by activating assist or simply running Miqo. Miqo seems to be moving the cursor way out of the way often to the left, often causing me to leave focus of ff14. It is most easily reproduced simply by using character inspection and trying to rotate your character. You will see your character spin out of control and very rapidly.

There was an issue like that a long time in FF14 itself, I had a similar issue. It was down to the game spaghetti code and how it interacts with the OS. After I reinstalled everything on the computer, OS included, that issue was fixed, I don’t think that one is caused by miqo.

Edit: Since here is most likely where one of the developers will read, I bought this bot recently after a quick discussion as to why it wasn’t opening on the forums, it’s an extremely easy to use and straightforward bot. I already at least a dozen custom-made scenarios that I created for myself with relative ease as well as gathering areas, patterns etc. I haven’t found any issues yet, thought if I find any I’ll let you know.

All in all, you people are amazing.

Just add an exception to the correct folders for where miqobot.exe is and where miqoradar.exe is and any AV is fine

Not all of them play well with miqobot.

For example BitDefender doesn’t, even if you add it to the exception list everywhere, it will still not allow miqobot to function correctly.

Fixed it, I’m using this combination now.

    key(f12, 0.5) //target placard

    key(num0, 1) //confirm
    key(num2, 0.5) //wake cursor
    key(num0, 0.5) //confirm
    key(num4, 1) //cursor left
    key(num0, 0.5) //confirm

    afkFor(00:00:01)
    repeatChapterFor(24:00:00)

Testing it right now, seems to work without any issues. I’m not sure where to post it but if anyone else needs it, there it is. Tested and functional.

Edit: Ran into some issues, it was too fast for everything to keep up, slowed it down a bit.

Issue fixed, I dumped the entire anti-virus, it seems it’s invasive enough you can’t even actually fully allow software you trust to go through it that bitdefender doesn’t trust.

Also, I see the script, and i see it’s written not to move the mouse.

Is alt-tabbing and moving the mouse then an option or is it best to leave the game running with that thing on?

Edit: Answered my own question, however that scenario is broken. It doesn’t actually buy it, it automatically selects No and then repeats it endlessly.

Nice, looked at how bit-defender interacts with my PC, apparently it forces everything into a read-only status, you can’t take it off that, no matter what. Time to throw the entire anti-virus out the window as that’s a massive problem.

Also, is there by any chance some script somewhere for this bot that can be used to spam the Purchase land button on a house?

Edit: After checking, while miqobot is on read-only, it does have the permissions to write whatever it needs to, so that shouldn’t really be much of an issue.

I’ve gone through the log of my anti-virus if that’s what you mean, the only thing that’s out of place is the fact that miqoradar.exe was spotted as Malware and apparently completely deleted from the computer, once that happened I added all the files to exceptions, including that one, though it doesn’t seem to want to create itself again.

I’m fairly sure it’s the anti-virus still doing something, what I don’t understand is how the hell is that possible when miqobot has every exception possible, as far as the anti-virus is concerned, the entire hard drive partition where Miqobot is located is completely off-limits.

There is something else still blocking Miqo. Maybe you have another antivirus installed. Windows has a few services of its own like Windefender or Smartscreen so check them too.

Smartscreen has been stopped completely since I installed the OS, Bitdefender turns off Windows defender completely and pretty much replaces it. If an app is allowed through bitdefender, it’s immediately allowed through W10 built-in anti-virus. Which it is.

Miqo has been allowed through everything, I don’t actually have where else to allow Miqo through. It already has every permission possible, if it was a self-aware AI it would’ve taken over my computer at how many permissions it has to do anything.
