The only problem with Bard after getting to 80 is Miqo not using Apex Arrow (which is in the patch notes) and using Sidewinder for AoE when it could use Shadowbite. Thanks for your hard work Miqo team, really appreciate it!

I want Miqo just for the combat assist

And I already can’t take you serious anymore.

I dont care if you take me seriously or not, I mainly use Miqo for combat, as I used other bots for WoW

I also have a off-topic question. I am new to FFIX and just bought my account. I just started playing a week ago, and within my playtime I haven’t seen any communication or whatsoever. No trade, no people searching for parties, no /yell, no random chatter, absolutely nothing. I haven’t come across any form of communication between players. So far, this game feels like a single player game! Is this normal!?

I had the same thing happen to me, but that went away after joining a Free Company. Game gets much better with communication. Most people do is type “o/” when they’re in dungeons and that’s all. I’ve seen a few people yell for fate groups too.

    Even when miqo releases all combat rotations up to and including lv 80, it’d still be wise to only use it in certain parts of the game (pref solo content);
    – leveling
    – lower levels of deep dungeons
    – leves
    – grinding materials from mobs
    – FATEs

Whilst the rotations “worked”, there’s a lot that’s really suspicious if you use them (and they aren’t min-max either).
I know exactly who is using a bot when in a dungeon, due to stuns and ranged attacks going off whilst the other person gets out of melee range, tanks retaunting instantly, healers having a weird prio system in miqo, etc.

And for the love of god, don’t use them in current-content high-end duties and raids.
The more running and jumping and all that stuff (tactics), the less miqo will properly be able to throw out her rotation.

What’s the point of having a combat routine if you’re not going to use it for current-content raids etc?

I got my character’s main job to level 46, and my gatherer’s are at level 50. I want to rank up my GC but have no seals. I’m quite lost on what to do except for the main quests. Is there a way to farm GC seals without the squadrons other than FATEs etc? Also what should I do except for the MQ’s to get ready for the new expansion? Thanks!

For GC seals you do your grand company hunting log first of all, since you can’t get higher ranks until you finish them and they give seals on the other side as well. Daily roulettes such as guildhest or leveling give you a bit seals, and if you get there as played in need you even getting bonus seals. Also once per day you can also do gatherers and crafters GC delivery, if you getting ones with stars they give you double seals. Fates can give seals too, but as for me it’s boring and too less of them, though you can still try on your own and decide if you like it or not. Good luck! ^^

Thank you so much for answering! I’ll try to do these as much as I can

So you’d like to know if there is another way to farm GC’s successfully besides Squadrons, fates, and gatherer material turn in? I mean what could be left? A staring contest? No, those are the ways one farms GC’s. Sohm Al, a fully automated squadron scenario supported by miqobot is the number one way to farm GC’s. I’m constantly at my seal cap just from trying to level my other jobs. However, if you are leveling your gatherer and crafter jobs you will get some decent seals just doing the daily turn ins for exp.

Now the second question, that’s totally up to you. I think the number one recommended thing to do prior to expansion is completing MSQ. I mean what else would matter? You answer that question and you have your answer. Level jobs, do quests, or make gil, am I missing anything?

You being a person who does not have a level 70 and therefore hasn’t completed the MSQ, that should be your only goal. You must complete the MSQ to get access to most of the game. It unlocks Areas, dungeons, jobs, movement and travel options, it is the game. Personally, I didn’t understand that when I started and thought it was about getting a job to max level and i’d complete the MSQ later… It just doesn’t work that way. Focus on the MSQ and you will get a job to 70 in that process. Otherwise youll end up with a 70 doing the MSQ and not caring about the rewards, which makes it even worse then it already is to run all over the planet.

Thank you for answering, I’m already focused on getting level 70 on my main job first, I just wanted to learn what to do after I get 70 because I didnt want to feel lost. I just started playing 2,5 days ago and I’m not someone who plays MMO’s a lot so I get lost quite easily

You can use Miqo for crafting and gathering since level 1.

    For gathering
    1. Select an item you want to farm.
    2. Download the grid from the index: https://miqobot.com/forum/forums/topic/index-gathering-grids/
    3. Adjust it to your own needs and let it run for 5-10 levels.

Then choose another item and repeat. Its a good idea to grind quest items as you will have to do it anyway.
    Miner: https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Miner_Quests
    Botanist: https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Botanist_Quests
At level 50 you can start farming collectables.
At level 52 you can use leveling scenarios: https://miqobot.com/forum/forums/topic/index-scenarios/

    For crafting
    1. Go to ffxivcrafting website: https://ffxivcrafting.com/crafting
    2. Select job and levels 1-10.
    3. Click Synthesize.
    4. Use my scenario generator: https://miqobot.com/forum/forums/topic/crafting-scenario-generator/

Then buy raw mats from NPC and watch Miqo fill your crafting log. Repeat for the next 10 levels until you hit 30 or so. Then choose a simple recipe with easy mats and grind it for as long as it seems reasonable. When you hit 50 start doing levequests and farm red scrips.

Hey uh where am I supposed to paste the custom crafting scenerio in miqobot?

Thank you, will definitely give it a try!

Edit: I get this error when I try to use the copper ore gathering scenario ” ERROR (Chapter 1, Line 1): Syntax error. Expected format: function(arguments)”
