Both steps 5 and 6 are optional. If you dont use automatic navigation you dont have to worry about a grid.

Nope the only way Miqo can navigate on her own is by using a navigation grid.

I dont think theres a single one. Youre probably the first person to ask about this feature since its release. Its not popular so nobody really bothered to make a grid.

I dont get these constant complaints about updates to be honest. Ive been a subscriber for years now and in all this time Miqo did its absolute best for me. Im one of the top crafters, ive cleared multiple raid tiers and two ultimates with her, ive got two large estates and billions of gil, all thanks to Miqo. $10 is such a cheap price for all the crazy features we get. But i guess some people will never be satisfied no matter what. Oh well.

From Miqo documentation:

Function does not explicitly detect scrip limits. However after 4 ingame errors are displayed, function will stop and break scenario flow. If you want to continue delivery regardless of scrip limits, specify “ERR_IGNORE” as parameter.

Heres what i use.

My slot 1 on hotbar 9 is empty. Miqo simply clicks nothing every 10 minutes but the game takes it as an input which prevents afk kick. It doesnt have to be a hotbar slot you can press any button you want. Even a simple key(c) will work.

Click the button with question mark. It will open Miqo documentation which should answer all your questions. Heres the entry for randomAfkFor().

randomAfkFor( minSec, maxSec )

Do nothing for random number of seconds.
Selected value will be between (or equal to) the specified minimum and maximum.

Parameters
minSec – minimum seconds to AFK
maxSec – maximum seconds to AFK

Miqo will always mooch every fish if its possible. Just enable mooch in settings and youre good to go.

The author of the preset you use did not create waypoints for all courses. He made it for Costa del Sol only so it will work only in that course. Its not an error its just an information message.

Because its the most efficient way of farming and the default way of movement for 99% players. People usually make grids for themselves first and share them later. You dont make something you wouldnt use yourself right? There are a few non flying grids in the index but not many.

If it doesnt work for you try making one yourself. Once you get familiar with editor its easy and fun.

Miqo doesnt support housing natively. This scenario is just an emulation so its as fast as it can get. If you try any faster you will end up skipping steps due to lags and it will simply go out of sync and stop working.

Yep you have to go into Shadowbringers and unlock those by doing main story. They are Trust Dungeons.

Attune to all aetheryte shards in Gold Saucer. There should be 8 of them.

Put a waypoint next to every node and connect them with lines. Miqo navigates only along the lines and if theres no line she wont go blindly. If you want her to navigate a certain path make sure to draw that path first.
