    I would just need an example GM message to match the regular expression.

    I wonder if someone here was contacted by a GM and survived to tell the tale 😉

    At the moment we have 1,793 pending minor feature requests.

    OOH GEEZ… so this is THE PRICE of new combat system – delay in implementation of sooo many nice little details %) which makes me wonder if new combat is really as valuable as expected…

    But if everyone agrees that it has to be done, we will of course add this to our development plans.

    Which instantly makes me think of a voting system: some additional subforum with ability to vote for requests, so Miqo team can make a simple “select from <subforum database> order by <number of votes>” and start implementation from top voted requests!

    I don’t think it’s as important as you describe it… Even if player farms manually, (s)he does not HAVE to answer immediately. One can have food/etc consumables ticking down, CPs ready to gather a collectable etc, so there is no surprise that one finishes his primary objective first, and answers to a random tell later.

    Though, I’d really REALLY like a notification feature: player-defined sound played by Miqo every time you receive a tell! I’d set up a loud siren to have 101% chance to catch my attention even if I’m sleeping next to botting comp, hehe…

    A question about “turn in” part… well, it does not work. I guess it’s about keybinds, but anyway – I don’t even understand how it is SUPPOSED to work! I mean, it’s just a key sequence, without any built-in-Miqo memory reading? Ok, it selects NPC, but then it has to select collectable line in the appraiser’s window (which is different on different levels), and then choose collectables in your backpack one by one. You are supposed to have an empty backpack or something? to make sure your collectables are in the first slot of the first backpack? I’m really confused here %)

    Ahh, nice to hear that!

    Maybe it would be good idea to add a sticky closed topic of a single message containing all “planned for implementation” features, to prevent reposting?

    Most people enjoy playing different jobs as opposed to sticking to “whats best for farming”.

    Playing manually, you mean? I wonder how do you remember skill rotations for each of dozen DoW/DoM jobs o_O I personally have troubles switching between my char and my GF’s char (two different dps classes)…

    Those are the two ways to go about it and shouldnt require any recoding, just conditions.

    I have to agree here. What does any bot need at most is 1) a lot of different sound notifications and 2) a lot of condition checking to let users fine-tune their toons for their personal tasks/taste, until everyone gets his fully optimized full-afk bot for his preferred task. Granted, most users will leave most of these conditions at default values, never ever modifying them; but I bet everyone finds several variables for his personal task which could be lifesaver (or at least great performance booster). Also, adding these notifications and condition checks should be way easier (and thus faster) than major tasks like crafter solver or combat engine…

    I better level up the few 3-4 jobs I have left.

    Out of curiosity: is there any sane reason for doing it other than the obvious “for fucks and laughs”? I mean, by this time ppl should have probably figured out which 1-2(-3?) DoW/DoM classes are best/fastest at grinding stuff out of mobs, so why bother to level up the rest? Well ok, a class you like to play, maybe two or even three of them (preferred tank, heal and dps), plus a class for bot farm, but why more?

    Hmmm… speaking of ways to make gil (to choose from). Not that I’ve tested it myself, but there are certainly some others:

    – hunts: allied seals and stuff buyable using them (not sure if it can be automated using Miqo, nor if it can be monetized into gil);
    – beastman repeatable quests and tradeable stuff bought with this currency (Bear Fat is the first thing which comes to mind);
    – company seals and stuff buyable for them (ventures, minium, cordial etc) – I wonder if they accept any craftable green stuff as expert deliveries?
    – Gold Saucer, chocobo racing etc – are there any worthy and tradeable stuff that you can buy for MGP (to resell for gil)?

    If there was an universal “best way”, everyone would follow it, which would produce lots of competition and ruin any profits. You have to discover your own “best way”; and even if you find one, it won’t work for more than a day – until you overstock market with your farmed goodies… so you will have to seek for a new “best way”.

    “slightly” is the keyword… Neither of these ways to level up require any investments – unlike desynth. And it’s not like leveling desynth up to 300 is just “slightly” harder than staying at 80…

    I understand it, yes… though, this way game devs could as well just forget about any balance. “It’s worthwhile in terms of personal enjoyment, so ppl will do it anyway, so who cares about balance?”

    Or… is this actually the way they deliberately chose to go?

    Ok, look at it from newcomer’s PoW. He (me) comes during SB and levels up his char to 60+. Once MSQ is done through lvl60 dungeons, basically he has no real need to return to this older content. Now, he wants to train desynth… so he starts daily roulettes. Sometimes he gets trown into lvl50-lvl60 instances, sometimes into lvl20 or lvl55 (which do NOT bring needed loot/tomestones). So, basically, he collects a heap of mixed lvl50, 60 and 70 green/blue items. He collects them for goddamn MONTHS (because he needs 20-40 items of each “tier” to even start training desynth). Finally he decides that he has enough, desynths everything, trains desynth up to 300 and… realizes that these months were wasted for nothing. I mean, really, what do you gain from these roulettes? Exp? You know how easily can it be gained via squadrons – WAY easier than via dungeons. Loot? You don’t really need outdated stuff (unless for desynth). Do you know any other reason to consider this time NOT wasted?
