Miqobot v1.3.31 – Patch Notes
Note: This version does not contain any critical updates.
It will not trigger the “New version available” message. If you have no issues with Miqobot v1.3.30 running as Administrator and don’t need the Starlight Minigame support, you don’t have to download this version.
Fixed Issues
An alternative solution for game interaction is implemented.
Miqobot no longer requires Administrator privileges to connect to the game client. However, we haven’t been able to test the new solution on all possible Windows installations, therefore we can not guarantee that it will work for everyone. Please keep an eye on the message log in case this issue occurs again.
Starlight 2019 Minigame is supported
New scenario functions are implemented.
Full documentation is available directly in Miqobot. Press?
button to open it.- npcStarlight() – Perform the starlight rhythm minigame at the closest NPC.
- setStarlightReward() – Set reward pattern for the starlight rhythm minigame. Default is 3.
- setStarlightAim() – Set performance aim for the starlight rhythm minigame. Default is great.
- npcQuestStart() – Accept a quest from the closest NPC.
- npcQuestComplete() – Complete a quest at the closest NPC.
Note: This is a bonus update for the ongoing Starlight Celebration event.
New scenario functions allow farming the starlight minigame for unique housing rewards. The algorithm is by no means perfect and may accidentally miss some of the rhythm diamonds, but since the event is time limited we don’t think that perfection is required. In addition, performance aim is slightly randomized and additional settings allow you to control the randomization factor.
- critical – Miqobot will try to align input perfectly with each diamond.
- great – Miqobot will randomize input by hitting diamonds at Great or Critical.
- good – Miqobot will randomize input by hitting diamonds at Good, Great, or Critical.
Please be careful and try not to interrupt Miqobot’s performance with your own input, otherwise the inner pattern tracker may get out of sync and fail to complete the minigame.
This is an interesting suggestion.
Would you please give us additional details from your understanding of the problem?- How would you suggest we implement this artificial limit?
- What would prevent users from simply restarting Miqobot to reset the cooldown?
- What would prevent users from using a mouse macro to restart Miqobot and click the button automatically in a loop while being AFK?
- What would prevent users from trying to hack Miqobot in order to remove the cooldown?
- Does everyone agree with this artificial limit?
If you ask about 71+ crafting, then there is no preset at the moment.
As we stated in the main status thread, Crafting Solver was not tested with 71+ content and may perform unpredictably.
Please refer to this post for detailed explanation: Shadowbringers – Miqobot StatusWe are already working on new crafting math.
If you are not satisfied with the current state of Crafting Solver for any reason, please consider resorting to macro crafting for the time being.I have 2 miqobots and is there a way that I can run them both from same folder?
Yes, it is possible.
– The first instance of Miqobot saves your license in catnip.license file.
– The second instance of Miqobot saves your license in catnip.license2 file.
If you launch two instances from the same folder, they will activate with two different license codes. If thats possible then everytime I change settings or grids I dont have to do it twice.
No, it is not possible.
Settings and presets are loaded only once when Miqobot application starts. If you want to make adjustments to your presets, you have to use a single instance, click Save, and then start the second instance.
We sincerely apologize for inconvenience.Unfortunately Patch 5.18 has broken a very important module in Miqobot which was crucial for this feature.
We have managed to implement an alternative solution, but it took us five days to get here and we still have to upgrade the algorithm for 2019 version of event. We are very sorry, but it will be released only on the last day indeed.

Endgame rotations support is at 80% mark.
But the last 20% is the hardest part because this is where we start working on extreme optimizations in the context of raiding environment. It’s a very complex system so it’s impossible to provide any kind of reliable estimate. We don’t think that Miqobot will ever be able to achieve 100% performance. At the moment we aim to reach 90% of optimal DPS. The cost of every additional improvement after that grows exponentially, but we will continue working on them if there is enough demand. As soon as we finish all the critical upgrades and hotfixes for recent patches, we are planning to return to the concept of iterative beta versions. Combat rotations will be gradually improving over time.
Would you please clarify your request?
If you mean the Combat system in general, then we are currently at 10%. We have released only 2 features so far (Squadron Dungeons and Assist Mode) and we’re planning about 20 more (Trust Dungeons, PotD farming, HoH farming, Eureka Support, MSQ, Questing, FATE farming, Monster Grind, Custom Fights, Rotations Customization, Raiding support and several others which haven’t been announce yet).
Yes, we have plans to expand scenarios potential after we complete the core Combat system.
Please note however that Scenario Engine is designed with simplicity being a priority, so it does not offer as much flexibility as a programming language. But we will try to implement features that offer a similar functionality to what you describe.Thank you for your request!

It would be nice if there was a “startCombat” command for Scenario even if it only worked in dungeons to enable assist and targeting enemies (no dodging), but that might be a feature for later? Not sure what they have planned for the combat engine.
Yes, Custom Fights for Scenario Engine are already planned along with many other combat features.
Please note that Combat system is still in early beta. We are doing our best to release new features as fast as possible, but this is a very complex system and it will take a lot of time to implement properly.Thank you for your request!
No, we are sorry, at the moment there is no API.
We will add this to our development plans for future improvements. Thank you for your request! However, please remember that running Miqobot unattended for extended amount of time is not recommended in the first place. No matter how many failsafes we implement, Miqobot will always remain a tool to help skipping the boring parts of the game, but not a replacement for playing it completely.
You can find additional information in our guide on Technical and Social Safety. If you think that certain Miqobot algorithms have to be adjusted to reduce failures, please report the issues you discover to our Tech Support: https://miqobot.com/#support
Some features may work, but this is not guaranteed due to a different resource management mode which is aimed to preserve energy rather than perform effectively. When signed out, your FPS may drop too low for Miqobot to perform any actions.
You may continue using Miqobot in this mode, but please do so at your own risk.If you require additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact our Tech Support: https://miqobot.com/#support
