    frankly simply allowing combat assist to work in a scenaro would allow us to make our own unsynced dungoens just make it as sugested above work in an instanced area if your concerned about people abuseing it in the open world

    Thank you for your proposal, but we are not going to introduce artifical limits on this feature. It’s not a good idea to invest significant development resources in a major feature pack and then prohibit its use in 80% of the game content.
    When it is released, it will be available for use in private instances and open-world both.

    The only thing I would say Miqo could do is import the work they’ve done with the waypoint system for gathering, and have some rudimentary implementation in the dungeons that would allow people to have or make themselves a “combat” grid, where you would follow waypoints and automatically target things.

    Yes, this is the way we plan to do it for Custom fights and Monster grind feature pack.
    However, a rudimentary system will not work for Combat content. We have to make sure that the system is flexible and functions properly before releasing it to the public. Therefore there are several critical updates that must be implemented before this feature becomes possible.

    But again, that’s very much unnecessary work for something that will have a very small niche usage. If the Miqo team says it takes 4-8 weeks to implement A DUNGEON, implementing something like this would be a bigger undertaking I’m sure, and I’m not truly sure if the time investment into the feature would actually make it good.

    Implementation of this feature will require approximately 3 development cycles of 4-8 weeks each.

    It’d probably make it good in the future, because people could map and share their own paths for the new dungeons so you could potentially Trust run them, but I’m assuming it would be iffy at best, wonky at worst.

    It will not work for running Squadron or Trust Dungeons, because this system will not be capable of performing boss mechanics automatically.
    Without additional algorithms, Miqobot will simply stand in acid puddles and AoE omens. In order for synced dungeons to be supported, we have to manually implement each mechanic in Miqobot source code. This is why it takes a full development cycle to implement a single dungeon.

    Yes, all of these features have already been requested and planned for implementation in the future updates.

    Yes, we have plans to add more options to the list of supported dungeons by Miqobot.

    However, implementing a single dungeon takes a full development cycle of 4-8 weeks. Our resources are limited and we can not work on everything at the same time. So before we start working on new dungeons, we have to understand the reason behind this request and why it would be more beneficial for the community than other features.

    There is no technical difference between Feast and Frontline rotations.
    If we implement PvP rotations, we will not be able to limit them to only certain PvP modes.

    Regardless of the mode, PvP rotations will require the same amount of work that was invested in PvE rotations, so it’s not an easy thing to do. We may consider including them in the development plans, but first we have to see that there is enough demand.

    Assist Mode is not designed for automatic activities, therefore it’s not possible to use it for farming monsters.
    The feature you ask about belongs to Custom fights and Monster grind feature pack. The combat system is still in early beta and there are several critical updates that must be implemented before this feature becomes possible.

    Will the combat assist module be anywhere near the highest priority?

    It is already at the highest priority possible.

    i was hoping that at least gathering and crafting function is unaffected.
    so that we can make some money. but it seems we have to make money before the patch release.

    When the Endwalker expansion arrives, it will break approximately 90% of core Miqobot modules.
    We expect several weeks of complete Miqobot downtime. No feature will be functional in any form.

    After that, Miqobot will support only level 80 features.
    It might take anywhere from 3 to 12 months before Miqobot is fully upgraded for level 90.

    We don’t think that implementing housing minigames support will make them more comfortable.

    We have received information from multiple sources that playing the same minigame for several hours non-stop is likely to result in account suspension, even if this activity is performed in a private locked house. There is reason to believe that a server-side script is constantly monitoring your private house activity.

    In fact, we are concerned that implementing this option will significantly increase the ban rate.
    As players will be deceived by a false sense of safety in their houses, they will leave Miqobot running unattended for much longer than they usually would at the Gold Saucer in the presence of other players. Therefore this feature remains a low priority for now.

    There has been no changes to Miqobot application recently, so this issue is most likely caused by external interference.
    Some antiviruses may get anxious about overlay rendering applications, such as Miqobot’s 3D Radar, and decrease the overall performance by constantly scanning it.

    One of the things you can try is to disable 3D Radar.
    Here is the list of settings that must be disabled in order to deactivate 3D Radar overlay completely:

    1. 3D Radar tab -> Show -> Nothing.
    2. 3D Radar tab -> Show FATEs -> List / World.
    3. 3D Radar tab -> Show Gathering -> Out of reach.
    4. Navigation tab -> Show on radar.
    5. Gold Saucer tab -> Racing -> Show -> Rails / Mid-rail / Progress / Waypoints.
    6. Combat tab -> 3D Radar -> Show arena.
    7. Combat tab -> Assist -> Pause -> Show pause status.

    You can verify that 3D Radar is deactivated by looking at the top left corner of the game.

    • If you see a transparent box, it means 3D Radar application is rendering the overlay window.
    • If the top left corner is empty, it means 3D Radar application is deactivated.

    The purpose of this action is to interrupt the ongoing cast which will be interrupted anyway due to the target being already dead.
    Without it, your character is not ready to attack the next enemy until the game client cancels the cast automatically. Depending on circumstances, it may take up to 4 seconds of casting a spell on a dead enemy.

    Please note that this behavior is relevant for casters only.
    If you experience it with melee or physical ranged jobs, this is a bug which must be investigated separately.

    Yes, better Diadem and Ocean Fishing support are already planned as a part of upcoming Gathering updates.
    Time and weather-based chapter selection is something we wanted to do a long time ago, but other features have taken priority.
