At this stage of development it takes about 6 months to hire, teach, and fully integrate a new team member.
If the period of activity lasts long enough to justify the investment, then of course we will consider it. But this process is not fast either. As we already explained, dominating the market is not our goal.
We are just a small team of players who want to make the game a little better than it already is.August 6, 2021 at 4:05 pm in reply to: With all the new subs will you be working on this more? #31533Unfortunately no, it doesn’t mean that Miqobot will get more updates.
The increase of new players means an extremely high load in the Tech Support department. We are already working much more than before, but 90% of our workload consists of answering questions and providing technical assistance.
The most favorable time for development is the state of lull before new patches. The time when most players have achieved everything they wanted and are taking a break from the game and Miqobot both, which allows us to shift the focus from supporting existing features to actually implementing new ones.
However, the recent events have replaced the usual period of calm with unprecedented hype.
Until this storm is over, the progress on new updates will be very slow.August 5, 2021 at 5:56 pm in reply to: Feature Request: (Assist Mode) Lower Priority/Ignore DoTs #31525Yes, AoE math is not perfect and may not trigger properly when enemies are not packed tightly enough or if you select an enemy at the edge of the pack. This issue is not related to any particular class, it affects all jobs.
We have plans to improve combat geometry algorithms, so in the future it should become better.
Thank you for your feedback.August 5, 2021 at 10:23 am in reply to: Feature Request: (Assist Mode) Lower Priority/Ignore DoTs #31518All right, we will add your suggestion to the list of potential improvements.
Thank you for your request. Please note, however, that DoT in Samurai rotation is already set at lower priority. If there are several enemies in front of your character, Miqobot will skip Higanbana and proceed to accumulating Tenka Goken instead.
As for healers, there is a simple workaround. When you wish Miqobot to ignore DoTs, you can temporarily remove them from hotbar.
PvP rotations are not supported at the moment.
They will require the same amount of work that was invested in PvE rotations, so it’s not an easy thing to do. We may consider including them in the development plans, but first we have to see that there is enough demand. If you wish to voice your opinion about PvP support, please reply to this thread:

or do i have to stay in the “walled garden” you have built for us?
There is no walled garden.
There is an algorithm that is incompatible with housing minigames. Implementation of a new algorithm requires a significant investment of development resources and entails high risk.Indeed, this issue indicates that you haven’t removed keybind conflicts from chat actions.
You can find instructions on how to avoid this problem in the [Beta] Combat guide.Important Note!
Please remove any keybinds from “Reply” and “Switch Chat” actions. If you use the common WASD style for navigation, there’s a very high chance that a keybind collision will occur if Miqobot sends key input at the same time.
For example, if you assign Alt+1 – Alt+= to a hotbar Miqobot uses at the moment and press S at the same time, the resulting keybind will become Alt+S which by default triggers “Temporarily Switch Chat Mode to Say”. This will activate the chat mode in the middle of the fight and break your movement completely.
In order to avoid this problem, we recommend to fully clear the Keybind -> Chat tab.(You can leave the first two actions intact: “Ready Chat Log” and “Ready Text Command”.
Assuming they contain no Ctrl / Alt / Shift modifiers.) -
