    We assumed that our users would always follow the publicly available statistics, and that was our mistake. But of course, in order to maximize player experience a setting to customize number of hits for Veteran Trade is necessary.

    Yes, the ability to reorganize grids and presets is already planned.
    It will be a part of the upcoming Quality-of-Life feature pack.

    The Diadem route is supposed to be created at the first launch of Miqobot in a new folder. This is indeed weird that you do not see it in the list of grids.

    Have you experienced any issues with saving your grids after restarting Miqobot?
    Could you please verify that your antivirus is not interfering with Miqobot’s ability to create and save files?

    We will attach the example route for Diadem to this post.
    Please note that it was created back in Patch 3.1, when the Diadem zone was not yet divided into upper and lower areas. Therefore it may require adjustments in 3D Editor to work properly.

    Yes, this has been already discussed in Patch 4.3 Status thread.

    • If node has 4 attempts in total, Miqobot will use Veteran Trade only after 1st hit.
    • If node has 5 attempts in total, Miqobot will use Veteran Trade after 1st or 2nd hit.
    • If node has 6 attempts in total, Miqobot will use Veteran Trade after 1st, 2nd, or 3rd hit.

    We agreed to implement an additional option to apply Veteran Trade after 2nd hit for 4 attempts as well.

    However, we still don’t understand the reasoning behind your choice of fish.
    According to FF14Angler database, Black Boxfish and Regal Silverside have the same catch rate of 38.5%: The Adventure
    We expected that our users would select both of these fish for Veteran Trade, since they are only interested in Snow Crab.

    Would you please explain, why do you select only one fish for Veteran Trade?

    Several other leveling methods have been introduced by the game since we started Combat development, and FATEs are no longer the best. Therefore our priorities changed as well.
    The core combat system is 90% complete and we are now making announcements of the upcoming features.

    Squadron Dungeons

    Starting from Patch 4.1, it is possible to enter a dungeon with 3 unit members of your Adventurer Squadron.

    This leveling method is significantly faster than farming dungeons normally, because there is no queue time. A limited set of dungeons is available at the moment, however new ones are being unlocked with every major patch.
    With the latest addition of Sohm Al, it gives the best experience per hour rate up to around level 60, and still remains viable after that.

    Miqobot will be able to farm the selected dungeon of your choice by interacting with NPC in Squadron Barracks, for as long as you want or until Grand Company seals are depleted.
    Although the price for a single run ranges from 1,000 to 3,000 seals, about 60-70% of the cost returns in form of dungeon gear which can be used for Expert Delivery. Additional scenario function will be implemented to automate the delivery process as well.

    The core combat system will contain:

    • Seamless omnidirectional battle navigation.
    • Detecting and avoiding obstacles.
    • Multiple AoE dodging.
    • Maintaining positionals.
    • Maintaining line of sight.
    • Battle rotations for all classes.
    • Squadron engage / disengage / limit break management.
    • Complete understanding and execution of boss mechanics.
    • Automatic switching between combat and normal navigation.
    • Automatic recovery after KO.
      (KO events will be rare, but a recovery system will be put in place regardless.)

    All dungeons are carefully scripted by Miqobot team with a comprehensive list of objectives. All you will have to do is select your squadron party, choose a dungeon, and click Start.

    Here is a preview of our Combat Pathfinding system.
    The algorithm is designed for fast on the fly calculations and is capable to provide instant reaction.

    Cell meshes are generated directly from navigation grids and thus become highly customizable.

    Combat Radar Preview

    This feature will become a special test area for creating and fine-tuning AI behaviours for each role and job.

    After the core system is stabilized, we will introduce Palace of the Dead and Heaven-on-High support.

    This issue is only possible if you forgot to restart Miqobot after Patch 4.3 Emergency Maintenance.
    There is no need to redownload, but restart is required for Miqobot to upgrade.

    Would you please restart her and verify your issue once again?

    Great to hear! wondering what else will be in there.

    There will be many different improvements, such as automatic pause for chat, ability to reorganize presets, ability to search through presets, and lots of others.
    QoL features will be introduced over the course of several releases.

    What I meant was the grids used. Sometimes I download a persons grid and itโ€™s configured as a grid that doesnโ€™t use a mount or vice-versa. It would be great if theres a option available to override/ignore the movement option and make it something else (like turning walking into mounting or the other way around).

    This is possible by the means of a simple text editor.

    • Open downloaded grid in text editor.
    • Press Ctrl-H.
    • Find what: “mount”
    • Replace with: “foot”
    • Click Replace All.
    • Save and import the modified grid.

    Automatic detection of certain movement type is not possible, because Miqobot has no means to understand whether this kind of movement is available and / or unlocked on your character and the current location. Waypoint type is a mandatory property for Miqobot to behave properly.
    You can find more information in our Navigation guide.

    However it may be possible to implement a feature for 3D Editor to evaluate multiple waypoints at once. But it will take some time to design properly.

    In the meantime, please use the method described above ๐Ÿ™‚

    Miqobot is partly broken after Patch 4.3 Emergency Maintenance.
    The changes are minor and will take approximately 30 minutes.

    Well, they are called Advanced Settings ๐Ÿ™‚
    This button is intentionally designed to not attract attention, because most of the time they don’t have to be changed. There is a tooltip that says “Advanced Settings”, and we thought it was enough.

    But all right, we will think about alternative design in the future.

    The message you see means that Miqobot is unable to navigate the game cursor, because there is an unsupported keybind assigned.
    0xA3 is a hex code for Mouse Button (4), which we assume you assigned to ‘Move Cursor Up’.

    In order to emulate mouse buttons, we would have to disable your actual mouse and you would lose control over it. This would make background mode completely impossible. Therefore Miqobot does not emulate mouse buttons.
    Please assign keyboard only to all cursor navigation actions.

    It is worth noting that the game allows two different key settings for each action.
    So in order to fix this issue and keep your preferred keybind at the same time, please do this:

    1. Assign non-mouse key to primary keybind for ‘Move Cursor Up’.
    2. Assign Mouse(4) to secondary keybind for ‘Move Cursor Up’.

    As long as Miqobot has a keyboard button for that action, everything should be fine.
