In reply to: Shadowbringers 5.58 – Issues & Feedback
Have there been any changes from 1.3.34 to 1.3.35 in the technique you use to hook the keyboard in combat assist, I keep running into an intermittent issue where my joystick input is being interrupted by the assist mode key presses, almost like the application is intermittently losing focus in very short intervals.
No, there has been no changes. Miqobot uses the same WinAPI method as before.
We would recommend to verify whether this issue is caused by Ctrl / Alt / Shift keybinds and whether removing them resolves the problem.
Also, please try temporarily disabling your antivirus. Certain third-party programs are known to interfere with Miqobot application, especially with a new version.Unfortunately, Miqobot does not support and has never been tested with Gamepad Mode, therefore we can not troubleshoot this issue except giving general recommendations.

We received similar reports from other users in the past and they informed us that the problem had been resolved automatically after a certain period of time.
Here is another thread with a similar issue: FPS lagUnfortunately we haven’t been able to reproduce it, therefore we don’t have a guaranteed solution.
We would recommend to restart your PC and try disabling antivirus and any other applications that may interefere with 3D Radar performance. If you manage to discover the cause of this issue, please let us know.

I’m a new user, on the trial version of 1.3.35 (deciding whether to buy) and maybe I’ve done something wrong, but Miqobot is:
- Not reporting any errors in the log (entire startup log visible in first screenshot)
- Showing errors in the monitor tab (see screenshots)
- Unaware that I am logged in when I click the “attach to…” button (see screenshots)
- Not constructing a new nav grid properly (no new node is created beneath me, probably because she can’t find me)
I checked the FAQ, both the quick setup and not working sections, and I have all of the listed keys bound, my camera mode is legacy, I only have a mouse and keyboard so it’s not in controller mode, my mount flight mode is auto, and Miqobot is running as administrator. My antivirus is ESET, which has never silently interfered with a program – if it thinks there’s a problem, it’ll announce it. I checked its log files anyway, and there are no messages about Miqobot.

A reminder about antiviruses.
Since this is a new version of Miqobot, it may be flagged by your antivirus as False Positive because its signatute is not yet known. As it is stated in our FAQ section, Miqobot is not a virus but antiviruses are usually trained to sic at anything that tries to interact with other programs. Miqobot will make no attempt to fight your antivirus.
Please remember to whitelist your Miqobot application after download. Thank you!

If you see the message that Miqobot is corrupted, it means that your antivirus is still blocking an essential part of Miqobot application.
The file that was blocked is miqoradar.exe.
It is located in your Windows %temp%\miqobot\ directory.
Depending on your antivirus, you might have to whitelist this directory along with the main application.July 2, 2020 at 7:05 pm #22584Topic: 1.3.34 Radar not working
in forum DiscussionI get a message on startup that miqo is corrupt, but then it continues to startup and everything works except radar. I’m not running 2 copies and it’s already whitelisted in the firewall and antivirus. 1.3.33 works fine and I only get this for 1.3.34.

Miqobot saves your settings and presets in these two files:
- settings.miqo
- presets.miqo
They are generated when you first start Miqobot and are automatically updated when you close Miqobot.
Do you see these files being created and updated next to your Miqobot application?
If not, then something is blocking her from saving your presets.
Please try the following solutions:- Try running Miqobot as Administrator.
- Try moving Miqobot to a different folder.
- Make sure that Miqobot has full write access to the folder she resides in.
- Make sure that your antivirus and firewall do not interfere with Miqobot.

This issue indicates that something is blocking your Miqobot from connecting to our license server.
Our license server is located at the same host as our website.
And since you are able to access the forums, it means that Miqobot executable is indeed blocked. Usually it is caused by a third-party application, such as antivirus or firewall.
Please verify your antivirus and firewall for any recent events that could cause this issue. If this information still doesn’t help, please contact our Tech Support directly:

@iifetap, don’t be stupid. Just put the .exe in a separate folder and whitelist that specific folder.
i.e. Windows Security -> Virus & Threat Protection settings -> Exclusions
Oh and you might have to temporarily turn off the real-time protection when moving the file to the whitelisted folder. I have my download folder for Chrome whitelisted so I can’t say for sure.

April 18, 2020 at 12:37 am #21555According to the message log you provided, the game client was abruptly closed.
This issue may be caused by a server disconnection, but it may also happen due to antivirus or another third-party application blocking Miqobot. The second issue indicates that you moved the mouse cursor when Miqobot attempted to initiate game cursor movement by keyboard.
You can find detailed explanation of this problem in the Known Issues section. If this information doesn’t help and you require additional assistance, please contact our Tech Support directly:
