@drewmark – I’m also wondering whether the team can just impliment Refulgent Arrow usage in the next update, as that will pretty much round out BRD’s 70 DPS rotation. I can see why it wouldn’t just be a quick update, as they would have to code Miqo to determine when to use or hold onto Refulgent if Barrage is coming off of CD soon and such, but it would be such a welcome addition to see it happen before ShadowBringers drops. As it is, I don’t expect full 70 rotations before 5.0, and I’m wondering how much of Miqo’s combat progress will be set back with all of the reworks and rebuilds coming in just 3 months’ time.
@arc, not yet unfortunately. The beta mostly addressed Healer/Tank/Ninja bugs and QoL stuff, and implemented Soft Lock, which was the best part of the update imo. Unfortunately most ofnthe rotations are still only up to 50, and the ones that had some 52/54 skills already implemented still have those, but no changes. Hopefully it won’t be much longer, Inreally want to see if Miqo starts lining Wildfires up with overheating once the 55 skills are implimented and Gauss Barrel enters the picture 😀

I’m surprised this has gone unanswered for 2 days 😛 – the short answer is yes, if you queue into am instance with other players with Miqo running on the other account, it will be noticeable.
The long of it: Combat assist only handles the rotation – and only up to level 50 at the moment. It doesn’t handle dodging any mechanics, it doesn’t handle movement outside of positionals, etc. You would basically have to be moving both characters and still handle everything else on character 1. You *could* use follow, but you would have to select that every time Miqo uses an action. And this kind of behavior is very noticeable by other people.
Having said that, it is possible to do other fun stuff with combat assist and two accounts. I two-man farmed Turn 13 with Miqo DPSing and healing on SCH while I ran WAR, and it was a blast. I just set her to follow quickly during the divebombs and everything else was a breeze. Also got my Domitrix title from Turn 9 savage doing that with both Miqo & I as SCH’s. The idea is you just get Nael down in health a tiny bit and just heal through all the damage until she starts her enrage while still in phase 1, and then burn her down while healing and shielding her enrage blasts. So you just leave Miqo to do nothing but heal and it’s super easy. Stuff like that.
So no, for your own sake please don’t use Miqo to run two accounts with other players, but please do enjoy combat assist 😛
You wont see that kind of attitude here. Miqo team support is very friendly and highly professional.
This really cannot be stressed enough. Miqo’s team will answer your questions very quickly, and they strive to solve bugs/issues as soon as they possibly can. Miqo honestly has the best customer support system I’ve found, well… anywhere. It’s kind of spoiled me. On top of this, the community here is really something special; everyone is helping everyone, really. I think if you try out a one-month subscription you’ll be hooked, not only by the multitude of things you can do with Miqobot, but by the people you interact with here on the forums as well ^^
The Assist Mode is very promising, while not being able yet to use 2 of the strongest BRD abilities, Miqobot pulled 5450 DPS with current BRD BiS, no potion, no food, no party buff, while I did 6500 DPS.
She’s just 16% behind, really promising. Also, this feature is really refreshing, in the sense that I’m never able to watch an end-game fight that I do, I only discover it later on recording, but during it, all I can see is party list, enmity list, buff, timers, but not the actual fight itself, so using the Assist Mode really allows to cut in half the attention required and allows to enjoy the fight in a new way, at least for me.
This certainly will help to learn/decipher mechanics faster in 5.x Savage and Ultimate, great tool!Same! I’ve been farming Seiryu EX all day on BRD with Assist Mode and with about 50/50 380 & 390 gear, and the Seiryu Greatbow, Miqo is pulling between 61-6200 DPS. The last run was 6134. All I do is watch for RA procs and keep Empy on cooldown with some manual Foe’s & Barrage usage. With just those 3 things to focus on, the fight is way more fun, and I’m free to concentrate on calling out mechs for my fiance when he’s sitting next to me ^^
Thanks for your hard work team, I can’t wait to see the next big update!!
Just in case anyone is curious about end-game content use: RDM, WHM, and SCH all have their full 70 rotations in this release. I ran an expert roulette with SCH and Miqo did pretty well. DPS uptime was 100% and she kept the party alive just fine, we had one death but this tank (DRK) didn’t use any CD’s, was pretty under-geared, and made the mass pull with the two large worms in The Burn. With a better tank, Miqo would’ve been just fine. My WHM run was glorious, and even netted 3 commendations, so apparently the party members appreciated Miqo’s fabulous work as well!
Re: Jobs without full 70’s rotations yet:
NIN actually pulls pretty decent numbers, but Miqo won’t use Dream Within A Dream, Duality, Armor Crush, or any of the Ninki Gauge skills. Using them manually (via controller or hotbar) you can pretty much use assist mode to get that full 70 rotation in if you work with her and it plays out smoothly.SAM, MNK, and DRG I wouldn’t suggest using yet as you will be fighting with Miqo over the rotation half of the time – especially MNK. SAM is close, and probably could pass by in 70 dungeons, and like NIN you could most likely just toss in the Kenki skills yourself, but I couldn’t quite meet my own numbers so more testing will have to be done.
On my BLM I pull 6800 DPS in my current gear. In the Lv.50 rotation, Miqo pulls 4800 – so a significant amount of damage loss. No surprise, but had to be sure. SMN can’t really be used unless you just want Miqo to spam Ruin III for you while you weave OGCD’s in between, but then she’s not going to know when to Ruin II in order to double weave at times, so it’s really not the most efficient use of assist mode yet.
BRD & MCH: Brd is decent, it’s able to down the Tsukuyomi SSS dummy in a near-full 380 set, and does use skills up to Empyr.Arrow. My MCH, however, out-DPS’s my BRD by a significant amount, and even without optimal Wildfire usage (or not using rapid fire, for some reason; I just manually pressed it when WF was about to happen) its DPS is impressive. So while the full 70 rotation isn’t available, I would safely say you could run it in 70 dungeons and other than another MCH, no one would probably notice a difference, as you’d still be pulling more DPS than the average DF player.
Tanks: they will pretty much just stay in tank stance and use their 50 skills to hold enmity. If you swap out of tank stance after gaining a good foothold in enmity, Miqo will just put you back in. So, leveling dungeons I’m sure will be fine 50 and below. I haven’t really done any extensive testing with my tanks yet other than seeing what rotations/skills she will use at 70.
Things of note:
Ran PoTD with RDM, and it should be noted that Miqo will NOT heal herself via Vercure if she’s going to die, so you will need to be vigilant. I haven’t tested whether or not she will automatically Verraise a downed party member, but plan on squeezing in some Rabanastre & Rhidorana for coins today so no better place than Hashmal to find out ^^When tanking, Miqo will cycle through available CD’s for mitigation. She has a set list of choices, so certain skills go unused by the time a previous CD is ready. Therefore you can plan usage out of those unused skills when you need them. Neat! ^^
Overall: this is a very fun and promising function! I can’t wait to see how much customization gets implemented in the future!

One thing I’m having an issue with is that whenever I go to activate Assist Mode, I get a message that a keybind for “Target Last Enemy” is missing, and that single target healing spells are impossible and will be disabled, despite having a keybind set for Target Last Enemy.
Nvm, it was a user ERR, as most of my obstacles are 😛
This… it’s everything I’ve dreamt of <3 – It works so beautifully. It’s even a terrific dps rotation tool. In my current gear, I was only able to achieve 5700 dps on my RDM, but Miqobot pushed 6000 dps just now (LOVE that the full 70 rotation is working flawlessly on RDM btw) and it taught me a few things just watching her work her magic so that I, too, can get closer to those numbers. To any SMN players out there about to play with this, be warned: Miqo won’t use the upgraded DoT’s (B&M III) for obvious reasons; she’s pushing rotations for 50 and below. It’s not a bug, and she’s not broken, just a work in progress – and a beautiful one at that!

TL;DR: Thanks so much for your hard work, team!!

The forecast to assist mode however is what’s most interesting, since Patch 4.5 is coming on the 8th of January and that’s not far from now 😀
For sure! I can certainly wait for a 50 Squadrn dungeon, but I’m really looking forward to playing around with the combat assist feature!

This is what OP is referring to, and it’s totally common. It’s server latency/lag, and ost gatherers already know about it and will get a good chuckle out of an interesting vid clip. No biggie, don’t sweat it, anyone who gathers isn’t likely to report you when they see it 😛

It very well could be your GP, I believe the CollectableSB rotation by default requires 650 GP. How much do you currently have? Are you using food? If you don’t quite have the GP to hit 650, you can try removing the +5% Gathering skill (or +15%, which would make it 700 GP:P) at the beginning of the rotation, which will reduce the GP requirement to 600 GP to execute. But yes, if you don’t have the GP at the time Miqobot begins to gather form the node, she won’t execute the rotation, which can lead to her getting stuck there.

Yes, this approach would probably work for level 70 exclusively.
But since we are implementing rotations for all levels we still have to consider cases when there are not enough abilities to make the rotation completely static. Also, Miqobot supports both single-target and AoE rotations and for seamless performance they have to be fully entangled. That’s why our battle algorithms are based on multi-layered priority systems, which in addition to the advantages mentioned above are capable of picking up the rotation at any moment in the fight and even handling extreme lag spikes.
Stop, please; I can only get so erect…
Yes, of course.
Precise customization options will be implemented for all roles as we move closer to complete level 70 support.…aaand there goes No Nut November.
