There might a tiny time drift, mine broke after 4 full rotations at afkUntil 00:01et at step 1 for a full eorzean day (which is over an hour and naturally hit afk timer and logged out).
Not sure how to fix it.
It should be almost impossible to end up stuck on the afkUntil(00:01et) line, if it was already in the loop. I guess you might have started it at one of the later chapters and then it went for 4 full rotations. The default repeat is for 5 times. So around 5 hours (or when you start on a later chapter 4 hours + the time needed to reach the end the first time).
So you might want to change the number of repeats in the 25th Chapter to a higher value.
If you believe it wasn’t that, I would need the logs from Miqo to see where it has taken so long, that you went over 00:01et before you reached the afkUntil line.
Initially, I was very confused about what you meant by the “Expertise” stat. I then realized you meant “Perception”. I suggest you edit that in your original post.
Lol they changed the stat name in german, but not in english… 🙂
Well thanks I corrected it.
No its not, i dont even know where people are pulling these numbers from, ive leveled a class from 80 to 90 using qitana and a class using heros, both dungeons give 1.3 million exp (no earrings, no food, do have rested though) qitana gives just above 1.3m and heros gives just below 1.4m. they each take about 13 hours per class. if you want to optimise, do heros as you earn more seals from the gear trade ins.
I know for sure, that at least from 80 onwards qitana is superior in exp from each boss. And this is in line with every other flat x0 Dungeons (50, 60, 70) they are all far inferior to previous dungeons in term of exp. Heroes’ is superior in terms of trust exp though.
Heroes' / Qitana 1. Boss: 173.512 (+125%) / 390.419 (+125%) 2. Boss: 303.651 (+125%) / 527.779 (+125%) 3. Boss: 390.419 (+125%) / 678.572 (+125%)
I suppose you either miscalculated or have overseen some other exp income, like the agenda.
i cant use this script, i need have a folklore tome for can use this script?
No you don’t need those. But I need more information why you can’t use it. Doesn’t it move to the gathering points, does it give any error logs etc.?
During the node gathering, Miqo stops doing anything when/if 1000 collectability is achieved. If it doesn’t hit 1000, it will collect on the last integrity, or I’ll have to manually select collect if it hits 1000. It appears to be using the skills correctly up until that point, and collects when <1000, but I dont’ know what’s wrong if it maxes out collectability during the process. Any idea what’s going on here?
Normal behaviour of Miqo is to skip every skill that increases collectability, when it reaches 1000. When the rotation is finished Miqo will proceed to gather for every Integrity left.
If that doesn’t happen I think you might miss some skill on your hotbar like Solid Reason / Ageless Words. Or have the Miner Skill (Solid Reason) on your Botanist hotbar or vice versa.
If that is not it, I would need the Miqo-Logs when that problem is happening starting from the point of choosing the Gathering Rotation.
The only time semi-“duplicate” grids/presets caused me an issue was with the Diadem. By deleting all my prior Diadem grids and presets, it worked great, but I had to take that step so that the import tool didn’t skip them.
That should not have been needed. A Grid, Rotation, Gathering Preset, etc. is only skipped if it is the exact same. So if Miqo skips it, then you already have the up to date version of it.
I would think that their file names, preset names and grid names will be the same many times, so I’d want to replace the Grid, Preset, and/or Scenario, so I get the updated version. If only A and C, or B and C had changes, then I’d like to update and overwrite those.
I think you misunderstood the point above as in skipping means you don’t get updates, which is not true.
But it might be nice if we get offered an overwrite if the name of an imported Grid, Preset, etc. match AND is different to the one currently installed. If we choose no it should just make a duplicate like it is doing now.Works great, if you’re looking for a suggestion add in the fishing aethersand in that 4 hour window where there’s nothing to do.
I indeed thought to include that. However I don’t have much time currently and I tried the fishing way a bit and couldn’t find a way to make a reliable Fishing Preset with the grayworm bait. Maybe I had bad luck. But you just would have around 2,5 – 3 Eorzean hours to fish as you need to reduct your stuff gathered from the other chapters as well.
This combined with my failed attempts to get a satisfiable yield of the reductable fish in this short time window with the limited skillset we currently have, had me scrapped the idea for now.
I instead plan to make a fulltime fishing Scenario for this aethersand, but I need more time for that.
If I have time or when someone else finds a good way of fishing for those with the tools we currently have, I might include it as an option, so you can get all aethersands with one scenario.
Thank you for this. I am fairly new at these. Two things. I think something might be off about chapter 1. When I go there, my character doesn’t hit any of the nodes and just sits there.
Yes there was indeed an error, while I was testing with different behaviour with the movement, when you reduce or increase the branch distance I accidentally set the branch distance to 0 for the Mare grid. This resulted in no gathering points where in reach from any given grid point.
I fixed it by reverting the branch distance to 50 again. You can either do that to the Grid
NG-6.0_Aether-Mare
and save it, or delete the old one and download and import the new one attached from here. Thanks for reporting.Just to let anyone working with the ENG version of the game and is trying to use
Thanks, I didn’t pay attention when typing the example macro. I corrected it in my post.
Also, can you tell me how exactly to insert the macro you for ageless you suggested? I have it created already. Thanks again for your assistance and the effort you put into this scenario.
Your question was already being answered (the
/micon
bit tricks Miqo into thinking this is the original skill), but I wanted to add a quote from my bluecrab scenario to clarify how Miqobot chooses the skill she wants to use, when multiple hotkeys are assigned the same skill (in this quote a replacement macro for the skill “Cast” was used, but the same rule applies for every other skill like Ageless words):* Miqobot detects the first “Cast”-Skill on your hotbars for usage. It searches for hotbar first and then the slot on the hotbar. So hotbar 1 will always be preferred over hotbar 2. You can place your normal cast and the cast-macro next to each other and switch the macro to be first, if you are using this Scenario.

Here you go.
this is an amazing scenario! i’m new to the miqobot, and i’m still trying to figure out the INs and OUTs…but if i wanted to edit the rotation for gathering, how would i be able to do that?
under gathering -> skills -> …
you can edit the rotations there. (The rotation from this Scenario are those: “GR-6.0-Get_More-xxxGP”)
Hey, i’m not sure if i’m doing anything wrong but whenever I run the scenario It’ll hover over the mat but it won’t gather it. Any ideas what might be the problem? Thanks so much!
Be sure to have enough Expertise-Stat to gather those. Also have all the needed skills on your hotbar. Look into Miqo-Logs to see which Skill you might be missing.
Hi, I’m not sure if this is because of your scenario or my own settings are wrong? I’ve tried tweaking it so it does different rotations at the nodes, but it requires the use of cordials. I checked off use cordials and saved it on the preset that this scenario uses but it still won’t use cordials.
Keep in mind that using cordials will burn trough them quite fast, when you letting it run for a while (around 12 cordials per hour) and also every cordial just restores like 100/150GP, wasting more than half the GP in the process. I believe it’s not worth it to insist on a 900GP Rotation. In the long run you should be fine with a mix between 800 and 900 GP Rotations.
For this Scenario I expect that you have the GP-Generation-Perk. I think the first one you need to unlock via role quests at level 70 or so. With further Enhancements of it you reach a regeneration of 8 GP every 3 seconds instead of 5GP/3s without any of it. This should be enough to restore at least 800GP for every gathering point and sometimes 900GP.
Most simple way would be to use a macro instead of rotation. You can switch to macro in the gathering preset and then type in the keypresses you want to execute. This however is not very failsafe when you move your mouse a lot.
For the second method you would need to share your rotation as edgedy mentioned.
You could fake a rotation using 850GP instead of 900GP for example if the last skill you are using costs you 100GP:Create an Ingame-Macro like this:
/micon "Field Mastery" /ac "Skillname you want to use instead"
and either replace your Field Mastery Skill with this or put it before it on the hotbar. Then use Field Mastery as the last Skill in the rotation builder. This will trick Miqo into thinking you want to execute Field Mastery using only 50GP, but instead you will use the Ingame-Macro and execute your skill.
Delete the select rotation line. Go to the preset and input your macro and save it so now it uses that macro when the preset is selected.
Actually I found out yesterday, that Miqo ignores at least
rotationIfGP
lines in a scenario, when the selected Gathering Preset has chosen to use a macro instead of a rotation. So no need for deleting the rotation lines.
Not sure if this is also working for a singlegatherRotation
line, but that makes it way easier to switch between macro and rotation used in a scenario.hey man been testing it with the deleted rotation line but it still uses the rotation…do i need to restart the bot?
You shouldn’t need that, but you need to overwrite the gathering preset once you switched to macro.
My macro is this num0, num0, num0, 6, 7, num0, 6, 7, num0, 6, 7, num0, num0, num0, num0, num0
Where 6 is solid reason and 7 is Wise to the WorldIn that rotation, if every solid reason procs wise to the world you would waste a gathering attempt, also it’s better if you leave out trailing “hit nodes”, as miqo does it faster without you explicitly telling her to use num0. Better do it like that:
num0, num0, num0, 6, 7, num0, 6, 7, num0, num0, 6, 7Set up a macro for crafting and in it Miqo is supposed to hi groundwork, final, then groundwork again, but when she gets to Final she just spams it over and over. Does anyone else get this?
That is, to my knowledge, currently normal. Miqo just registers the step as executed when the step count actually progresses. Thats why you currently need to use a workaround for final appraisal, where you create a macro which also executes the next action in your sequence. Like so:
/micon "Final Appraisal" /ac "Final Appraisal" <wait.2> /ac "Groundwork"
and put it on your hotbar.
Edit: Also you need to remove the next Groundwork from your sequence, as this final appraisal button will then execute 2 actions.
You should put the original final appraisal at an earlier position on your hotbar, than this macro. So you don’t screw with Miqobot later, when the crafting solver works again and she wants to use just final appraisal.
