What I did to level my crafters was craft everything in the crafting log once up to about level 35, then I found and item that had a small material requirement and let miqo craft that Item for a few hours then switched to another higher level item. Use food, manuals and FC buffs to make the leveling go real quick. I did this up to level 50, then started spamming collectibles. If you’re just starting out and your crafters are level 0, you can craft up to level 15-20 by just buying mats from vendors near that jobmaster. And as others mentioned, do the dailies from various beast tribes and GC turn-ins.
Make a separate macro for reuse/csII/CSIII (or w/e action you have on your macro after reuse, normally CSIII/CSII) and set that button on your hotbar.
/ac “reuse”
/ac “careful synthesis III”
If reuse procs, it’ll use it. Otherwise, it’ll complete the synth. That’s how my macro is set up:
/ac “Inner Quiet” <wait.2>
/ac “Delicate Synthesis” <wait.3>
/ac “Delicate Synthesis” <wait.3>
/ac “Delicate Synthesis” <wait.3>
/ac “Delicate Synthesis” <wait.3>
/ac “Delicate Synthesis” <wait.3>
/ac “Steady Hand II” <wait.2>
/ac “Advanced Touch” <wait.3>
/ac “Great Strides” <wait.2>
/ac “Byregot’s Blessing” <wait.3>
/ac Reuse <wait.2>
/ac “Careful Synthesis III” <wait.3>The problem is how do I just get miqo to just hit the macro button and then do nothing until its time to hit craft again? As it is now, miqo keeps spamming the macro button and throwing everything off.
While we’re on the topic of the crafting solver, I have a question. How exactly can I use a macro with reuse, while using the macrocraft option? I’m trying to use a macro from Teamcraft that has reuse in the macro, and after I load up the key-sequence in the macro box, it always keeps trying to use reuse if it “fails”, and never moves on to the next key. Is there a way I can just have the macrocraft just hit the in-game macro button and then do nothing until the macro is finished and then make another craft?
In 5.1 (Nov) monsters won’t aggro gatherers anymore.
Do you have a source link for this?
It was in the last Q&A with the developers
Q45:
As a gatherer, it’s frustrating when monsters appear near gathering nodes, especially in the Rak’tika Greatwood where Sweet Marjoram would appear. Would adjustments be possible?A45:
We’ll be making fundamental changes to stealth in patch 5.1, including being ignored even while mounted. Please look forward to future updates!in my opinion what would be much more helpful, would be a crafting macro parser, that makes crating macros in Miqobot much quicker and easier, than manually typing in every single keypress for the macro,
This right here would be perfect.

I love the crafting solver as much as the next person, and hope it gets updated, but y’all acting like it’s useless. In its current state it is completely capable of leveling all your crafters to 80, easily, even without the new abilities. And to make the high end 80 crafts, all you need to do is the current high end gear with the correct melds, and use macros. It takes seconds to make macros, and all of them are already all over the internet. Stop acting like the sky is falling because the crafting solver isn’t high on the list. I think some of you are just really misinformed.
Please forgive my silly question, but what is the intent of this scenario? I suspect the intent is not to literally gather a stack of everything in Shadowbringers, but I’m not sure how best to split it up into targeted items.
I mean, you could just use to to gather stacks of everything. But its also a great resource to have if you need specific items, just find it in this scenario, and copy/paste it into one you make.
August 28, 2019 at 12:42 pm in reply to: [SCENARIO] Il Mheg Spearfishing (Aethersand) and Legendary Farming #16983Fully automated thanks to the originally author, I only changed the gathering rotation for it. Currently the 750 GP rotation is the best we have as Pick Clean hasnt been added yet.
Just a heads up, even though they arnt supported yet they can still be used as a macro option instead, I’ll just copy/paste what I wrote in another thread explaining it.
Ok, I forgot that macro harvesting was an option, and even thought the help section does not explain it very well, I figured it out. After loading the scenario above, go to the gethering tab and load the gathering preset for Mist Spinach, click on the MACRO button instead of ROTATION, in this block you can set up a string of macros, for my layout, to get max yield, it would look like this:8,9,num0,9,num0,9,num0,9,num0,9,num0,9,num0
My 8 key is Pick Clean, and my 9 key is Bountiful Harvest 2. Num0 will execute a gathering attempt, then it will sendkey9, and so on and so forth.
