Hello Miqobot support team I tried to take a video of the bug happening. I wasn’t able to capture it exactly as my screen share video time ran out but this video shows what normally happens however instead of selecting the second one like its suppose to it selects the first one causing Miqo to run out of materials early and moving on the to next scenario item.
Hello, Miqo support team. Any word on this issue its been a couple months and this bug is getting super annoying. You can basically reproduce it with any large number of crafts in the scenario engine above 100 and using ,2 as a recipe indicator. This scenario should reproduce it. I believe it just need to check that the correct recipe is selected before hitting craft.
//Pre Crafts:
solverPreset(rec IQ)
craftCollect(off)
job(Armorer)
recipe(Molybdenum Ingot,2)
craft(100)
job(Carpenter)
recipe(Zelkova Lumber)
craft(50)
job(Goldsmith)
recipe(Durium Nugget)
craft(100)If you use the num pad keys to select the spot in your inventory and then close out of it Miqo will select the same spot / item. I’ve used this with fairly high success in one of the materia transmuting scenarios that I wrote. Not 100% idea as it does require you to pre-select a certain spot in your inventory but it does come in handy 🙂
February 23, 2018 at 3:53 pm in reply to: Reason for not leaving your bot on for a week when sleeping. #6470Yeah I run up to 4 game clients at once and it really takes a beating on my CPU so Miqo doesn’t have a lot of room to work with which is why it takes 5-6 minutes even with 4:1 Ingenuity + Manipulation.
But yeah if I babysit it I can manage but most of the time I doing stuff around the house and it expires mid craft and then there is nothing I can do but let it re-calculate 2x
I wish there was a way to snapshot the buffs you have though. I understand that this could get incredibly complicated but it really sucks that the tea is 15 minutes and it could take up to 5-6 minutes to calculate depending on how fast your CPU is. Then with makers mark it takes another 3-4 minutes per recipe.
After just one craft we are halfway through the tea. Once the tea wears out it will recalculate to finish the recipe and then recalculate again once we redo the tea.
I’m not sure on the solution but maybe a way to remember the last calculation and the current so that two are stored in memory and can be used?
should my character move around at all during engagements? i ask this cuz i tend to die repeatedly due to just standing in aoe spots. maybe the standing around thing only effects ranged characters? i am consistently felled by the 1st bosses double swinge and once in a blue moon if i do get past that boss, i get felled again by just standing in the last bosses ice AOE spots.
No unfortuantley I have no way of using miqo to avoid AOEs. I’ve tried timing them based on when I know the mobs will cast the AOEs but that is highly dependent based on the DPS of your party. The best thing I would recommend is using a META squadren party of archer / summoner (Because they heal) and leveling them up mainly so you can max out those offensive traits. Generally you should be able to kill the bosses before they destroy you with AOEs
another question. Should the
ORDERS
UI be up? i ask this because the hand pointer cursor seems to be hanging around the engage button on the squadron ‘orders’ ui even after the the enemies are engaged; im not sure if that cursor is meant to be doing something else like targeting something?.The reason I hit Num. so many times is to constantly try and get the cursor away from the menu. I do this before all interactions like chests and doors. Other than that I found no way to disable it.
Also, my character also tends to target the tank (when num0 is invoked) and then tries to execute the macro on the tank well after all the enemies are dead.
This is normal it will target the tank if it can’t find any other target. But during the next chapter as long as there are enemies it should target them.
finally, despite being bound to ctrl+= i’ve never seen squadron limit break invoked.
There should only be one limit break and its done on the final boss. If you want you can add more keybinds for the limit break to make sure it goes off. As of right now I have 2 in there but its based on timing and dps of your party.
some weird stuff: ive seen my character run through packs of enemies, attack a boss, and get swarmed inside the boss room while i solo the boss :’D
I’ve seen this a few times but this is most likely caused by too many KO events. You could try removing some around the boss sections and it will force Miqo to re-trace her steps and fight any enemies before the boss if they exist. I’ve added so many KO events to try and increase the speed of completion.
i just tried it on a melee dps. most fights before the boss there were instances where character wouldn’t do anything because it was not in range of the enemy to execute any actions. furthermore, upon reaching the first boss, my char wouldn’t use ‘engage’ i likely over looked this since the previous character was ranged and would attack from afar with no issues.
Melee isn’t supported right now as I have no way to reliably close the gap on enemies. You might be able to get something to work if you macro gap closers but even then if they move you are just sitting there.

Sorry I wasn’t able to edit my original post but I posted this before
Oh crap sorry forgot to mention I have H bound to cycle next target on the aggro list. It works better than using tab.
Essentially just rebind your cycle next target on the aggro list to h and it should continue to target even though you might not be able to see them
Lyfox would it be possible to do something similar with https://ffxivteamcraft.com? It seems like this site has many more features and is updated more often compared to ffxivcrafting.
Hi,
I tired it out and i must say it is well done. I am having trouble with my main attack macro but other wise it works well.
Thanks Montie! The combat macros are a little bit rough due to the level sync but in the end if you can fill in that 10 seconds of skills it should be enough dps for the bosses. I find that most of the time if you just stay alive the squad will kill most of the stuff on their own with a little help.
u need to preselect SV (Stone Vigil), then the cursor will always be on that one. sry for my bad english hope it helped
edit: does anyone know a good method to farm grand company seals?
Yep that’s correct you need to manually zone in the first time so its saved and it will enter automatically after that.
If you guys explain more in detail about what’s not working I can help / adjust the scenario overall I’ve made so many adjustments / tweaks over the past 3 months its quite possible I forgot something 😛
