    Wow, that’s extreme.

Then yeah, you can only use it for B ranks in your case.

You might be interested in XIV-Hunt software, it does what you’re looking for, and more. It’s free, it’s new, updated often.

You can sort Hunt by expansion (ARR, HW, SB) and by Rank (S, A, B), as well as any FATES and any Special FATES (Odin, Behemoth, Regina Coeurl, Ixion).
You can attach a different alert sound to any of them.
And the most important feature, it uploads automatically to their server anything a client found, and then spread it to everyone using their client, and report it into your console log according to your filters, with a clickable map flag.

For the alert sound, I took windows text to speech voice, and recorded it while making it say for example: “Attention, attention, a Rank S target has been discovered.”

You won’t miss any Rank S any more, enough players are using the software so that every time someone found one, or even ran by one by random chance, everyone else is alerted immediately.

Another example, for weekly Elite ARR B rank, I just go to the zone, and only there I set the software to alert me for ARR B rank, and I start to explore the map without paying attention, and very soon the software will tell me where it found a B target in this zone.

So, if it is what you’re looking for, get the client here:

I don’t think you can estimate correctly the current number of users by watching the current number of forum active users. And I really think Miqobot is profitable already since a long time, especially if it is undeclared money that escape any taxes.

On the other hand, you can judge the popularity of something by watching how much they get pirated, how much they annoy competitors up to the point of getting attacked constantly, and that’s precisely what is happening since more than a year now according to Miqobot recent declarations.

It’s because Migobot worth it that much (for users and developers) that all this is happening.

I see, it totally makes sense now, thanks Lyfox.

I forgot to say that since Miqobot doesn’t Cordials this way, I since put a sendKey() command to manually spam the Cordials after each Ephemerals, but I’m still curious why it doesn’t work the normal way.

I made a looping scenario based on an Eorzea day, combining some Ephemerals, Red Scripps, Yellow Scripps and Unspoiled, and I’m encountering a weird issue with the Ephemerals.

I don’t know if it has already been discussed before, I didn’t fine any occurrences, but somehow, it seems that gatherTouch() is preventing the use of Cordials.

I made a gathering preset that include the use of Cordials, when I use this preset inside an Ephemeral scenario that doesn’t have any gatherTouch() command, Miqobot use Cordials, but as soon as I place a gatherTouch(), Miqobot stop using them.

The chapter is a classic one:

    selectGatherPreset(EPH Almandin)
    goToWaypoint(0)
    gatherTouch()
    goToWaypoint(6)
    gatherTouch()
    goToWaypoint(17)
    startGathering(1)
    repeatChapter(10)

The preset includes a rotation, a grid, 3 items in Gather by name and Cordials.

The same preset used in an Ephemeral scenario without gatherTouch() is able to use the Cordials:

    teleport(Porta Praetoria)
    changeJob(MIN)
    selectGatherPreset(EPH Almandin)
    workUntil(04:00ET)
    startGathering(999)

I’m not sure where is the catch, the second scenario is time accurate, yields crystals, use cordials, but yields very few sand, the 1st one is time inaccurate, yields lots of sand, but could yield more if the cordials were used.

Also, in the scenario with the gatherTouch() commands, the workUntil() is useless, I believe it gets ignored if the time is not yet met when an other startGathering() command is used. That pushed me to use an inaccurate (in this case) repeatChapter() command, which is unfortunate when a chapter is part of a long scenario accurately based on Eorzea Time.

It’s where I would love to have a repeatChapterUntil() command, or if someone sees a way I didn’t found.

That well known shortcut doesn’t work on fullscreen borderless windowed games, all it does is resizing them into a smaller borderless window, who then can’t be minimised as well with this shortcut again.

And you really need to minimize FFXIV for real if you want to work or play something else.

For example, if you work on Adobe software, which all use tools that feature different behaviours if they are used with CTRL, SHIFT, ALT or combinations of the 3, and if you set up your FFXIV Hot Bars to use one of those 3 shortcut modifiers, every time Miqobot will use them, they will be used in Adobe software as well, totally messing with what you are doing.
Another example, if you set up FFXIV to use some language accent keys for keybinds, and if you are typing in an another software, those accent will be used there at the same time, forcing you to constantly delete the errors.
There is plenty of examples like this, minimising the game is really necessary, and I’m sure very few know how to do it with a fullscreen borderless windowed mode on Windows 10.

For the catnip licence, I don’t know the solution, but I think I remember someone giving a workaround somewhere in the forum, I just don’t remember where ^^’

As for ISBoxer, maybe it comes from a setting mirroring input? I’m not using it myself, so I’m not going to be much of a help, but their community forum could troubleshoot this I believe.

I think what you were asking snake8503, is also how to do it?

Depending on how you set up FFXIV, it can be tricky, it took me a lot of time to figure out how to minimize FFXIV without changing my settings there.

For people using FFXIV in windowed mode it’s easy, just click on the minimize icon of its window.

But where it’s really tricky, it’s when like me you are using FFXIV in fullscreen borderless windowed mode. There’s no border and icons. The only way I found is to bring up the Windows Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) (or right click on Windows logo in the task bar, and chose Task Manager).
In the Process tab, find FINAL FANTASY XIV one, click on the arrow in front of it (>), it will then show the windows FFXIV is using (if you have only one FFXIV instance open, you will find there only one FINAL FANTASY XIV line), then right click on it, and chose Minimize.
If you try to right click on the process without clicking on the arrow in front of it, you won’t have the option to minimize, so be sure to click on the arrow.

From there, your game is really running in the background, and you’ll be able to use other softwares and/or games without any keystrokes conflicts.

Be sure to set FFXIV so it uses minimal FPS when not in focus (there’s an in-game option for this, and you’ll end up with 15-17fps), unless you are doing Chocobo Racing or Gold Saucer minigames, the Bot then need more FPS, so set FFXIV so it uses at least 60 FPS, no need to let FFXIV run with 150 FPS, 60 should be enough.

It really took me a lot of time to figure out how to minimize a fullscreen borderless window in Windows, but if someone has a quicker method than the Task Manager one, I’ll be glad to learn about it.

The notorious ones like ISBoxer, yeah they are safe and used by a big enough community.

Beyond 2 instances you need virtualisation, if you don’t know how to handle it yourself, some software can do it for you, like ISBoxer. Those software usually allow some additional features, like mirroring keyboard and mouse to all instances, etc.

It’s how I gathered enough skins and other mats for some of the 1.0 Luminary Tools I was somehow still missing, so around 6000 HQ leather craft for example, with mobs mats coming from retainers.

I’ve been there, needing thousand of mats mobs drop, for example 4 retainers well geared can bring you 60 skins/hour, around 600 per night with scenario engine (and it’s a very discreet way to farm), it’s not as slow as it seems, at least it works until we get the Battle Engine.

I don’t think fighting outside mobs is a good way to level up, very early they changed the game especially to discourage players to do that, on the other hand, Battle Engine could be able to farm solo the very first levels of PoTD, very discreet way to level up.

Until they release it, for most of the mats dropped by monsters, you can level up 3-4 DPS retainers and make them farm that for you, by doing GC daily delivery (with Lyfox scenario generator) you get so much GC seals that you can buy stacks of retainer tokens, you then never ever need to go farm yourself what DoL and DoW retainers can bring you back.
