If anyone has issues with the keybinds like me this is what I did to make it work. I had no idea what triangle was since I don’t use a controller and my shift-f9 is used for something else.
//gamepad->triangle sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num2) sendKey(num6) sendKey(num0)
I think if it’s in arc’s power this is a very solid idea that would not hurt the MiqoTeam in this specific, VERY exceptional, setting.
Good shout boys.
If anything I would think it would help the miqo team as people would still be paying for sub if they know they can keep using it. A few of us may sub regardless sure but the vast majority of users aren’t really paying attention to what’s going on so they may wander off if they can’t use it.
My hope is that this mess will be over soon but it doesn’t look likely and not having heard from them makes me worry for their safety.I’m so glad it’s still working through this latest patch. Personally I mostly use miqo for the combat assist, so to prepare I’ve been working on ways to consolidate abilities to make playing not hurt so much. I did find a plug-in from another thread on here called slothcombo that seems to be helping a little.

Has anyone heard from the developers? Like many others, I will also be extended my license in hopes it will help them. I check here everyday to see if anything has been posted by them >.<
nope
February 25, 2022 at 4:34 pm in reply to: How crazy can I get with Miqo and what do I have to keep in mind? #36077I can at least answer the first one. If you do all the arrow (sendkey) stuff yourself, you can certainly get miqo to choose the trusts for you. But if you use the built in combat assist squadrons (which is trusts as well) then it will select whatever the default trusts are. You can however go in ahead of time, select the dungeon, select scenario or avatars, select which trusts you want, then close the window. It will select them when you hit the squadrons command. Hope this helps.
(Maybe early ones)
No, Earlier dungeons have been adjusted with the same process. No exp for trash, only for bosses.
Sure: In this macro example, let’s say you’re a White Mage.
/micon "Bite-sized Pudding" minion /merror off /ac "Asylum" <me>
^^ This one will cast Asylum on ONLY you, and it has a cute icon. Miqo won’t recognize the /micon so she won’t use it. You’ll have to hit yourself. Just make another one (can use any pet name you want) with <t> instead of <me> and it will cast it on your target.
Here’s a list of my healer macros, keep in mind that in mine I don’t use quotes, I just use auto-translator but I’ve edited them below for cut and paste.
Scholar – Sacred Soil
Places soil on my target, if nothing is targeted then on myself./micon "Sacred Soil" /merror off /ac "Sacred Soil" <t> /ac "Sacred Soil" <me>
White Mage – Asylum
Places Asylum on my target, if nothing is targeted then on myself./micon "Asylum" /merror off /ac "Asylum" <t> /ac "Asylum" <me>
Places Liturgy on myself.
White Mage – Liturgy of the bell/micon "Liturgy of the Bell" /merror off /ac "Liturgy of the Bell" <me>
Ad DarkPokemon pointed out, you can split Soil and Asylum into two macros, one for you and one for your target if you want. If you do that I suggest using a different /micon so miqo doesn’t try to use them. This will make it a little less obvious and you don’t poop out bubbles at the beginning of a pull. XD

It’s really amusing during long pulls when I drop a bubble at the beginning of the pull. “Oops, hit the wrong button, carry on” haha, you can avoid that by turning it into a different /micon but you won’t see the cool down.
Having to turn the other stuff into macros to get them to work, that’s not normal. The only 2 macros I use are for asylum and lily. Not sure why it’s doing that. I can say that I have every macro bar button assigned to a keybind. Like 1 2 3, shift 1 2 3, control 1 2 3, shift control 1 2 3, alt 1 2 3, control alt 1 2 3… you get the idea. Then I also have keybinds to the changing of bars too. Also the ‘switch to hotbar X’ located in system keybinds all have a keybind. Control Alt Shift 1 2 3
Here’s a fun fact: Did you know that you can turn minion icons into micons? Here’s how you do it.
/micon "Baby Opo-opo" minion
Did you find the answer to both questions? Glad you were able to figure it out.
Thing I like about WHM is that all the 81+ abilities are either upgrades to something else or easily managed myself. If it’s an upgrade like Holy and Glare, miqo uses them just fine. The only new ones I have to do anything with are Liturgy and Aquaveil. You can even get creative with those like creating a macro for liturgy that as a <me> on it so you just drop it wherever you are. You can even create macros (though I haven’t done this) for Aquaviel to cast on <2> <3> <4> etc… and arrange the bar you put it on vertically next to your party members so you can quickly snap on the shield without much thought. All sorts of cool things. That also works great with Rescue to get those slow pokes out of the ancient flare. XD
If you have limited resources to devote to your product, are you going to use those resources to make something for a game with nearly 500k subscriptions or one with over 3.4 million. The choice is pretty clear. Even if only 1% of players use miqo
1% of 500,000 = 5000 x $10 a month = $50,000
1% of 3,400,000 = 34,000 x $10 a month = $340,000So strictly from that point of view, I wouldn’t waste my time making a miqo for another game. Of course the percentages I’m just pulling out of my bum as I’m sure they’re probably a lot lower but that’s just the idea.
Also, Miqo is built by people that play and love ffxiv that happen to be amazing at coding and application development. It only makes sense they build a bot for something they are familiar with and know inside and out.
Lastly, I would be willing to bet if you’re patient, some devoted developer who loves LA will eventually come up with their own at some point.
Disclaimer: the above message is strictly my opinion and my not necessarily a reflection of Miqobot in any way shape or form.
